When I arrived, the car was ready, but was warned that the battery could drain itself if the boot was not fully secured. It was, and it did. The fault was with the boot lid retaining bracket and within 36 hours I had no battery and was "off-road" for a day. A letter of complaint to their head office (they are franchises) remains unanswered after six weeks.

Quite good service and car, but the company is based on a lay. They claim to be environmental, but they are not, hiring small gas and diesel cars can not be called GREEN. The always try to charge you extra after the rental period. The quite cheep price from the beginning will soon be more expensive than other car rental company's.. I cant recommend this company.

BEWARE! Comparison websites my suggest you're getting a "deal", but the deal is that you are about to be taken.
We rented a vehicle, and we strongly "encouraged" to buy the insurance which lowered our deductible. We were not offered the chipped glass insurance, but this was apparently available too.
They checked the vehicle before we left, although there was nothing in writing. When we returned 3 days later we were charged for "scuffs" on the hubcaps, and they claimed there were 3 micro-chips in the windshield. Of course, there had been no examination of the windscreen when we left. Somehow these "damages" came to exactly 100 pounds upon our return. RUN, don't walk from these people. They don't need to make money on the rental; their profit is on the extoration at your return.
