Decided to buy my boyfriend a bespoke suit. Henry Herberts website was informative for a first time buyer of bespoke suits. The service was great, the prices were competitive and the suit looks fantastic! Really happy with our buy.

As far as I can see this is a small firm run by a young man called Charlie - he seems to have re-created an old name (Henry Herbert) from way back. I had a rough idea of what I wanted - a three piece suit. I approached Henry Herbert because they seemed a small, personalable firm and I wanted a personal service. What I got was something totally different from what I expected. It was a very personal service - to the point that I had a slight concern over my waistcoat choice and got a response from Charlie within minutes....in the evening! But what was different from what I had initially expected was the suit. I approached it with the default setting of a grey charcoal suit and I was shown a variety of charcoals. But my eyes were opened to the world of tweed and the Henry Herbert tailors steered me through the minefield of Irish and Scottish cloths and I have just received the most marvelous looking slim fit tweed suit, better than I coudl ever imagined...I absolutely adore it and I am so happy that they were willing to help push my 'default' thought outside the box. An amazing suit with an amazing service. Thank you Henry Herbert Tailors.

These guys are not the cheapest by any strech of the imagination, but they are great tailors who knew what they were talking about. They helped me with a wedding suit which I left until the last minute - how was I meant to know suits take so long to make?!!! We even put some extra trimmings to my wedding suit - including a very unsual velvet trim lapel which made it all the more special. Thanks guys for helping me avoid a close shave and making a great looking suit for my wedding day.

Thought these guys might be worth a mention as they certainly went the extra mile for me although it has made me realise I can never wear an off the peg suit again! Thanks guys! Having a tailored suit is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination - if someone is offering you something cheaply and it looks too good to be true, take it from me and my experience that it will be. Admittedly I didn't walk away from Henry Herbert with a huge amount of change, but you are paying for world class cloth, English tailoring and a very very personal service - everything that bespoke should be in my eyes. And they visited me at home, in the evening, when I asked - I don't think there are many tailors that would leave their workshops to do that.
