Have not been on our holiday yet, but found a very good deal, great that they include luggage, very easy site to use, have told loads of other people about the site.

Was very nervous abt booking separate flights/accom/trnsfs. Found that my fretting was for nothing. Within weeks of returning from holiday I booked for 2011, same place. Would highly recommend Sunshine.co.uk to anyone. I'm soooooo looking forward to it. Thanks

Difficult to suggest improvements really.
The whole experience was totally professional from the taxi bus picking me up after the easyjet flight which was uneventful even though you had no allocated seat - I was asked nicely if I'd move to the front as a family wanted to sit at he back - of course - better seat and the seat pitch throughout is very generous for a budget airline ( I've travelled alot ).
Staff professional, informative, and clearly enjoyed what they were doing.
I think you've cracked it - but don't relax - I might set up a travel company myself!
One suggestion - people with young kids and babies - why not offer them while waiting for a flight, fluids and sweets etc to keep them calm and not stress the parents / rest of the flight - it will cost peanuts but will differentiate you from your peers.
Keep up the good work - I'll be booking with you again soon.

i booked to go to Bodrum in Turkey, in October 2010. The service I received was first class, its been a bad time for tour operators with a lot going bust, but I was assured with the free insurance of supplier failure that they provide. As with any holiday, you dont know what you are getting till you get there, and some people expect far too much and give far too little... I had a brilliant time, and I would and will be booking again. thanks Sunshine may you forever shine

We have just returned from El Mauradi Skanes in Tunisia booked through sunshine, everything was smooth and well planned, private taxi transfers, the hotel treated us like royalty due to it being our honeymoon, our room was upgraded before we arrived (free of charge) and the holiday itself was alot cheaper than what fellow travellors had paid, the only downside is no reps in resort but did nbot need one as the hotel was so organised even with excursions, would definately use sunshine again, big thanks for a perfect holiday

We booked with Sunshine fairly last minute to go to Prague at the end of August. They were brilliant. Everything from parking to transfers to hotel went without a hitch. We had a great stay and would not heitate to use them again. Thanks Sunshine. I'm sure with the volume of travellers you handle, you can't get it right every time but I would definately recommend you.

I booked a holiday with sunshine.co.uk because I was able to get the exact hotel I wanted which wasn't avaiable through the normal package deals.
I was a bit nervous about making a booking through a company I hadn't heard of but the service was faultless - all tickets arrived in time, instructions were clear and the airline, transfer company and hotel all delivered exactly as expected.
Only downside is that as far as I know there are no local reps.

I booked a holiday with Sunshine over three weeks ago, it is now the day i fly out and i have just recieved a call staying that the accomadation we booked is no longer available!! They have offered us one alternate hotel to use and it is hours before we are due to fly out so have no choice but to accept. We have no faith in this company now, they can't even update the online voucher quick enough as we are now waiting to leave for the airport. Fuming is the word i would use. A joke of a company. Would not recommend this company to anyone and would not be using them again.

we booked with sunshine in march because we had used them before and they were registered with ABTA, but when we arrived at our apartment it was the worst we had stayed in, on our return i complained to sunshine who passed our complaint onto youtravel who they had booked our holiday with, youtravel said they were sorry our holiday hadnt met our spectations? that was it, so i complained to ABTA. I just received a letter back from ABTA who said even though sunshine is registered with ABTA as our agent they had booked with a supplier who unfortunately not a member of ABTA,so to cut a long story short just because we paid sunshine doesnt mean we had a contract with them and youtravel can put you in whatever they want and you carnt do anything about it. SO ALL BEWARE WHEN YOU BOOK WITH SUNSHINE MAKE SURE WHOEVER THEY USE ARE REGISTERED WITH ABTA ALSO, we made the mistake of thinking our holiday was only through sunshine.I am contacting trading standards as i think it is so unfair what companies are allowed to do to people and i think now why have ABTA? i booked with sunshine so i thought?

How come all the other reviews on the Seda apartments are brilliant, I know 2 other differant sets of families who have stayed there and they say it was brilliant, average sized rooms, cleaned everyday, food was lovely, on or off the complex. they are going again next year. You don't say what was the matter with your holiday, maybe your expectations were too high, you get what you pay for, if you want luxury, maybe you should pay out for it, and book a 4 or 5 star holiday. I must admit, it gets on my nerves when people complain AFTER thier holiday, you don't say if you spoke to your rep or asked to change rooms, I've heard they are very accommadating. We are going in 2 weeks time, I'll let you know what I think when I get back.

A word of warning: Never, ever, book a holiday with Sunshine Holidays.
We paid almost £1200 for a 2 week self-catering holiday in Crete for 2 of us. A taxi dropped us at the entrance to our apartment complex, and, it soon became apparent, that the entire complex was shut down. We were left stranded, somewhere in the hillside, at 2am in the morning.
We eventually managed to find a room for the night, and, upon telephoning Sunshine the following morn, we were told we would be relocated within the hour. That never happened. We were left abandoned, literally, with no accommodation, and certainly not a spare £1000 to pay for some more.
On our return, it is apparent that they are doing absolutely everything to duck responsibility. We have had neither an apology or offer of compensation. Our case has now been passed to the media to investigate.

We used Sunshine.co.uk last october school holidays. What a great easy and useful site, everything is broken down, so you know exactly what you are paying for. I was slightly dubius at first, having to print out flight, accommodation and transfer vouchers. Everything was absolutly fine!!!! I will be using you again Sunshine!!!!!

DO NOT USE!! booked a holiday to Turkey in a lovely hotel only to get there at midnight and they had no record of us at all! had to pay £100 to stay there the night, next day called sunshine who said they EMAILED me 2 weeks prior advising they changed the hotel THEY DID NOT! they put us in a grubby cr@p hole nad after several calls moved us to a very average hotel. Now they claim this hotel would have cost more so wont refund me even though while i was away i checked their site and it was over £300 cheaper. avoid these cowboys like the plague!

Booked Sidari in Corfu with Sunshine.co.uk. We decided to meet some of our family who had booked with Cosmo. I booked with Sunshine as they were £ 170 cheaper at the Yiannis Appartments for the same holiday. About 3 weeks before the holiday some 3 months after we booked it, they informed us the accomodation was no longer available and offered us a similar appartment but in a different resort.
I pointed out that we were going as a unit to meet our relatives and stay together but they basicaly said tough luck and they would refund our hotel. I pointed out we now only had 2 weeks to book a hotel nearby they refused to give a flight refund. Customer services were terrible and they gave no advice or similar appts in sidari.
Eventually I booked the same appartments via first choice it cost me an extra £ 200 which made the holiday more expensive than Cosmos.
They were pretty hopeless I would avoid them at all costs.

Good site, I never booked with them, but the navigation is not easy, and they stuff you with huge options for payments. The hotels good but not the cheapest out there.

booked a flight and hotel deal. tried to prebook extras, sunshine tried to overcharge, when questioned they didnt know the proper prices for the extras. 10 weeks and many emails/phone calls later still not found out!! tried writing to manager- didnt reply. very incompetant and rude staff.
never booking with sunshine again! dont recomend. hays travel(head office) just as bad!!

Booked through sunshine a few months ago then the volcanic ash hit.... I was told i will get my flights back and possibly the hotel prices. After a few weeks of emailing back and forth i received a full refund :) will book again as they were helpful and quick at responding

I recently booked a holiday to Dominican Republic - Hotel Iberostar Bavaro.
I booked via Sunshine.co.uk. Firstly they offer a Price Promise but you cannot find the terms and conditions on the website. I e-mailed them and they were sent to me at 10pm Saturday night and when I read them they stated that you had to make a claim the same day as you book. Fortunately as I have A Blackberry device I received the e-mail and was able to respond before midnight showing the cheaper offer. I then had to spend approx 10 days arguing by e-mail with them as first they said they could not find the hotel on the other site, then when I send them the link they couldn't find the flight! I was persistant and then they sent me a message to say the manager had checked and it wasn't the same flight. I then spoke with Trading Standards who checked and confirmed it was the same flight. I e-mailed again stating I had contacted Trading Standards and miraculously they apologised and gave me a refund of £104. The actual difference was nearer £180 but by this point I had lost the will to live!!!
We travelled on a Thomson flight but when the Volcanic Ash hit we felt very isolated as you dont have a holiday rep and Thomson are not interested as you are flight only. Although they are obliged to provide accommodation they were moving people to what can only be described as Tenco! We paid to stay at the same hotel which I have to say was fabulous and they gave us a 50% discount on the room rate.
We had no support from Thomson and Sunshine.co.uk only sent us a telephone number for Thomson which didn't help at all. We eventually got back by going on stand by for a Thomas Cook flight who I have to say were brilliant.
So the moral of this story is do not book with someone like Sunshine.co.uk as you have no support network when a situation arises. They may be cheaper but peace of mind is worth a few extra pounds by booking a package. Also Thomas Cook have my vote over Thomsons/First Choice

hi. we too had this problem.its not fair as we also thought we were covered as sunshine were abta bonded. we will also contact trading standards.
