I WOULD NEVER EVER RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!!,,.. sales man came round and gave his pitch,,, was quite impressed with the price and had agreed on a solid wood kitchen with granite worktops,, since he didnt have the door with him i paid my deposit and said i would cancel if i didnt see a sample of the door in the y day cancellation period, after badgering him, he turned up with the sample door which was quite obviously laminate and tried to pass it off as wood, getting my deposit back has been disasterous, there is only one girl in the entire company who deals with this and she works as and when she wants and getting through to anyone is a task in itself, and when ou do they fobb you off and are rude, im glad i cancelled when i did and went with a proper kitchen company after reading the reviews stating the same...

We had the same problem with this company Simply Kitchens. When the designer came out, we were so pleased with the price that we decided to order the kitchen.The delivery driver was polite and helpful, we opened most boxes to check for damage and what we could see of everything was ok. It wasnt until my kitchen fitter started fitting the kitchen and he noticed there was no doors or handles for our built in fridge freezer unit, also there were draw handles missing, a damaged unit, the wrong size draw fronts,the designer also told me the cornices and pelmets were included in the order but they didnt turn up with the order so i rang and the only way i could have them was paying an extra 120.00 for them, they said they would be delivered next week with damaged items and never turned up they started cutting me off on the phone and it had been over a month waiting for these items, so i wrote an email to the manager including my contact with Trading Standards, and what do you know they turned up with delivery the next day, so i am pleased i now have my kitchen but very disappointed with the service i received from the customer services, they are completely rude and unorganized. The kitchen quality of my order which is the real wood oak shaker is well worth the money but the hassle to get it isn't and what i read from the other reviews, i am very lucky to get the missing/damaged items. So i would advise to think very carefully before ordering a kitchen from this company as it is very stressful and along time waiting with only half a kitchen built up. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless they get all new customer service staff that can actually speak politely, answer your calls and deal with the issues reasonably.

Things to watch out for on the Simply Kitchens Salesman's visit :-
1) Time wasting - It was excruciating watching the two salesmen drawing my new kitchen on squared paper, getting it wrong, and re-drawing it. It also took them three attempts before they managed to add up the cost of the units.
2) Clock Changing - After the salesmen had left, I noticed that my bedside clock was reading 2 hours less, I suspect it was changed on a 'visit to the toilet' ...
In all I endured from 7:30pm to midnight.
Don't be pressured, even if it means turning down a Feature Home or Show Home deal.

Poor quality kitchens arriving damaged and water damaged. The tap and door handles I chose were not sent with with the excuse thats all they had so why give a choice in the first place. When you ring up to speak to customer service they keep you on hold for ages and are not very helpful either. They say they will send out missing parts ect but I don,t hold out much hope. This company should not be allowed to trade they are a complete farce as well as a rip off. If only I had done more reserch and was not so trusting I would never ever bought from this company.

SIMPLY KITCHENS
I ordered my kitchen from these guys because I too was enticed by the lower price. The kitchen was delivered in about 8 days and we were quite excited at first. Then we found that half the doors were missing and different colours. The granite tops were all chipped. Handles were missing, some doors were wrong sizes. After finally getting through to customer service (they are so rude!) I was told the rest of the parts would come in 5-6 days. When I called a week later they said that the order had not been processed. I am still waiting 3 weeks on and they do not have a date for me. I have a half finished kitchen and no idea when the rest will arrive. This has to be the worst service ever!

I wish I had done some research as well. I made the same mistake ordered the kitchen, paid the money in full on delivery. Doors were damaged, granite was chipped and badly scratched, gas range delivered was not the one I ordered. On wanting to return the goods I have been told I will only get a credit note whereas they wanted cash on delivery. I wish I had never ever let their salesman through the door.

This is the worst company that you have ever dream about dealing with. Promise delivery of kitchen within 7 days which they did but delivery was incomplete, took all up front cash, promising delivery of remaining items the next day but it has been over 1 month now and they still have not delivered. Customer service is as good as none, no one ever picks up the phone and even if they do, they are the most unhelpful people ever.Complete waste of time. They are the worst ever. Please avoid at all costs. The company should not be allowed to trade

You may think that saving a few thousand is appealing, but don't be tempted. This joker of a saleman came round and it took him less than 17 minutes to plan, design and show me the FULL range of kitchens, taps and extra's. I was a little concerned so told him that I would discuss it with a friend and let himn know in the morning. He started pressurising me and said that if I did not order the kitchen on the spot ot would be gone by the end of the day. I made an excuse and said I was not happy giving my credit card details over the phone. He then informed me they only take CASH! I said I did not have £50 on me. He asked me if I could borrow it from a neighbour, or could he drive me to the bank! By now I was freaked. I said a firm no, and he was packed up and out of my house within 5 mins. Thank god I have now gone to a decent company, and not Kitchens Simply.

Please do not buy anyhing from this company. My wife and I have hardly slept the last few days. Our kitchen should had been finished by now but its half completed. We paid £2400 for a kitchen. On the second day the fitters dropped the bombshell. Loads of things missing or damaged. Oh instantly, the doors are a different colour to the units. The fitters told us that every kitchen that they have fitted for this company in the past few months there have been similar problems. The after sales service is terrible. They never get back. In the meantime we are having to eat out or live on takaways; expensive with four children. Please someone help us!

have just had simply kitchens sales man here who was really rude and overides you to buy their kitchens i am glad i found this sight and these reviews as i was attracted by price but will not buy myself a headache

Simply Kitchens are simply terrible. I totally agree with the other reviewers. The prices seem good but parts are missing or damaged and then you have to start the complicated task of chasing them up. Their customer service is appalling and the individuals who man their telephones are often rude and very unhelpful. Promises about delivery times and return phone calls are just not met. Eventually after many, many phone calls over many many weeks(with a lot of time wasted waiting for replies or for them to hunt for my file)we got most of the missing items and a promise that the rest would be sent by courier. However their definition of courier has nothing to do with speed - over a week passed and nothing arrived. When contacted we eventually found out that nothing had been entered on their system (according to them the driver's fault - but in fairness their drivers were the only positive thing about the company)and we could expect the items to be sent to us anytime in the next fortnight! There would be no advance notice and if no one was present the items would be returned to the depo. Please pass on this message to as many potential customers as you possibly can - quite simply don't have anything to do with Simply Kitchens.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE read all reviews before you buy something!!!
We were looking for a not expensive kitchen and I went on the Internet to find something for tight budget.
The advertisement was talking about liquidating kitchens from MFI for price from about £500....we enquired for those kitchens, and the company reacted immediately and sent us a "designer". After all measurement the price was only £895 for 12 units, all worktops and a hood. After having that, my mind went completely blank (price was very good), and we ordered it.
The kitchen pieces come with many cracks, with some fittings missing. When I opened a pack with doors, I had 3 different types of white.
Our handles were as twice as big as that what I saw on the picture in the catalogue and again the colour was different. the designer's name was Neil, I cannot believe how he managed to finish primary school. We wanted to have some space free for our washing machine and dishwasher. He did put them on the picture, as 40cm for each of them., when our new Bosch washing machine is 60cm, and we wanted to keep it!. Furthermore, all machines with 40-45cm width only go with top load, how we can have them under our worktop!!!????
For sorting everything we even went from our home to their showroom (300miles for the whole journey) just to see real doors and real handles. We are still living in total mess and waiting for our new doors and fittings to be redelivered

Please please think twice before using this company, as a student nurse i needed a new kitchen fitted on a budget after a leak. Got this company out to quote as well as other more reputable companies however the sales guy for simply kitchen convinced me that there products were top rate and could give me a massive discount so i signed up on the spot, which was a huge mistake. When the kitchen arrived all looked ok however there were bits missing,doors damaged, coving scratched and damaged, some units had been cut and put together to make my units, corner posts were missing, handles were different sizes it was disasterous from the beginning and when i tried to get through to customer services either they didnt answer at all or were very rude and unhelpful 4 weeks later i am still waiting on a return phone call from a manager, of course by this point they had my money and were no longer interested, Thankfully i had a miracle worker for a kitchen fitter and he was able to peice together the rubbish they sent to make an acceptable kitchen although i was almost double the price i originally paid as i had to buy replacement units, handles etc. I dont ever write bad reviews for any company but feel this time i should warn others to avoid this company and pay more in the beginning it will save you a fortune in the end.

I wish I had seen this review before i brought from them! We are having the same problems! Ordered the kitchen 13th April, delivered 22nd April so paid in full. At first everything looked great then found broken items, scratched items etc. Then we found a unit we ordered was not what we ordered when I rang them they said they were out of stock of what we ordered so sent a replacement which we didnt want so changed it over the phone they said it wasnt a problem and would get it sent out asap. Their ts and cs say normally within 5 working days but can take up to 20, it is well over that! The agents are rude when we eventually get through, they dont care, they laugh down the phone or even hang up! All they say is it will be with you next week, which they have been saying since the end of April! We have spent loads more than planned on labour as our fitter has had to make modifications and we have also had to pay out for replacement parts! We now have 3/4 of a kitchen fitted and we still do not know if we are ever going to get the rest. We have contacted the md with no reply and have now gone to trading standards and watchdog as we dont know what else to do! We are wasting our time ringing simply kitchens as they just tell us lies to get rid of us! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE JOKERS!
