I had ordered 4 books and received only 2, so I mailed customer service. Their reply was almost immediate, they were extremely friendly and to the point. They kindly asked me to wait for another few days and if the books hadn't arrived by then, to let them know, they would make sure my problem was solved. A few days later the 2 books arrived and I mailed them to let them know. I received a very kind response wishing me lots of fun with the new books, they even wrote they hoped the books were in good shape. Coincidentally I had a problem with a delivery from sportsdirect.com at the same time and I had also contacted customer service. When I compare their unkind response with the one from awesomebooks.com I can only say: a very much deserved 5 stars for Awesomebooks! When a product only costs a few euros, it's not evident at all that a company invests in a friendly and efficient customer service, there are enough examples of the contrary. Your service is efficient, kind, to the point ... I couldn't wish for more!

I have ordered three books from this seller and they are so very courteous with every order! Shipping is fast and reliable. I am in the USA and they ship to people in the Philippines for me which is a great weight off my shoulders. Prices are very, very fair and shipping is cheap.

AWESOMEBOOKS.COM i used to be a very regular customer. in my experiences, books on many occasions were either out of stock (listed incorrectly) or of poor quality (damaged or with significant notation inside despite their 'standards' promising otherwise). rare was it for me to receive an order in a condition as described - i was constantly chasing up items (lost, not received, of poor quality etc). suffice to say, on my final dealings, even after providing clear photographic evidence that an item was NOT as described (far from it), customer service staff attempted to suggest otherwise & weasel out of the obligation to provide a 'full refund' under the conditions of THEIR so-called 'product guarantee'. to add further insult to injury, they added a condition that my $4 'full refund' would only come after returning the item (initially at my own cost - much more than the book is worth, to be 'refunded' weeks later when received). i think they know most would not go to that extent for $4. this experience was the final straw...cheap prices don't always equal quality. sometimes you really do get what you pay for... to sum up, the quality standards listed on their site mean nothing, their 'product guarantee' is not adhered to, excuses are given & 'rules' made as they go. you may ask: if they're that bad, what did you keep buying from them? answer: faith that maybe i had an odd 'bad' order/experience & the prices were cheap... all that said, i'm happy to say that many other sellers will be reaping the benefit of my regular patronage. buyer beware...there's many other sellers out there that do it better (maybe a slightly higher price at times but MUCH better quality/service)...

It sells truly awesome books in prices which are a real steal.It has a great quality control and even the oldest book sold is in excellent condition. I ordered a modern first edition from Canada and this bookseller sent it in a thin envelope without any package protection, bubble wrap or newsprint to protect the book from rolling around in the bag. It arrived completely worn down at the edges and the cover was torn in several places.
