I Feel like it’s really important that I leave this review as people are very quick to write about bad experiences, but don’t always take the time to write about their good experiences so here’s my whole journey with Concept Car Credit which started 3 years ago…. 3 years ago, my dad was involved in an RTA, his car, a very old Nissan was written off but the main thing is that nobody was injured (other than the car). As much as my mum was overjoyed to see the heap of metal go to car heaven, the panic soon set in about how he would be able to afford a new car or gain finance (his insurance payed out the value of the car which was £200)!! Neither my mum or dad had great credit history and as anybody reading this considering using Concept Car Credit will know, it’s virtually impossible to gain finance from any mainstream dealership. That’s when I done some searching online and come across Concept Car Credit. I had never heard of them, nor did I know of anybody who had purchased a car from them and like most people would, I checked the reviews. I found most reviews to be positive and the only negatives related to the monthly cost of the finance. This wasn’t something that was an issue to me as I knew that with bad credit, this would be the consequence (read further down as my monthly cost is not THAT different to other mainstream dealerships). So anyway, we applied online and within minutes someone called to speak with my dad, asked him numerous questions and invited him down to look at the cars. Before we left, I asked what would he really love to come home with, he had always owned Nissans and said he would love a Qashqai but knew this probably wasn’t in his price range. We turned up at the garage greeted by a very friendly member of staff (I’m so sorry, I don’t recall his name) but he sat with my dad and asked him what car he wanted and what his budget was. He told them and they took his ID and licence to search for a finance company. At this point we just assumed he would be declined and as this was our last hope, we were a bit deflated. Until the gentleman come down and said “I’ve sorted your finance now let’s go and look at cars”. We didn’t believe it but all excited off we went, the man showed us a number of Qashqai’s all different models but my dad fell in love with the first one he seen and asked could they provide a quote for it. We went back inside and the quote come back around 10 minutes later, we couldn’t believe it! The monthly price of my dad’s car is basically the same price as a lease car direct from the manufacturer give or take a few pounds, yes his is a used car but I can honestly say it’s like new, had low mileage and he has never had one single issue, it has passed every MOT, gets serviced every year no problem and for the first time in 3 years has just had its first set of new tyres since he got it!! So that’s my dad’s car. Now on to my boyfriends…. My boyfriend passed his driving test 3 years ago and settled for the most affordable car he could find due to the insurance being so high, it was a very old car and although the monthly payment was rather low, his insurance was £400 a month!! He described his car as one you see nan’s drive around in, he wasn’t comfortable in it and due to being a young man, his dream was to own a nice car, in particular a BMW (wayyyy out of our budget)! The three years finance finished in august and as the car was old, it was beginning to cause us problems. It got to the point where we just wouldn’t be able to afford the repairs so again, Concept Car Credit sprung to mind! We applied midweek and visited on the Saturday as this was the earliest we could get down. He went in with his “BMW” head on and now amount of talking down was going to stop him dreaming! We were met by a guy who asked the questions, found the finance and took us for a look around to find the perfect car for him he told him he could test drive as many as her liked and he narrowed it down to 3, 2 BMWs and 1 Audi. Now my thoughts were “as if we can afford these”. Wasn’t I shocked when after test driving, My boyfriend of course picked the newest, sportiest and most expensive car out of the three he liked?! Of course I was waiting for the guy to burst his bubble but instead he shocked me and give me a monthly price that was completely within out budget!! We had advised that we didn’t have a deposit but asked him to part exchange our old car as the deposit. My next question was can we afford the insurance? We made the phone call and got a quote which was satisfying to us. We got to Concept Car Credit at 9am and left with our BMW by lunchtime! I couldn’t believe it! Not only do they work miracles like this, you also get a few days of drive away insurance to allow you to shop around for quotes, we only rang our insurer as my boyfriend was young and the car was sporty so it worried us! Now this wasn’t my last dealing with them, we had owned the car 5 weeks when the engine warning light appeared. Not what anybody wants to see. My initial thought was oh dear, have we been sold a dodgy car? Our car isn’t old and has only previously had one owner with full service history. We had the car checked by a local garage to be informed there was a mechanical issue with the airflow which he was familiar with on our model of car. We rang concept and spoke with a lady who provided us with a contact number for the garage that Concept use for repairs (you get 6 months warrantee from the day of purchase for mechanical faults). We booked the car into the garage on Friday (26th Oct) we arrived early and as we are from Liverpool and the garage is in Bolton, we took a walk into the Town Centre and done some shopping. We had initially thought that the car would be needed all day but assumed we would be driving it home by teatime on Friday. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case for us. What had initially thought to be a quick fix, turned out to need parts that were not in stock and as it was the weekend, we were informed they wouldn’t be in stock until Monday (29th). My initial thought was how will we get home? How will we get to work? How will we cope without a car for a weekend? It was something that couldn’t be helped as with any car, problems can occur. I spoke with the same lady again who advised that she would contact the garage and call me back, she did this within 10 minutes and informed me that she had arranged for us to borrow a courtesy car from Concept until our repairs were complete (I know this was not in our terms and conditions of sale, and Concept could’ve left us to struggle without a car) this meant the world to us so the garage give us a lift to Concept and we met with the lady  who answered all our questions and sat with us while we arranged insurance, she even helped with quotes from other insurers and helped us with the cost! More parts were needed for our car so we have been delayed by 2 days but my boyfriend has collected his pride and joy this morning. The car is like new again and we have no worries with it at all! We have been without the car for a total of 5 days and every day we have received contact from the lady we dealt with with updates and her reassurance (which has kept me in particular nice and calm)! The garage were absolutely great and I can honestly say, I have never had a better “bad experience”. Faults with cars are not ideal but they happen and that’s life and we are very lucky to have had the help and support of the lady we dealt with and the aftercare team at concept along with the 6 months warrantee. They have all been great and if you are considering buying from them, please do! Not all showrooms provide warranty and I feel that 6 months is more than anywhere I have shopped for a car. It provided me with plenty of assurance that any mechanical faults (not caused by human error) were covered without me having to worry. I feel with a lot of places you lose trust in situations like this, you feel that terms and conditions were not all they were cracked up to be and you feel cheated. But this is something we have not felt from Concept. It has made me want to recommend them even more than I already do! Great company, totally understanding, non-judgmental, helpful and friendly! What more could you ask for? Thank you to the two people we dealt with and all of the staff at concept, we will be forever grateful to you all.

I drove away in a car in a few hours. the guys there stayed to sort the car and finance out for me after closing times, which I was really appreciated and happy about as I had work the next day and really needed a vehicle. I only got my car last night so Have no concerns as of yet, the car generally seems to be everything I needed in a family vehicle and appears to be able to contend with my busy schedule. Them as a team work really hard, I would definitely recommend them. Just Before signing my financial agreement. I wasn't sure about some of the pros and cons but they had a financial advisor sit and explain my concerns in away I could understand it . So fingers crossed the car it's self doesn't let them down as a team but not being a manic my self so this appears to be in very good condition

Keiron was absolutely amazing! I’ve struggled to get finance and he did everything he could to help me! As I live over an hour away he has helped me so much to find the car I want! I can’t wait to drive away with my new car :) So happy with the service provided at Concept Car!
