We shopped around a lot as usual for our car insurance.... as the title says we found Hastings to be a good price, without losing any extras. Very good customer service, especially liked the courtesy call after purchase. Documents delivered securely and quickly by email.

great company, someone went into my car recently there were no dramas ,I phoned company told them what happened really understanding was sorted within a few minutes had my car done within week an half had a courtesy car, so easy to sort out was dreading it as driver had left the scene , but couldn't believe how easy it was sorted out, no paperwork or drawings to do, I will stay with this company very pleased with service and agents on the phone were really friendly and knew what they were doing. I would recommend to family and friends

I arranged Insurance Cover for my wife and found the hassle-free process so straightforward I cancelled with my own insurer and went with Hastings. As simple as that! I have told my family and friends about the competitive pricing and trouble free way to switch. It's not often I recommend anything to anyone.

Bought through a comparison website - all worked well and process seemed slick and not too lengthy. I forgot to download my insurance docs within the time Hastings had specified but their staff were quick to reply by email and sent me the docs as an attachment.

Hastings Direct have provided me with a good service since being with them. They were the cheapest option on compare the market website by a mile. Their website is easy to use and navigate around. The options for different packages were clear. The email option for receiving documents was good and they were quick to send them. Since being with them they have only called once to check my package was what I needed and to see if i wanted to add any extras. This in my eyes is good as being hassled to buy things is not great!! So far I'm pleased with the service and would recommend them to a friend or family.

Really helpful, cheaper than competitors which is fab as I am a student and when I stated that a lot of companies would no longer insure me. Call back from a member of team was a good made me feel welcomed. The only problem i had with the insurance was tthe price of the deposit which I did find high compared to other companies however they had more to offer so I did pay it in the end. I found the process easy and "pain free"

Like the above review I found it to be the most competitive price. Once I had filled my details in on line Hastings were quick to email me my docs. However I noticed that the model of my car listed on the car insurance was not correct and so I rang them up and told them to find out that I had to pay another £50 because the actual model of my car ( which was correctly inputted by me on the Internet quote) was in a higher car insurance bracket!!! So what do I do? Cancel it all and start again??? No you've guessed it- I gave out a big sigh and said just add it to my monthly premium. I wonder if this has happened to anyone else????

Bought this insurance after researching a few different companies and found this to be most competitive. The customer service team were very helpful before and after I bought my policy. Would recommend to a friend. Filling in the online details were easy and straight forward.

It was very easy to go to compare the market and find a great deal on my car insurance from hastings with no fuss.I downloaded all the documents online and am very pleased with the service. I would recommend Hastings to a friend due to the service and value for money.

I have taken out the insurance for hastings becasue they are very easy to deal with and they gave me a good deal for my current insurance, over 200 pounds cheaper than admiral, just hope they keep being really good.This is the seond time i have returned to hastings and will keep doing so because of the good deals they give and no non sense call centres too why make things hard when you dont have to?

When my renewal was due , already with Hastings, the web price was cheaper than the renewal price. I contacted customer services who were unable to match the price and would charge me additional £10 to renew by phone!! I move house in the insurance period last year and they charged £35 admin fee to change my address!!!! no other company charged me to change my address!!
