Ordered in July a CD and they took the money out of my account next day. Contacted the company in August and told delayed due to company changes. Received email in September apologising for the delay and will be sent soon. Now end October and still no CD. When contact get usual holding emails. Absolute rubbishy, avoid.

“Avoid WOW site - paid money but did not receive DVD ”

Ordered a DVD and paid for it in June did not receive it. Sent repeated emails with no response until today (23Rd October) - see below. Apparently they do not care that I have paid money for nothing and they are not doing anything about it. This is the email I got: Thank you for contacting WOW HD! As of August 1st 2015 WOWHD is under new ownership. We have no control over any orders placed prior to us acquiring WOWHD. If you have yet to receive merchandise that was ordered and paid for prior to August 1st 2015 please contact your financial institution and file a claim. For any issues regarding orders placed on or after that date please contact our customer service department at [email protected] . Again, thank you for writing WOW HD.We appreciate your business. “Money For Nothing”

They take your money - don't send your order, despite still advertising the product ordered then make you change passwords denying you access to any outstanding order details surely this is illegal.

The fact I'm even bothering to do this says it all. Never mind the fact that I still haven't received my CD, it's like pulling teeth just to get an answer to my e-mails. Safe to say I won't be using this company again.

“Poor Service, Even Poorer Communication”

Up until recently I have used Wow-HD (formally CD-Wow) a lot over the years. But now I do not think I will use them again. I ordered up 4 CDs in May in time for birthdays, and Father's Day. Two of the items were pre-order (both being released in early June), and I expected them to be shipped soon after release. A week after release and they were on 'Back Order'. I contacted Wow, and finally I got a response that their supplier did not have stock, so I asked for them to cancel the order for the remaining 3 CDs. Since I sent the cancellation order, they then dispatched one of the CDs, and was told that when it arrived that I would need to request a returns form. A week later the CD arrived, and I have requested a returns form, but still no form. Communication seems to be only by email, and they take about 3 days at least to respond. I would expect a quicker turn around. What is so annoying is that they are quick to take your money, take ages to deliver a CD (if at all), and even longer to respond to emails. The deals maybe good, but the turn around is too long. Think hard before using them.

“Still waiting after two months”

Ordered 2 DVDs 20th April 2015 - 'House Of Cards' Seasons 1&2 so nothing obscure. Both were listed as being 'In Stock' at the time. Payment was taken from my credit card immediately but unfortunately the current status is now listed as 'Backorder' -whatever that means and, 2 months on, they still haven't arrived. Lured in by a cheapish price. Should have known better and stuck to Amazon. Never again!!

What an awful company - happy to take your money but don't deliver what you pay for. You get no response to your emails to customer service and there's no phone number to call - avoid this company at all costs!

“They used to be good .........”

I used to buy all my cd's through HD-wow (was CD-wow), but in the last few months they have turned in to a company that delivers nothing but empty promises. I have had to cancel the last three orders due to ridiculous delays. HINT if you still want to use them use Pay-Pal, they seem to respond when you raise a compliant via them and refund, otherwise you never hear back. I won't be using them again, pay the extra £1 and use Amazon.

I ordered 2 cds 8th May and 22 days later am still waiting. I have emailed twice and have not received a reply. If these cds arrive I will be amazed , but will never use this company again.

I ordered the new Madonna CD Rebel Heart a month before release. On the day of release it had not arrived. I checked the website and it said they were awaiting supply! I have now been waiting 3 weeks since release date and still no CD. I left a review on their website, but it was not posted by them (the most recent review seems to be from 2008!) Instead I got an email from HDWOW / WOWHD saying it had been sent but it was the couriers fault! Avoid! Prices are cheap if you get what you ordered but expensive when you get nothing!!!

“Avoid like the plague”

I made the mistake of not checking the bona fides of this company. I ordered a game that was advertised as in stock .I paid for the item and a couple of days later visited their site to check the status of my order. The item which was advertised as in stock was now on back order?? I emailed WOW HD TO inquire as to when the item would be dispatched and after getting no reply several days later I contacted them again to clarify the situation.This time they replied telling me whenever the item came in they would send it on. I decided to do a little googling for WHD customer reviews and realised I was one of many many people who have been spun the same nonsense. Ninety percent of the reviews were scathing of this company. Items on back order seems to be the norm, crazy delivery times,goods arriving damaged, goods going missing while in transit. I paid for my item on the 15th of August and ten days later its status is still back order! This company has given me no feedback as to when the item will be in stock never mind when I should expect to get it. They took my money straight away though.Going by the numerous reviews complaining about the how long they had to wait for goods to arrive it looks like I will be fortunate to have the game in the next three weeks ad that could be a conservative guess. I will get back to post the outcome but I will never deal with these chancers again. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Ordered a Cd a month ago that has never arrived. They then have a customer service team that will First email.. ask you to wait longer - as if a month isn't long enough Second email... ask you to confirm your address details and check with a neighbour/local post office stay away and stick with amazon.

“Beware of additional customs charges!”

I pre-ordered a game that was supposed to launch 12th of october. They shipped at the 15th and after 24 days, 8 november, I finally got my package. All my friends finished the game in the mean time -_-. But when it arrived I was charged 18 euro's extra for custom charges. They won't refund this!!!!!! Even though their slogan at the website states free shipment for everything. This site is not only very slow, it also makes orderers responsible for the shipment. This is the last order I made there, that's for sure.

“never got my order is it has been 5 weeks ”

there order usually came but now it has been 6 weeks i paid 70 euros for books i never got never mentioned refund or replacement either i asked several time i am begging to think i won,t get books and i,ll be 70 euros out pocked as well countless excuses week in week out
