“BAD QUALITY PRODUCT and BAD CUSTOMER SERVICES”

As soon as I received my mixer taps from bath empire, I realised that the cold lever was stronger to move than the hot. I thought nothing of it and let the plumber install the TAP. Big mistake the mixer water tap has stop working and the handles of the TAP have died. I have contacted bath empire and they are sending me around in circles, just asking ridiculous questions. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

I'm leaving this review because I'm absolutely delighted with the quality of and look of my new bathroom. It was fitted 2 days ago after arriving on time a day earlier. The quality and finish is exceptional. it looks amazing. I can't say too much about the service as I had no reason to contact them. I've noticed since we placed our order there has been a few poor ratings but I can't see any reason to complain. I would definitely recommend bathempire

Ordered two straight thermostatic electric radiators via eBay from this company and was sent one curved and one straight. This was only discovered once we turned up at our customer's property but, not wanting to be delayed any further agreed to accept the curved version on agreeing a discounted price. However, we then discovered that not only was one radiator wrong but they hadn't sent the thermostat's which we expected to be in the packaging. It took iBath 3 days to respond to my email as there was absolutely no chance of getting them to answer the phone - the number they provide you with just constantly rings out. Upon threatening them with a dispute case we eventually got the stats on a 24 hour delivery. No mention of sending a replacement straight radiator though eh. So, Bob's your uncle we thought... Fit the radiators and go to fit thermostat number one. Dink... the plastic casing covering the electrical components falls off. Just like that. As the rage begins to take over fit thermostat no.2 Good good, no casing falling off. Let's give it a try. Turn the thermostat valve up to full.... and it just keeps burling round and around and around and... you get the picture. Terrible quality so I say to my pleasant customer - "Em, they thermostats are faulty"... Our customer states, quite rightly, "not my problem."... "Oh" says we. "I'll see what I can get locally." "You do that" she says. So pops off down to Toolstation and gets what I need to finish the job. We do this. Customer nearly a happy bunny now. Get home, send iBath an email... and another... and another... and I'm still waiting for any form of dialogue offering either a refund, apology or acknowledgement. Disgusting company who have no ethics. So I'm taking them to court where I intend to claim for all my losses and time. And I'll win.

“Took money then said they were not sending the goods”

*DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY* took money, order went through then said they had to cancel the order due to it being delivered to an "at risk address" immediately called bank and card company. Never heard of this plus they had already taken payment. Took a day of calling around. Impacted on the building project as needed to order from elsewere. obviously this company has major issues with its financial systems.

“No Invoice or instructions”

Having rang this company several times with various issues, I am still no further on, It has held up the work being carried out on my bathroom. I have never received an Invoice for my order. Then when I received the power shower there wasn't any instructions for the jets. Again I was promised they would be with me straight away by email, and yes you have guessed still no response. The customer service is atrocious , after sales service is none existent, I definitely would not recommend this company as if these small issues cannot be resolved, what chance would you have with faulty products. Which might I say haven't been able try out because of the hold up with instructions.

“sell taps that it is a criminakl offence to fix”

The mixer taps I purchased were a criminal offence to fix and use according to Thames Water. From Bathempire" this stage I would also like to confirm that from the listings it does not advise that our mixers have a WRAS certificate. Also that it is not illegal for ourselves to sell a product that has not got a WRAS certificate. It is the responsibility of the person fitting the product to check that it has the certificate required for the to satisfy all legal requirements."

“Poor quality ”

I was very excited when initially bought a tap and shower mixer but after a few months of use the cold taps stopped working and despite repeated contact with the costumer service they kept saying they are looking into the matter. Eventually they sent me the spares for the taps instead of replacing the taps. How was I going to get the spares changed in a tap. Looking back at it I ended up spending more on the bath empire taps with substandard quality rather than buying from a reputed store. Warranty service is extremely poor and the the team tries to avoid any replacements. I was extremely disappointed. In further and for anyone who wants to get new taps or mixers I would certainly recommend branded items you pay a few pounds more but you get what you pay for.

“Simply awful avoid at all costs”

Ordered a shower tray for next day delivery for which i paid a premium price, next day no tray, following day no tray... spoke to customer servic supervisor, very appologetic says that courier messed up and it would be another two days , i told her no good to me as i had already paid for two abortive visits for fitters, told t first that they would refund the next day delivery charge,, they havent yet.. then told that they would credit whole amount and i could keep the tray... still no credit back... several telephone calls with their customer bad service department they finaally delivered a tray... and it was junk... wouldnt have fitted it any way.. bought one in the end from locaal plumbers merchant virtually half the price and much better quality. Since then they still havent refunded my money so had to cancel transaction with credit card company. Awful company awful products awful service...use at your own peril.

“Do not recommend this company to anyone!”

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Spent over £1000 on a bathroom suite and several items were received damaged. I contacted after sales to arrange replacements and were very slow to get back to me. Wanted to exchange a shower tray and was sent a form to fill in and arranged for another to be delivered. Almost a week later no replacement was received so another email later and they told me I had to arrange to send the incorrect one back. Something which I could have been told a week ago! Was also told that a replacement would be sent next day, still waiting. This has put my job back by several days and my customer is flushing his toilet with buckets of water! Thanks for nothing Bath Empire, I will never use this appalling company AGAIN!!!!

“Don't be fooled by other offers”

Don't be fooled by offers from organisations such as The Bath Store who claim they will not be beaten on price. Bath Empire beat them hands down on price and quality. I ordered an 'L' shaped bathroom suite and two cloakroom suites which arrived as planned. The quality of the bath for example is 1st class. There is no movement at all when stood showering in it unlike some that dip in the middle. The taps although not brilliant are of good quality as are the other fittings. I was particularly impressed with the over-bath shower screen. One of the cisterns had a hairline crack in it and upon notification (they merely asked to be sent a photo) it was replaced without question or drama. Even now a few months later I have discovered a hairline crack in one WC (probably from the same box as the damaged cistern, it happens) and having sent a photo they have promised a replacement by next day delivery. Overall I reckon I have saved £1,000 on the Bath store quote and received a superior item. Don't shop anywhere else. Warren Hamilton

“Rain Water has More Power!”

Bought a concealed thermostatic shower kit from Bath Empire. Not easy to install as each item had to be set into the wall at a different depth however with perseverance looked great - until we switched it on! First thing we noticed was that the LEDs did not illuminate but the shower still functioned. Having then tried the shower we noticed that the pressure was extremely poor despite all the assurances on their website about 3/4 inch feed etc. We then emailed Bath Empire and they were happy to provide another shower head on production of a photo (which they did) but there was no mention to our comment on the pressure. Our new bathroom looks lovely but is totally useless as the shower can not be used! It's cheap for a reason and after all our hard work feel totally disappointed and would not bother with Bath Empire again!!

However the silver lining came from the excellent customer Service shown from the young gentleman in the warehouse who was very friendly and took the heavy items to my car and made sure all my problems were resolved an even gave me great installation advice! “Wrong products delivered, poor resolution”

I ordered a sink & toilet in November 2011 and was initially sent the wrong products which they explained as being down to a warehouse mix up with different manufacturers issuing the same product codes. Then it transpires they did not offer the sink anymore (despite it still being available on their website!), so I got a refund. However I waited for the toilet for which the delivery date slipped week on week. Finally it gets delivered end Jan 2012 and it is again the wrong toilet! I then get told they do not offer the toilet I want, get a date for collection which did not happen twice. They are probably the worst retailer I have ever dealt with.

ordered shower kit online 27th of October and paid for next day delivery and called them later on asked them delivery information and customer service team said that they will send me email about delivery and i didnt received any email and nextday i sent them a mail asking about tracing number of delivery and received a mail from bathempire saying that delivery is going to be 25th of November almost a month to wait. i am trying to cancel to order buy from somewhere else. more over very rude customer service team specially this morning girl

Renovating a bathroom is stressful. After looking for what seemed like forever to find the right shower combination, and following the (mixed) reviews of BathEmpire i placed an order on the evening of Monday 24th October. As my only day off work is a Wednesday, I paid and extra £8.95 for next day delivery and ticked another job off the seemingly endless list. An order confirmation arrived promptly, though it didn't detail what i'd ordered or the price i'd payed which seemed a little odd. The following morning i received a 'Your order has been despatched' email. Great, all on track i thought. Wednesday arrived, the kids were off school (the holidays) and nothing arrived. It got to 3pm and i finally decided to give BathEmpire a call. A lady answered and when i asked where the parcel was i was informed that it hadn't been sent! Now what followed was to say the least, lying. First she said that the order was with picking. I explained that i'd payed for next day delivery to which i was informed that the automated 'delivery' email was confusing. Next, when i said that i wanted to cancel, the order suddenly was in a pile at the warehouse and 'needs to be found', that is unless it's already been collected by the courier. Hmmm.. You tell me... something smells funny here.. To this end, i understandably asked for a call back (i verified they had my number which they did) as soon as she knew what the progress was and was assured that she would.. but she didn't.. so i called back an hour later; "i'm still waiting for the warehouse to let me know" she said. I asked again, "will it be today!?". Yet again, she assured me it would be. She didn't call me. Not only that, but i immediately emailed them to inform them as to my disgust with their service and lack of communication. They haven't responded to that either, nor have they apologised, nor have they called me. You'd be wise to keep a close eye on the website though, as they have a number of different company names that they trade under, all with differing prices.. IbathUK on Ebay is one of them, god knows how many others there are. One thing's for sure, I won't be going anywhere near them again, and if you read this BathEmpire, you'd better get that refund back in my bank account quick sharp, or you'll be getting a chargeback from your card company!

We ordered taps and a shower and wastes from this website as were trying to do things cheaply. The postage was free over £199 which is brilliant and the price of the products was very competative. when our goods arrived (on time) we noticed it was all in fantastic order bar the shower control, the taps were perfect and a fantastic weight and quality. We contacted the company directly to say that the shower bar was all scratched and could we arrange a new one, instead of us having to send it back and then them sending a new one they asked for photos via email (2 hours after the email was sent, not 24 like most places) once the photos were sent, they emailed back to say it was fine and a replacement was in the post and not to worry about the original one. we didnt have to pay for this. im amazed at how good the quality of all the goods we bought are. they have made our bog standard little end terrist house bathroom go from the norm to AMAZING! will use again infact were buying the kitchen taps from there today

“The WORST Customer Services in the world”

I ordered a shower enclosure and a towel rail, it was very late and delayed my bathroom! So I called to find out what had happened, but the phone just rings and rings and rings........... After calling every hour, for every day for a week, I gave up, nobody was actually at the end of the phone line. I decided to e-mail then and ask for a status update of my delivery, no reply after 24 hours, so I sent them another, I still haven't received a reply from them. I also sent out a tweet to there Twitter account, no reply yet they continue to tweet special offers. Item finally arrived very late, and come with digs on the shower enclosure, again, tried to call and e-mail with no luck. Avoid at all costs, the good looking website made me buy, I'm not the only one with these issues after researching online.
