This company is simply awful! and their newly named set up " In Touch Financial" is just as bad. They take your money and dont pay creditors, always conveniently have probs with "bacs" payments, having an "account review" which has stopped money going out. Dont go anywhere near thes companies. You'l end up in a worse position than you first started

I'm a Journalist working for a County newspaper and I'm trying to uncover why/ how this company managed to scam so many people and then go on to operate a near identical company with a different name.

“Hello, ”

written by on 29/09/2010

Hello,

I have just found out tonight that Chase Saunders have gone into Liquidation. I have been suspicious after nobody answered the telephones and I am now very worried that they have not paid my creditors and apparently I cannot claim the money back that has been paid. I would like to know why as customers were we not informed back in June. I owe NatWest money and now I am worried.

“I was a Customer of Chase Saunders since November...”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 22/09/2010

I was a Customer of Chase Saunders since November 2008. I spoke with a very nice girl (or so I thought!) at the start of my Plan and she made the Company sound impecable, even when they sent me out my Documents it all seemed very Professional. She informed me that I would only ever have one point of contact which would be herself and that there was no set up fees. They would take £17.00 each month from every £100.00 that I paid to them. That seemed fair enough to me but as anyone who was a Customer knows this was completely false. I am not easily conned by people but I was well conned here as have a lot of other people. I had approximately £9,000.00, of un-secured debt in the hands of Chase Saunders and paid them to date the sum of £5,300.00, but am still approximately £7,000.00, in debt. I am concerned as to where my money has went and am considering seeking Legal Advice to see if I can get my money back. It is so unfair what they have done to their Customers, lied continuously, never paid Creditors and offered a Poor Service. The Government should step in to help it's Customers with their outstanding Debts and money unaccounted for as it has helped out Banks in the past with their debts and Chase Saunders Customers have just been unfortunate to be conned by very smart people. Has anyone got any money back or went any where for advice?. I don't know what I'm going to do now about my Creditors as I'm unsure about touching another Debt Management Company after this but my Creditors need to be paid. Do not touch Intouch Financial Services either as they are just Chase Saunders trading as Intouch Financial Services but as I was told they were a part of Chase Saunders that Chase Saunders was still in operation until I checked their web-site (Currentlt Under Maintenance) right!. How are they getting away with this?. Can't the Goverment put on their we-site "No Longer in Operation due to Liquidation in June 2010".

written by on 14/09/2010

I joined Chase Saunders this time last year. Four weeks ago I came home to seven letters from my creditors, 3 of which were CCJ claim forms. All of them demanding to know where their payments were. When I tried to contact Chase Saunders, the number just kept ringing out. I came online to check I had the right number, to be greeted by the knowledge that CS had gone into liquidation and that many creditors had not been paid for at least 3 months.

I have now set myself up with another debt management company who have been brilliant, and very understanding of the situation.

Yesterday, I receieved a text message from Chase Saunders asking me to call in as my last payment to them was overdue! And today I have received a voicemail from them asking me to call in.

I can't believe the nerve of these people. If anything I should be the one demanding money from them!

“I am so annoyed and no I am not working on behalf of...”

I am so annoyed and no I am not working on behalf of any debt management company. I received a call last week to inform me that Chase Saunders had gone into liquidation from the personal debt helpline. As you can imagine I was mortified after being a customer with them for 5 years I was concerned that I had not been informed and that the creditors would be banging on my door. I had received 2 letters from my creditors explaining that they had not received any payments. We called the regular chase saunders number and did not get any answer and we emailed our regular account manager and did not receive any response.

The lady from the personal debt helpline asked me to check the reviews on the website and told me they could help. I have now signed up with them and my monthly payment remains the same and the admin fee is roughly 15 quid cheaper each month.

After reading some of the reviews I rang the chase saunders holding number and spoke to a rather rude and unsympathetic lady who told me that she did not think it was chase saunders responsibility to inform some 4,000 clients that the chase saunders limited company had gone into liquidation. I beg to differ with this considering that we pay a monthly admin fee to these people to work on our behalf. I explained to the kind lady that I was concerned that another company was able to gain our information to call us in the first place - she said this was being dealt with professionally!!!r

I feel as a customer I have been treated unprofessionally and will now have to put my faith into another debt management company.

I am very confused with it all to be honest and cannot understand how a debt management company can go into liquidation!!!

I only heard chase saunders had gone when I received a call from another debt management company. I have now changed to Welcome Solutions and it could not have been easier. Chase Saunders did not give any info about their situation and have given very poor service for the past year - never go near them or the company that takes over it case it goes the same way!!!!!! They do not deserve any rating

I have been with chase saunders for 2 years and I spent ages chasing them last year to be told there was a problem with the Bacs, I actually questioned then as to whether they were financially sound as was advised on a number of occaisions they were. I have now found out they are in administration via another debt manangement company, and I called to see what was happening. my creditors have not been paid for 2 months, although InTouch solutions tell me that they have made a payment recently. my creditors say payments have been sporadic. Not sure whether I will get my money from them and whether they have indeed sent it. I have set up my own payments to my creditors from next month they get paid more and at least i know they will get the money!!! Be very wary of this company whoever they trade under

we have lost £1000 and we have found a way of getting it back, ring Chase saunders holdings on 0800 228 9228 and you should be able to get your money back.

and they have got our money according to the lidquidators.

Chase saunders have been running under different names, intouch finaincal solutions and countrywide debt counsullors. so dont be fooled, if they ring up with a lower feee! dont accept!

anyway how can a debt mangagment company go into lidquidation?

“Last night I received a phone call from a Debt...”

written by Mulberry on 24/08/2010

Last night I received a phone call from a Debt company, informing me Chase Saunders had gone bust and none of my creditors were being paid. I questioned the lady who was telling me this as I have not had any issues to date. She advised me to look at this web page and see what was on it. She then asked if I would like her to provide the same service at the same payment as she would be willing to take on my case. I asked for her details and told her I would get back to her. I have spoken with Chase Saunders today, as I was thinking of stopping my next payment, but was surprised to hear this was not the case, but they were now part of in Touch financial services. He assured me that my money was being received every month and paid out to my creditors with 8 working days. I have received emails confirming the amount and as yet have had no problems. I wonder if this is just a scam to get you to change to the other debt company!!!!! I am going to stay with Chase Saunders and see what happens over the next few months. Wish me luck :)

written by on 24/08/2010

It all makes sense now after reading what you guys have put over the past week. I had my suspicions last month after recieveing notice from creditors that they have not recieved payment. I phoned them and was told that they had been paid as far as they were aware. Anyway after recieving litigation letters last night i tried to phone them, the lines just went dead andcould not get hold of anyone. After this being the second company to screw me about i have decided to do it myself.

I spoke to two of the creditors who were really helpfull and i am in the process of negotiating a monthly payment already with them. Fingers crossed it will all run smoothly. Lots of advice on the internet so im gonna go for it. This way i can be in control and the extra that Chase Saunders charged can go towards the monthly payments.

Hope this helps someone

written by on 23/08/2010

I have been with Chase Saunders for 6 years. It all started to go weird last February when I found out none of my creditors had been paid since October 2009. I bombarded chase saunders with phone calls (I was told it was their new banking system) and I got my payments made. All statements stopped, so I had to repeatedly ask for them. Creditors always phoning or testing and even emailing now (god knows how they got that). I have just found out that they have gone bust and I have lost 2 months payment (I think). I have now signed up with another company. I am totally gobsmacked
