I had been put off the idea of an extension by the thought of all the paperwork and planning however cr smith handled all of this and the whole process was very smooth and surprisingly quick. A member of staff contacted us on a regular basis to let us know what trades would be in and when and installation ran very smoothly from start to finish. A few months down the line through a wet winter and storms and no problems have arisen so we are very happy with the overall result and would recommend CR Smith to others.

Last November we had new windows fitted in five rooms and a patio door fitted in another. The initial appointment was carried out quickly and efficiently and all our questions were answered. The surveyor's appointment also went very smoothly. Everything was installed just under three weeks later and took less than two days. The men worked non-stop, and when they had finished you wouldn't have known they had been here. At first we had some difficulty locking the patio door, and it then stopped locking altogether, but after calling CR Smith someone was out in less than an hour and it was fixed immediately. First class service. The company is more expensive than some others but we knew this beforehand, and it was well worth it for the quality, guarantee, and peace of mind.

I got new windows fitted in October and I'm over the moon will the result,from start to finish from the salesperson to the fitters where excellent,would definitely recommend in the future.

We had CR Smith replace many of the old single glazed windows in our house just over 10 years ago. We have always been very happy with the double glazing windows they fitted, so when it was time to replace the last window we were never going to ask anyone else to do it! The whole process was painless, as always. Quick visit by the salesman to help us choose the right window. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Then the window was fitted by two polite and friendly fitters, who cleaned up well after themselves. A couple of days later the man came to varnish the wood, and hey presto! what a nice new window! Decided a new window would complete my new kitchen, and approached C.R. Smith as have used them in the past. Everything was very efficient from initial costing, to survey and completion of job, which went smoothly. Delighted with finished window. The colour of the oak matched my new kitchen perfectly.

We commissioned the installation of an oranganery from CR Smith which took approx. 6 weeks to complete. The work started with the builders working non stop, digging, bricking and cementing the foundations - very impressive leaving the surrounding areas clean and tidy. Joiners, electricians and third party contractors were scheduled by the project planner who would update us every Friday afternoon to provide the arrangements for the following week. During these discussions it was also an opportunity for us to highlight any issues which had occurred still to be resolved. On completion of the project the project manager visited us to go over any snagging and this work was attended to over the following week.

Job done professionally and quickly, finish to the windows is very good and have no issues with the workmanship. Very clean and tidy all debris removed and areas tidy windows cleaned what more could you ask for.. CR Smith is a very reputable and loyal company.

This was our second time with CR SMITH,we had front windows done the first time which worked out ok. The second was a bit more work with new doors also,we were very pleased at the speed of which everything was fitted and installers were pleasant enough. However there was a fair bit of mess left but this was to be expected as we did have a lot of work carried out bit did not appreciate large screws lying about especially when we have a young child. But overall we are happy with work carried out.

I found the CR Smith experience very satisfying from the start to the end.The gentleman came to discuss the installation was very informative as was the person who did the survey.The door and the front panels were fitted within 10 days and I was very pleased with the workmanship. In all,a very good job!

Professional attitude of everyone we spoke to before, during and after installation. The 12 month interest free deal also suited us as we still had another year to go before paying off another home improvement loan. The extra touches, such as the solid wood surrounds on the windows puts them a level above the rest of the doubling glazing market.

I was very happy with the whole process selecting my new windows. The installation was professional and the joiners were very polite and helpful. I would use this company again. The only aspect which I would change is the handles which I think are quite chunky and 'industrial' looking.

Over the past year I have had all the downstairs windows and front and back doors replaced (the upstairs had been done several years before). The work was done swiftly and efficiently, with a minimum of disruption. I believe that this has added to the value of the house, and there is a noticeable reduction in fuel costs. I like the fact that C.R. Smith have improved their product over the years, with more efficient vents and a wider gap between the two panes of glass. It fits in stylistically with the rest of the exterior decoration. One thing I would like to have known before making the purchase is the exact time it would take to get the job completed. I also have the ten year guarantee for the work, which can be passed on to a house purchaser, should I be inclined to sell. I am pleased with the way that the workmen tidied up after the job was completed. I would certainly recommend C.R. Smith to a friend.

Just had windows fitted in my new flat. I am first time buyer so not really sure what I was doing. CR Smith made it really easy. I called them up and got an appointment the next day. The salesman Bill was great. He took me through my options. Loads of choice to choose from. He explained how it works and no pressure at all. Really great that I don't feel forced into it, unlike other companies that I had been speaking to. My parents have bought from CR SMith before so it felt like the right choice. Surveyor attended . Again explained how it worked and I had changed my mind on the finish which was no hassle at all. Install was quick and no mess. What I really liked was the professionalism and that they arrived on time. No mess no fuss no issues. The windows have made a big difference. Brilliant service. The Salesman was great when I decided to enquire about new windows for my property, he explained everything so I clearly understood the process without the use of jargon. He showed me several samples of frosted glass so I had the choice for my bathroom window, nothing was too much trouble and the best thing was he was not pushy. A totally seamless experience looking forward to getting my new Windows installed.

Recently relocated from down south and this company was recommended. After an initial visit the salesperson gave us some great ideas for our new home. Really happy with the quality of windows the design of our stained glass windows was first class and the installation was excellent

I am absolutely delighted with my new windows. I chose the oak pvc as my old windows were timber. I wanted to make sure that what I was buying had good energy ratings to keep my heating bills down as well as looking good. The day I had them fitted was really cold but the workmen did a great job to keep the house warm and cleaned everything up as though they hadn't even been here. My house now looks stunning both inside and out. This was a great choice and even better than I had hoped it would look.
