They very well accepted my first payment, but I had selected the wrong package. To change it they asked me to cancel it first and order again.

They wouldn't take my payment anymore.

It's disturbing when I logged on to my site to find someone's replaced all of my index files with 'hacker woz ere' messages which take ages to clear up and no satisfactory response as far as I am concerned from Pickaweb apart from 'change your password' for me. After admitting that they have had a security breach with my website I asked what they've done to fix the issue, but as far as I am concerned I did not get a satisfactory response. If I hadn't have just bought an SSL certificate with them, which I can't transfer, I'd be out of there.

I do not recommend Pickaweb Limited - the support is dismalin my opinion, I feel I have constant issues with my email for the last 6 months and have been on the chat support more times than I can count (at least once a week) and each session lasts an hour or 2 and then the next week I have the same problem. I have also got files in my website directing spam to my email addresses and files containing text like 'viagra' etc..... @how did these files get there?' I ask them and their reply is always ' we have removed them' .....thats it!It has been a learning experience in my opinion, for legal reasons may I confirm that all this is my opinion and I am in no way in a position to state any of this as fact! but in my experience.... I do not recommend Pickaweb Limited

They offer really impressive support through live chat and phone, technical and accounts. I have a hosting package with them and the control panel is excellent.

I would definitely recommend Pickaweb Limited for web hosting.

After registering and paying for a domain and web hosting through Pickaweb, I found I could no longer access the site. After several emails between myself and the technical team online, the issue had not been resolved. It was not my PC that was the problem, as I had tried two different desktops and a laptop. I decided to cancel my web hosting account, and as soon as I had done, I found I could access the Pickaweb site again. I find this coincidence very strange.

Pickaweb Limited - Having recieved SPAM mail advertising a website that had no opt out and I definitely hadn't opted in for I tried to trace the ISP where the website was hosted. I couldn't trace where the email had originated as everything had been spoofed.
The ISP was Pickaweb. I contacted pickaweb regarding this spam and they couldn't care less.
Because the spam mail itself hadn't originated from their servers, even though they hosted the website itself they were not prepared to do anything.

I apologize that you are recieving these messages but there is nothing we can do if the mail is not originating from our servers."

I find this amazing.

Even TRIPOD remove websites they host who send SPAM out through another account.
Pickaweb must think spammers are stupid if they think they all send out spam through the same account as their website is on.

How are we ever going to rid ourselves of spam when ISP's have this attitude.

I have never come across a company as useless as pickaweb the truth is that their staff don't understand their products so the second anything goes wrong they are not capable of offering support. It really is dismal when I insisted that one of their support staff make some attempt to offer me support he just became rude and hostile.

Don't go near them they are a bunch of cowboys!

My site got hacked by a well known hacker from Brazil. I reported it to Pickaweb, and after waiting two days, their reply was I should change my site password... I insisted there was a problem, and a further two days went past. All they said was that they had conducted a security audit. No proper explanation, no apology.
