I have been at Fordbank for over 9 years now, for the past 4 years fiona has taken over the yard has come on leaps and bounds with so much improvements made for horses and all customers. All horses are well looked after and of brilliant quality. Great family yard for anyone with an interest in horses,would definatly recommend!

I have been at fordbank now for over three yrs and find it an extremely well managed yard,fiona has time to listen help or advise even when she is really busy .the horses are all well looked after and staff are friendly and helpful .overall i highly recommend fordbank its a great place to ride !!

I came to Fordbank after hearing great things about the yard from a friend. I started taking lessons and now have a horse on adoption. Its a great place to be everyone is really friendly and always willing to help out! Not only have i been taught to ride i've also learned so much about caring for horses. Fiona has gone out of her way many a time to help people out and is always thinking about the best interest of her horses who are all great!! I have went from knowing very little about horses to feeling confident in riding and now caring for one with the added bonus of someone there to help out when i need it. i really enjoy my lessons and would recommend Fordbank to all. I have made some great friends and learned alot.

There is nothing bad to say about Fordbank. The owner, Fiona, has always got time to take out to listen and offer advice, nothing is too much trouble. The staff and helpers are all hard working and very welcoming. Karen is excellent and professional, a great confidence giver and very friendly. She is also great with children. The horses at Fordbank are wonderful. A horse to suit every rider. The horses there are really incredible and they are all fantastic at what they do. They are all extremely well cared for, not something you usually find at riding stables. There is so much more I could write and I do not hesitate to recommend Fordbank!

i have been going to Fordbank now for 3years an since then i have started improving my riding skills and started more shows, with the help of Fiona and Karen. The horses that Fiona supplies are all fantastic, you couldn't ask for better horses . All the people that work there, are great! So friendly and help with anything. i wouldn't ride anywhere else. There is Fiona, Karen and Jen as the instuctors and you couldn't ask for better instructors. i have a lesson every week with Fiona to improve on my Jumping, and i learn so much! Fiona organises a variety of expierences for the customers; Ingliston trips, beach rides, hacks, own a pony day etc. i have made true friends and couldn't ask for any better!

I have been going to Fordbank for 7 months now, since then Fiona has helped me find an absolute gem of a horse and really went out of her way to look at different horses to make sure I found the right one. All the staff are friendly, professional and very reliable.I wouldnt have my horse anywhere else and would recommend the yard highly for livery and as a riding school. Fiona, Karen and Jen are fantastic instructors and I have a lesson every week gaining more experience every week. No lesson is the same and Fiona goes above and beyond to bring new experiences to her customers putting on trips to Ingliston, beach rides,own a pony days and shows.
I have made true friends here and everyone is very helpful, couldnt praise it enough!!

Hi my name is Fiona and I am the owner of Fordbank Equicentre , I believe that I operate a good business where the priority is most definitely my and my customers horses, I have absolutely no concerns about any of the horses that are kept on my yard and find the comments left recently to be that off someone with some kind of grievance, that aside I have 4 permanent members of staff and infact do not employ any students, if such a student were ever to be on my yard then they would have met Karen , should anyone have a genuine concern then they should contact the sspca and I will welcome any inspection from any such organisation, we are fully licensed and inspected by the relevant authorities.

I started riding lessons at Fordbank roughly 5 years ago and when Fiona took over management she made it. The staff are always happy to give a hand or answer any questions you may have.The horses are excellent and well kept.Since Karen (instructor along with Fiona) joined Fordbank the place has went from strength to strength. I would recommend Fordbank to anyone who is looking for a riding school or livery yard. Everyone is always friendly and happy to help, both staff and helpers. From my experience Fordbank has brought me alot of happiness through some tough times, through making friends and the horses themselves.

My 15 year old daughter moved to Fordbank nearly 4 years ago just after Fiona took over and i can honestly say it is a fantastic yard. She wanted to learn to jump and now under Fionas guidence and instructions she is now competing in BSJA competitions. She is in the process of changing from a pony to a horse and Fiona has halped her all the way, right down to helping her to find the right horse to buy. She has built up very close friendships with the other girls there and would not move yard for anything. Everyone is friendly and fun to be arround. The yard is well supervised at all times and very well run, with a wide variety of horses to suit all levels of riding ability from beginners to advanced. My 10 year old daughter also attends pony days and pony camps and she absolutly loves it. She has had her birthday parties at the yard and has took along many of her friends. She enjoys the fact that they get taught all about the horses, how to look after them, groom, feed etc. Not many places give children the opportunity to learn this first hand without actually owning their own pony.
All in all Fordbank is a great yard and everyone there is happy to be there.

I can honestly say that Fordbank is a great place to go and ride and to learn about horses, thanks to the knowledge and friendliness of the staff and helpers there. I have ridden at various stables in the past and found this to be the one that I'm happy and comfortable at. It is well run and well managed, as far as I can see, and the children about the stables always seem to be well supervised. I have taken part in the adult own-a-pony days and they are always good fun and well organised. The staff split us into groups to learn about mucking out, grooming, cleaning tack, riding and various other aspects about owning a horse, and I have been down there when the children have taken part in similar days - they were well supervised, having an adult supervising each group of 3-4 children at any time. Anyone who rides there is put on a horse to suit their ability, there are so many lovely horses and ponies to suit, and safety is always the priority! I would highly recommend this riding school to anyone, old or young, as a fantastic place to go and ride!

I have a 14 year old daughter who has been at this yard for 4 years and can hand-on-heart state that you could not find a better run or supervised yard. My daughter has gone from not wanting to leave my side (due to death of her father) to attending pony days and pony camps every year. She has made a lot of new friends and is a totally different girl from when we first moved our horses (2 off) to this yard. This is due to the encouragement, support and friendliness of the staff/owner at Fordbank who do everything they can, even when they are not working, to ensure that children, and adults alike, receive the best service and assistance they can provide. My daughter now competes at show jumping competitions with her horse and this is due to the excellent level of tuition which she has received at Fordbank. All in all, Fordbank is an excellent yard and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have anything to do with horses - you wont find a better place (I wouldn't have moved my horses here and have my daughter at the yard if there were any problems. Four years down the line speaks volumes in itself)

What a wonderful place. Staff are very warm and friendly. My two children enjoy the place so much.Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
