For years I though JL cards were marvelouss. NO MORE. This year I paid for 5 Advent Calendars. Two of them were NEVER sent. I wrote countless complaints about this, going so far as to send an air mail letter to England with absolutely no response. What is the matter with this company that it will not fulfill its obligations? It is just plain DISHONEST.

Do not use this company. They never respond to emails and when you start using them they carry on debiting your account. I have not been able to access my account for 2 years and yet they keep debiting my account and yet ignore my emails. Thought cards were lovely at first but now am sorry I ever used them.

Been a member for years. This year after renewing my membership, I have been unable to send any cards. I have e-mailed them several times & left my phone number, but still no response. Why do they not list their phone number?

I had been a member of this site for several years and always been delighted with quality of ecards. I recently bought the 2014 advent calendar only to find after twobdays that my activation key no longer worked. Ongoing to the website there was no record of my purchase so I paid again. Two days later the fresh receipt disappeared and no calendar access for me again. Despite polite emails to the team and using their online support request not even had the decency to reply. Would no longer use or recommend.

the organization has obviously overstretched itself. Lovely advent calendar. Impossible to open it. I sent ten, of those only five people were able to open it. I, myself, had to buy a totally new Windows 7 computer before it would install. Last year I had no trouble, neither did any of my friends. Now I have five unwanted, unable to open gift calendars on my "order page" and cannot get administration to refund my money. I have had lengthy correspondence with the J.L. computer people, they just kept repeating unhelpful instructions which they had been told over and over did not work. So far they have refunded me $2. I have given up any hope of getting back the rest of my money. When my "membership" runs out, I will no longer be dealing with Jacquie Lawson. I have forwarded all the agonized and furious messages from my friends as they struggled to open the Advent calendar. They need to completely rework their IT section. What a pity, they had a very good thing going there for a while.

I had an account with this website for some time and though they warned my account was due for renewal when I checked according to what I saw on the screen I still had six months left so I did nothing. Then I received an email stating I no longer had an account with them. I have written to them twice through their specific contact section and they have not had the courtesy to acknowledge my mail let alone reply to it. Don't like being ignored.

Advent calenders DO NOT WORK WITH IPADS. They don't tell you that until the people who received them say they can't open it up. Then when I said good customer service would be to refund my whole order, not just the calenders that went to people who said they had IPads, they cancelled my entire order, so that everyone I sent them to lost their calendars. When I complained I wanted my membership refunded because of their atrocious customer service, they said fine. NO ONE ADDRESSES ISSUES THEY JUST REFUND MONEY TO STAY LEGAL!! The absolute biggest rip off on the internet. Should be 0 stars, but it won't let me!

I don't know why I did it again this year. The fault really is mine. My friend is going through chemo and I saw the jacquie Lawson advent calendar and thought it would amuse her. I bought one for me too. Guess what, it is impossible to open. Just like last years. And you cannot contact anyone unless, as they suggest, you want to snail mail. An internet card company that doesn't use the internet. I hate it so much. I will cancel my subscription although I think they have already billed me two years out. HATE. They should make it clear that there is no support for the product that does not work.

I have ordered the calendar for myself, friends and family for the past 3 years but find that for the past 2 years I have had problems downloading and opening it. Last year I managed, with the help of a friend to overcome the problem, but so far after 3 help messages and 2 pointless generated replies I still cant open this years. I am awaiting yet another response to yet another request for help after which I am going to give up, life's just too short and I shan't be ordering any more. A shame really as we all enjoy them. Its not the calendar or cards that is bad but the customer care.

I am totally frustrated with lack of customer service. I would never have believed it if I hadn't experienced it myself. What a shame for such a nice service. I've exhausted all my resources trying and will have to quit, which is out of character for me.

I 'm totally frustrated of the service ,48 hours is due just a simple request of a changed to a new email address. My old email address is inaccesible. Paid for 2 years ad now I cannot even access my account. Beautiful cards but very poor service . Tried going to my details but it does not open. Help.

I have sent numerous cards to my grandson and when I did not hear from him I confronted his mother as to why the 4 yr old has never responded. She said that they were not received. They were sent to her email address. Since the company does not have a phone, I emailed them. I never heard back. I will never use them again.

Rating = applies to the Cards, not to download of Circus which as of now is no stars since App will not download. Numerous attempts to install Circus & response from JacLaw HELP, same reply approach each time, just with different wording. Informed via error message from JacLaw Circus to adjust Safari Security, but adjust what ? All Adobe Flash/Air software current

I was given notice of renewal on 4 July 2014 for a renewal date of November 2014. I took no action, given it was four months away. One week later Jacquie Lawson took the money from my card! Her company has not responded to my email and I shall dispute the payment through my card company. I have tried to find a telephone number to speak to a person - but no luck. Needless to say I shall not be renewing, and I shall spread the word of the poor customer service provided by this company.

Like the other Reviews I can not send any cards as they want me to change my password, but I have never recived the email to be able to do it. With no contact except to email, which I have done twice they have not responded. I still have 18 months left and can't send any cards. Does any one know how we can get in touch with this company.

I have written many times to try to solve a problem and I get either no response or one that does not address my issues. I will not renew when my year of membership is up.

I paid for 2 years my contract expires Jan 2016 to email unlimited e-cards. After a few months I got an email saying they are changing my password and will send a link. They never sent the link, I have emailed them MANY times they do not respond they do not have a phone number. So basically I was ripped off.

This company took my money on the 9th April. I have yet to send a card. They fail to recognise my e-mail. Fail to contact me. The automated reply is annoying as they do not follow up ANY enquiries. How can anyone communicate with this company? It is annoying as I love receiving the cards.

That happened to me too - they don't have a phone number, Im in the US they are in the UK I have no way to contact them other then my 14 emails I sent without a response! If ANYONE finds out how to contact them please post it!
I have a feeling there are other websites in UK that has same complaints they are an unethical business. They know when you pay via pay pal you cant get a refund unless you dispute it within 45 days so they intentionally do this to you after the 45 day period!

IF you file a complaint, they take action it is for poor internet practices- this certainly is one I just filed a complaint-with enough of them Im sure action will be taken and we can either get a refund or use the service

Tried to log on and received msg that I needed to change my password and that an email wld be sent to me within 1 hour. Days later and I am still waiting. I emailed the company and again, days later, no response. Is this site dodgy?

I have the same exact problem. I've been waiting a week for new password information. In the meantime, I'm locked out and can't send cards. Is this a legitimate business?

Me too! In the US we have a BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU which started in 1912 to protect consumers on fraud like this, they give you a rating- so many complained in the US they have an F rating. Is there such a bureau in the UK?

I have had exactly the same problem with them. They have no customer service at all and no easy way of cancelling your account.
