“Do Not Order From These People”

Been waiting 8 weeks since order was placed and still no goods received. Countless telephone calls to them chasing up the order - responses vary from, "we'll call you back", "goods are awaiting the courier", "our system is down at the moment" All Lies Do not order from these people!

They were fantastic from start to finish. I cannot fault the range or quality of the products they offer. The delivery was prompt and the customer support team answered any questions I had prior to placing in a timely and polite manner. Delivery was on time and I got a text to confirm my time slot. “Waiting waiting waiting”

Waiting a week for delivery no delivery date been given even though I was assured it would be delivered within 3 to 5 days rang the company passed to an O2 mobile that went to voicemail still no reply I am beginning to wonder.

“Worst Customer Service”

Quite simply, ordered a shelving unit on October 22nd, item still hasn't arrived, was told the package was lost or the labels fell off (believe that if you will) and that it would be delivered on 26th November. 3 days later, still nothing and the Customer Service Manager telling me I can't have a refund. That's the way to run a business for sure! :)

“Never Arrives, false prmoises”

Ordered a desk on a 10 day delivery time which was fine for my purposes. The desk failed to arrive so I contacted them after 15 days as it had now become urgent only to be told the machine that makes the tops had broken down. and I have to wait another 3 weeks. I told them this was really not acceptable but was given assurance is would be delivered ASAP. I then contacted them again to find out if it was still on track for delivery to be told it would be here the following week so now another extra week. Guess what its now Friday and it has still not arrived, I rang them and today I have been told they are closed for a staff training day, more likely the boss has closed for the bank holiday and is off spending his customers money which they took the day I ordered. I wish I had read other peoples reviews first. This is the last time I will ever use this company, stay away.

“Don't use unless you're prepared to wait”

Quite honestly, this is the worst buying experience I have had in my 32 years of office management. I contacted this company on 12 July about supplying over 2k worth of furniture by early August. Desks for 5 people. They wanted 30% up front, which we don't usually do, but the promise of delivery and installation in 7 – 10 days made me ask head office to do this especially. I chose Office Reality exactly for that reason…… the website screams/flashes free delivery and install in 7 – 10 days. Placed the order and waited. After much prompting from me, promises were made of delivery dates, but none were kept. On Sept 1st they tried to deliver part of the order (1 desk) to the wrong address, 200 miles away. They hadn't read the order correctly, or noticed the address beneath my signature on the many emails we exchanged during this time. That desk went God knows where when it was refused at the wrong address, but landed here on September 12th. The other 4 desks, they told me via email nearly 2 months after I'd placed the order, was flat pack! I made a fuss, and they agreed, because of the mistakes made on this order, that they would install…….. BUT they hadn't got it yet...it's coming from somewhere else! And it meant I couldn’t have the desk which was sent to the wrong address, expedited to get to me before the end of the following week……… Meanwhile, I have 5 people here, still without desks, weeks after promised delivery and installation. Eventually, the 4 desk bundle delivery arrived on September 7th...only to find that the installers only had 2 of the 4 desks on board. The paper work was right, but they don’t have the correct amount of desks or the screens. 'Where are the other 2 desks and screens I ordered' I ask the Customer Services manager! ‘Oh, it will be next week now’ he casually tells me. Finally got the last of the order today 14th September! I cannot tell you how frustrating this purchase has been. And to top it all, the 4 desk bundle is not great quality. So so disappointed and fed up of being shouted at here for choosing this supplier. The staff weren't rude to me, but they tried to pass some of the blame for their bad service on me....'we never offer installation on that range' etc.... Well, if your sales team had said that, I'd have paid you the extra for installation! They promise things they can't deliver. Don’t believe their 7 – 10 days promise. You are looking at 2 months + judging by my experience. I had to deal with 2 different furniture suppliers and 2 installation teams (who were excellent, by the way) on this order, due to the mistakes made by Office Reality, and I never expected to have this hassle. It was a nightmare. I can’t tell you how many times they said to me ‘we completely understand your frustration’…… and I see they use this phrase a lot on here in their replies to reviews. Never will order from them again and wouldn’t recommend them at all. Wish I’d read all of the reviews on here and not just the good ones.

“Avoid at all costs”

Bought a chair which was supposed to be on a 48 hour delivery, after not arriving I had to make several phone calls to be told it would be delivered the next day. The next day it did not arrive and I was told the wrong address was entered. I would then have to wait an additional four days for another chair. I then asked for a refund which has taken over a week for them to process Terrible company

Same as many other reviews here, Excuses regarding delivery dates not being honoured. Supposed to be next day but not arrived yet. If given the option I would have given no stars. I hate being let down which I have been by this lot!

“Don't waste your time and money on these cowboys”

I ordered and paid for a pair of stools from Onlinereality and had nothing but grief trying to get the order fulfilled. Firstly (a week after my order) I had an email saying they could no longer provide the stools I'd ordered and paid for and "did I want a replacement set?" I agreed the replacements were OK and they said they'd send them. Numerous emails, promises but no delivery of my stools later they then decided they could no longer supply the replacements either. This was now 1 month after my original order and all I got to show for the hassle and messing about was a virus infected email with a halfhearted apology and a refund (not immediately but 2 days later!!). In summary I'd suggest this is a tinpot operation run out of someone's back room that just act as middlemen and stock nothing themselves. They are quite happy messing you about and have no clue what they're doing. I did get my money back but only after 1 month of messing about and I find this totally unacceptable. Order at your own risk but I'd suggest a more reputable company myself.

I used Office Reality after finding them online for one of my customers, the help I had from all members of staff was second to none. My customer was extremely happy with both the product and the way the removal and installation teams conducted themselves onsite, they found a way to work around my customers 24/7 set up and got the job done with minimal fuss! I am really pleased and will definitely use them again.

I called Office Reality because I was let down by another furniture company on a delivery of a boardroom table and chairs. They were very helpful in making suggestions and had a couple of options to choose from. My biggest worry was getting everything there on time, but they made sure everything was due to arrivein order to give us ample time to set it all up before our meeting. I was very pleased that it did all arrive on time and the furniture looked fantastic! Would definitely recommend and will be using again!

“Terrible Customer Service”

Bought a sofa off OfficeReality which I feel was very poor quality (LE CORBUSIER LEATHER SOFA 3 SEATER), very uncomfortable, quality of the leather feels more plastic than leather. The company are charging £317.88 to return the sofa on a product that cost £698.00. Complete rip off and the company are hiding behind their suppliers terms. This could of been handled much better by the company and I believe their Customer service needs customer service training! Think twice when purchasing this Sofa from OfficeReality!!!

“Inadequate and disorganised, avoid this company!”

Service generally haphazard with inadequate stock monitoring and poor communications. The initial email after the order was placed quoted “We have created an account for you to allow you to track the progress of your order through our website should you wish to; please find your login details below”. However it is not possible to track an order from their website – the only options are to email or phone the company. A single order of four items resulted in three separate deliveries, so I do not think that these items are being dispatched by Office Reality – they appear just to be ordering from other firms and this would explain why items are unavailable when listed as in stock on their website. Amongst the items that I ordered was a table that should have taken two days to deliver – I phoned them late on the second day to check on the status of the order only to be told that the colour requested was out of stock and I would have to choose a different colour, and then of course to wait two more days for delivery. On the expected delivery date I phoned them to ascertain the status of the order and was told that they would call me back with this info. This call never came, but the goods did arrive. I also noted that the package included in large text not to sign for this item until the goods have been examined. This is quite impossible as it can take a substantial amount of time to check that the goods are perfect, and no delivery driver would be prepared to wait as they are tied to a tight timetable. I signed for these goods as having being delivered, but their appeared to be no option for signing for “delivered but not examined”. This problem was even more difficult for me as the items were for an allotment site which did not have a delivery address and so were delivered to my home address. To avoid any damage the items remained in their original packaging for the transfer to the allotment site and thus were not examined until late in the day when it was obvious that the table had some damage to the corners. I would assume that the item was perfect when dispatched so this is probably due to damage in transit which would not have occurred if the packaging had been adequate. I have not yet contacted the company with the details of this damage. I will update this site with their response to this problem.

“Decent products, terrible service/delays and delivery...”

We used this company for our office move, spending a substantial amount with them. Despite them giving us a time scale, 3 important products arrived a week late (2 weeks after their suggested/promised time scale). They would then only deliver to ground floor (our office is floor 1, though there is a giant lift, so it shouldn't have been difficult). They said it cost £150 to bring 3 filling cabinets up 1 floor. (and were quite rude about it). We liked most of the products, but I think we would be unlikely to risk it with them again, due to timescales and having to find our own way to get goods up the stairs. (they left them in the building next door in the end, which is then even harder to bring things from). I would have liked a genuine timescale from the start and to have been told it was gf only, as I wouldn't have used them if so. (being a work force of ladies, unable to carry heavy things).
