I made a reservation to leave my car at Holiday Inn Norwich Airport at a cost of £41.60 for one and a half days. On arrival at Norwich Airport Holiday Inn I was told I had to go to another Holiday Inn some distance away from the airport. By the time I had parked my car and waited 20 minutes for a taxi I very nearly missed my flight which fortunately was late. Holidayxtras.com sent me the parking details almost three hours after my flight departed. This company does not care two hoots about its customers. Avoid at all costs. If you need to park at |Norwich Airport go to the Holiday Inn at the Airport which is not only far more convenient but a lot cheaper too.

“Booked the Meet and Greet parking at Stansted through...”

Booked the Meet and Greet parking at Stansted through Holiday Extras. Arrived at 7am to find no booking had been made in my name. Tried to call them but they didn't open until 8am so I had to pay to park again - had a plane to catch! Finally got through to them and was told they couldn't refund my parking - I would have to email Customer Relations. Have now emailed them twice but they have not responded - 4 days later. It's theft basically - don't go near them!

“Booking free if you find it cheaper within 24 hours”

What a load of rubbish, book for free if you find it for cheaper within 24 hours. They will not honour this and reading reviews from other sites must have been made to book through this company, that have been part of a Rip of Briton. Looking on their website they have 5 star reviews, but you can't submitted a review, so who is writing theses reviews. Funny how there is no negative ones on there.

“Disgusting service, and customer service ...”

We booked a VIP experience in Birmingham Airport at the 'No.1 Lounge' before our flight, unfortunately Ryanair did not let us board for 1 hour before our flight so we were very limited on time. On reaching the VIP lounge, we were met with a Coffee machine that took 20 minutes to fix, on complaining after the Holiday I've just been told you could of got coffee from the bar "excuse me but I went there to tell me about the machine" and they never once mentioned that I could of got coffees from the bar!!! we asked for bacon rolls however they had finished 10 minutes ago, and we were offered soup WITH NO BREAD ROLLS!! SORRY BUT BREAD STICKS JUST DON'T CUT IT!!. This was NOT a VIP experience, trust me I know, I've had a few and attention to detail is paid and YOU ARE made to feel special... We felt like we were in the way, and the follow up to this terrible service as been basically just as expected 'BAD'!!

“Highly dangerous company”

These people have even been on a famous TV show in UK called Ripoff Britain. Very dangerous company, drive a mile around them. Do not have anything to do with this company. We have had to pay twice for not using their service due to events we could not control such as car which broke down. Completely uncivilised behaviour from them. They use their terms and conditions against customers so they can rip us off as much as possible.

“If you find it cheaper you can have it for free”

Booked Car Parking then found it cheaper on another Holiday Extras website due to more discount. Informed Holiday Extras sending all details but apparently this does not count as cheaper although they refunded difference for lower price. Being a regular customer using them at least twice a year they have now gone done in my estimation and trust for them and I certainly will look elsewhere in the future. Needles to say I would not recommend them.

“Rip-OFF!”

I am an O2 priority discounts member and NHS staff - Holiday Extras's offer a 16% and 30% discount to these respectively. Both prices are the same however and In fact more expensive than booking with the hotel/lounge/parking compang directly! I spoke with their 'online help' and they kindly informed me they did not know how their discounts were calculated and they used an online discounts system. Very helpful - NOT. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

“Do Not Use”

I made four bookings for car parking at Southend. On the first booking the number plate recognition worked on entry but not on return. On each subsequent booking it failed and I had to press the intercom and wait ages to be answered. Then they need all the references which of course I didn't have to hand first time round. The guy on the intercom said Holiday Extras had cancelled all the bookings. Anyway long story short - I have waited over 20 days to get a response from Holiday extras [they are too busy to respond apparently]. I now arrive at airport parking, take a ticket to get in and when I leave I press the intercom and give booking ref to get out so that I don't have to pay for the ticket. Last time the guy said my booking exists but system can't do multiple bookings. Hey ho. Will NEVER book through these guys again as not worth the hassle at barrier

“Changing booking for parking”

Just noticed the wrong return dates on my parking was a week after i should arrive home, tried to amend and was charged an extra £2.50 ....what for a weeks less parking!! Told the rates had changed since original booking and stansted would still charge their company, not my problem could have kept quiet and just returned home earlier as planned they would have no idea and I WOULDNT BE OUT OF POCKET..... Outrageous never use again ..this cant be right

false description it's not that close at all, paid over the odds should have booked meet and greet, expect.5 mins to be just that, I wanted walking distance this is not. Will never use again had to wait for a bus which the. Takes about 5-10 mins transfer The car parks at the back of the airport .

“Dreadful Purple Parking Business”

I booked Purple Parking Business through Holiday Extras. Holiday Extras have always been really helpful and efficient and I will definitely be using them again. However I will not be booking Purple Parking Business at Heathrow ever again. Having phoned, as per instructions, as soon as we exited Customs we went straight to the number 22 bus stop at Terminal 3. We found some people already waiting for Purple Parking Business and they had already been waiting for some time. They said that 2 ordinary Purple Parking buses had already picked up at the stop and within a couple of minutes another one arrived. However they will not take Business passengers. The bus stayed at the stop for a long time and we saw 2 Purple Parking Business buses drive past without stopping. I did ask the driver if he thought the Business bus would not stop while his own bus was there but he just shrugged. Eventually he drove off and we waited, and waited, and waited. After over half an hour a Business bus arrived. By then there were too many passengers to fit in. However we did manage to get a seat. When we arrived at the Purple Parking Business car park we had to wait in a queue whilst the car drivers in front of us checked in. Surely there should be a separate gate for the shuttle buses. After some time we managed to go through the barrier only to have to wait again whilst all the car keys were given out. Altogether it took about an hour from making the phone call to actually getting into our car. This is the worst service I've ever had for parking at Heathrow. Holiday Extras are great but they are being let down by Purple Parking Business.

I used Holidayextras to book parking at Liverpool Airport. It was £26.99 for 8 days. All went well until I tried to leave the car park . The ticket wouldn't work, so I spoke to security, who told me that I should have booked out the previous day, and I would have to pay £20 to leave. This was 1 am in the morning and I had to try to find the security office with my very tired young son. I assured him that He was wrong and showed me a copy of my booking form. He showed me the (incorrect) booking Holidayextras had made on his screen. He said this was a common occurrence with them. Holidayextras did not answer their phone. When I later spoke on the phone and explained the problem, they hung up. I also emailed their customer services, but they did not care.

“Drive fly luton booked via holiday extras ”

Scratched all the side of the car.despite noting it on collection, photographing as advised by driver and then emailing the following day they have sent some horrendous emails back and claim no liability , they state there was not adequate time to check when we picked up...... Helloooooo , we did check to your horror and document and photograph as told .....has this helped Hell NO !!! New car picked up from garage 2 days earlier with all scratches sorted and scrutinised so we KNEW there were no scratches on the rear of the car. The email is full of errors and has not understood the points made in my original complaint ! On reading other reviews this seems to be a comical company that provides sub standard customer services where you haven't got a leg to stand on ....don't risk it !!!

“Holiday Extras promise is a joke”

I booked airport parking with Holiday Extras through "Money Saving Expert" site.Afterwards I checked with the same site and found a competitor could do exactly the samee deal but cheaper. I contacted Holiday extras and was told that the other company offered a bigger discount therefore they were unable to honour the Free If promise stated clearly on their website. Thats the whols pint of this process..everyone offers different discounts including Holiday extras. Even an email to the CEO didnt work. Thet did offer to refund the difference in price as a good will gesture....confusing

“Don't match price promise”

Booked a space at Bristol Airport for 1 week, £32.39. Boasting to somebody that we had got a good price, they informed me that they had only paid £19.99, by booking it thought Thomsons. Rang them, I had to go & ask the person who had got it cheaper for their reference no etc.. Even after I had all that information there was no,promise they would match the price. I will never use them again they do not keep to their price promise

Hi, it is very unusual for us not to accept a Free If claim unless there was some differences that meant it was not exactly the same, such as different parking provider or cancellation conditions. Booked a five night car park at birmingham Airport (medium stay 1)for £51.99 with holiday extras.com and then discovered that booking direct with NCP was only £45.99. Phoned them next day with details and mailed NCP booking info and they accepted the claim and promised a return of the £51.99 when I pick my car up.

Having been misled as to official valet parking at Heathrow I booked until in the small print you have to wait for someone to bring your car back not collect at the official BAA area so it is not the same. I cancelled and then was charged a credit card fee of £4 and a cancellation fee of £9 despite this being only 12 hours later. British airways should not be allowing this company to act as representative for some of the products sold on its website. I then booked through BAA where it is a better service and was much less in price as well!

“No such bargains”

I booked an airport parking with Holiday Extras a month for a week of parking at the Birmingham Airport in October. I was quoted for £55.34 for the parking and I thought it was the best deal Holiday Extras could offer me. So I went ahead, booked and paid for the parking. Yesterday, out of the blue, I received some emails from some discounts websites offering deals for airport parkings. So I was curious to see how much I have saved by booking the airport parking a month earlier. I went back to the Holiday Extras website and typed in the same information for the airport parking. When the website gave me a list of options for the parking, I was rather annoyed and shocked to see the parking that I paid for a month ago has become £7 cheaper now. I just couldn’t work out how this happened. The parking charge was supposed to be more expensive when it got closer to the due date. But in this occasion, the parking is more expensive to book sooner than later. I contacted Holiday Extras to express my frustration. I was told very briefly by Holiday Extras that the parking charge changes in daily basis (which I can understand), but I didn’t get an explanation of why the parking charge has become cheaper now than 4 weeks ago. Basically, what is the point to book a parking earlier if I can get a cheaper deal later? I told Holiday Extras that it was the first time I booked a parking with them, and I will not book with them again in the future. So, while Holiday Extras advertises its service as ‘hassle-free’ and gives ‘huge savings’, there is NO such savings after all! Don’t bother to use these people, be warned and be aware!!

“Not the cheapest”

I booked my airport parking at Belfast International airport with holidayextras thinking it was the cheapest. BCP with an extra 10% came in cheaper. Holiday extras did not recognize this lower price as part of their 'Free IF' (free if you find cheaper).Then when I went to cancel the holiday extras parking they were going to charge me £9.99 administration fee. They do at the time give you the option of paying £1 extra for a cancellations fee but why should cancelling something cost. What about the cooling off period?? Not happy and wanted to let others know before they get caught out.

“OK, just the catch”

Forget about their catch about getting it for free, if you will find a car park cheaper. I found cheaper parking (with better transfer times and reviews), but they said no, it's not exactly the same offer. In my opinion they use catches for getting customers and that's not really my cup of tea. I know what they do may be legal, but not nice.
