I find Printer Inks staff very helpful, if I have any issues they always respond quickly. They are also fair and act in the customer's best interests (I had an issue where there was confusion about what I had ordered, this could well have been down to fault at my end but no issue was taken and the priority was to sort things out

“FAULTY CARTRIDGE NOT REPLACED”

Since 18th August, 23I have been waiting for replacement Magenta cartridge as it was faulty, today is 19th Sept 23 and still not received it. Now PrinterInk have blocked me on their live chat, do not answer my calls and my emails. This is so disappointing and what kind of customer service PrinterInk are providing. I will wait for a couple more days to receive the cartridge and if I did not receive it by Monday. I will contact my credit card company, Financial Ombudsman Services and The Resolver to help us sort this problem. These cartridges are expensive, we are retired people and cannot afford to lose our money. I have kept a copy of our chats and email confirmation from Karim promising to replace the cartridge which I can send to these companies. I would appreciate your help.

“Faulty product and empty multiple promises of refund ”

On 19 July I purchased two Brother MFC-7640DN compatible drums and two compatible cartridges. Either the drums or the cartridges are faulty: every page that is printed emerges with smudges (a horizontal line on the left and spotting on the right). I brought this to the attention of Printer Inks and was contacted by phone and promised a refund. This was appreciated, but no action followed. When I phoned Printer Inks and spoke to somebody else, they said they would send me an email and I would get a refund on sending in scans of the smudging. I waited, ready to submit the scans, but an email is still forthcoming. So I phoned again, and spoke to a third person, who gave me some advice on trying to clean the machine (I had already done so but followed the instructions, to no effect). She then said she was going to action a refund for the two catridges, amounting to some £52, and I could then purchase an original Brother cartridge to see whether the smudging continued, in which case it was the drum that was at fault and I would get a refund for this too. The refund for the cartridges would take between 5-10 working days to come through. This was on 21 August. Ten days have elapsed and there is no sign of a refund in my account. The inevitable conclusion of this long saga is that it appears to be company policy to feign to address customer complaints by promising refunds that never materialise, presumably because they are never actioned, in the hope that customers will give up eventually. I would caution everybody about purchasing any products from this company.

“Brother Printer problem”

Having used Printerinks on many occasions I purchase a set of toners for my new Brother laser printer. I couldn't get the black toner to work. I contacted Printerinks and was offered advice, which I tried. The toner still didn't work. I contacted Printerinks again and was asked to return the toners freepost. I received a replacement set within two days. These worked fine, I thank Printerinks for their help and advice. As I said, I have used Printerinks on many occasions, their products have always been good quality and are much more cost effective than OEM products. I would have no problems in recommending them and will continue to use them.

DX Express claimed to have delivered a parcel from Printerink in a safe place I.e. a shed (which we don’t have!) I contacted Printerinks support and spoke to an advisor who acted immediately and emailed DX, they responded with a photo of the shed which was a neighbour sharing the same number house but a different address! Thanks to printerink the situation was resolved and I’ve got my parcel.

Although only a modest user of printer inks, I have been impressed by the ease of ordering and the speed of delivery. I had a problem recently when I changed to a new printer and the printer didn't accept that the newly installed cartridge was full of ink. I tried to resolve the matter by telephone but abandoned the call after waiting 30 minutes. I then submitted my problem by email and the problem was resolved quickly. I have awarded 4 stars because of the telephone wait.

As an older person not very techno savey I had not read 'compatable' and thought these cartridges were original. Initially horrified when some did not work. Once I got through to printerinks (the number on the bottom of the invoice doesn't work) they were very helpful and after a bit of time and effort got the cartridges to be compatable. Once contact was made emails were replied to speedily. Overall good service.

The member of staff was prompt in sending a suggestion to try to get my printer to accept the first black cartridge sent, and then prompt in arranging another cartridge to be sent when her suggestion didn't work. I let her know that the 2nd cartridge sent worked so I was very happy with her prompt and personal help. Her service was excellent.

Had a problem with a colour cartridge. Contacted customer service and was helped with trying to resolve the problem. Eventually a replacement cartridge was supplied but this did not solve the problem. (Printing only in black & white) Throughout the exercise my contact was very helpful and as a consequent my preferred supplier will be printer inks in the future. Fault traced to incorrect printer driver. Printer was an HP Office jet 3831.

“Five Star Ink Cartridges”

As a customer, firstly I was pleased with the cost of the ink. I duplicated my order. Received in good time. Unfortunately one of the cartridges didn’t comply. I rang customer services. Spoke to a member of staff, told me to put another cartridge in my printer to see if comparable . It worked perfectly. He proceeded to send me an email with instructions on how to return the faulty cartridge with the Freepost address. He will send a replacement. I was very happy with the overall service. I am sending the return today. I will certainly use and recommend Printerinks.
