its well plan, managed and executed. All items on itnary are covered. Hotesl and resturants are good. I took wonder of europe 10days tours. I think 4 days in Italy are too much because most of the places we covered in Italybased on on Roman Catholic. True fact is that 98% ON Indian know very little about thier history. Instead 4 days Italy they can add either 2 different country or add 2 days in Swisszerland and France. Tour Manager RK is very effeicent and knowledgeble person. He used the his experience and Desi Buddhi like early start to beat heat and crowd really make difference in finishing places in timely manner.

Dear Valued Client,

Thank you for taking the time to review your tour. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your tour, and had a lovely time with the tour manager.

As distances in Italy and Europe are vast it is difficult to add 2 other locations without increasing the number of days, hence we do have other tours which do satisfy your feedback.

Hope to see you again soon.

Kind Regards

“Had an amazing time with the most fantastic tour guide! ”

written by dxSloan1983 on 27/08/2018

We recently attended the 5 day Panoramic Europe experience with star tours and it was incredible! Our tour guide Jitendra or as us passengers referred to him as 'Jitu' was so kind, awesome, funny, charming, insightful, the list could go on forever! He truly was a contributing factor to what made the trip as amazing as it was. He felt as if he was a family member also. We really enjoyed how you're able to have many experiences such as going to Mount. Titlis, included in the pricing whereas if we had gone individually, we would have had to pay almost £300/Fr300 Swiss Fa as a trio. It really saves a lot of money yet you get to see so many things! The food was fine and most times highly satisfying, the hotels were amazing although Paris didn't have the best hotel, it was still adequate and comfortable to stay in for the night. I'd also like to mention that is very beneficial for non-English speakers as due to help of the lovely tour guide, you're conducted the ways to go places which would be much more difficult on your own. Switzerland was definitely the best visit yet and I believe that everyone should experience holidays with Star Tours as it provides insights of countries and you can decide for yourself which ones you fall in love with or not and decide to come back yourself or with them again for a full experience, therefore thanks to Star Tours, my family are considering on taking a trip to Switzerland in the near future! Many thanks and infinite amounts of appreciation for our tour guide Jitendra, 'Jitu', Ultimately would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family and already have!

It was wonderful experience with Star tours.Bus couch was ok.Food was great.Tour guide gave all important information in Hindi/English.Tour guide was friendly and involved all passengers in games.Hotels was also good n hygienic. Time given by tour guide for particular spot was enough.Though trip itself is of 5 days, there are many places to visit so you have to be quick and punctual.I would definitely recommend this tour. This tour gave me memories for lifetime.

“12 day Europe ”

★★★★☆

written by ArturoNoble32 on 24/08/2018

Just experienced 12 days of Europe .. Tour manager was good .. excellent time keeping and organising events and smooth check in and our driver is the best Coach driver we have ridden with on tours a lot is covered in short time .. could have been better if do less sight seeing and having half day to relax It’s extremeky hectic and tiring . It would have been nicer if done 3 or 4 sight seeing spot with more time than to do 5 to 6 spots and less time Food .. good however more variety in Indian food and more choices of vegetarian but not Indian food would be better too eg Italian or Mexican , bombay street food . Overall .. great experience as the crowd made the tour great

“Poor planning for Swiss tour ”

★★★☆☆

written by 41Putnam on 21/08/2018

I have been with Star tours for 3 times , chose 5 days days Swiss tour but it actually isn’t 5 days it’s 3 days tour. Journey started on Friday night @20:45 (so that’s considered as Day 1, this journey should have started Friday morning . Anyways it took us whole night and next day (Sat) we got to Black Forest at 12 o clock after everyone was restless. Then after spending couple of hours we embarked for Rines falls and took another 2 hours , spent couple of hours there and then rushed to hotel , so another 2 hours. (So 2 days gone like this , had we started on Friday morning this would have been done in first day and everyone would have got chance to sleep in hotel and wake up fresh) Then day 3 , 4 rushing whole days to cover attractions as these were only 2 full days we had , and on day 5 early morning left for London. So on day 3 , 4 we would get in hotel for 21 - 22 and have dinner by 23:00 then go to room , and wake up at 6 next morning. Everyone is exhausted and is aware of the fact that it’s not a 5 days tour , it’s 2 and half to 3 days tour . So please do start this tour in morning instead of night and then call it a full day Thanks

We were looking for Italy tour from Netherlands but found no Indian tour from here. As we stayed in UK we knew about Star tours, we contacted them and everything went smooth. Food, accomodation, places they covered were all perfect. Special thanks to our tour manager for his time management and planning as we got enough time to cover everything. Cheers to team Star Tours for their hard work! I would definitely recommend.

Excellent tour. Excellent food. Excellent guide. Excellent stay. I run a small manufacturing unit in Hyderabad, India. Me and my wife have travelled by 6 days Star Tours coach from London to Belgium, Rhine falls, Switzerland and Paris from 9th July 2018 to 15th July 2018. We are delighted with the tour. The travel, the tour guide Atul Sarve, bus driver Nasr were outstanding. We can never forget the details given by our tour guide Atul Sarve. Overall the tour, the food, the stay and the guides introduction to the places were all excellent. We shall be more than glad to travel with Star Tours in all our future travels. This was our first coach tour and using Star Tours. In addition, it was our first time visiting Europe, we had a great time and enjoyed very much. We met wonderful people and we all from different backgrounds and ages but we still had amazing time together felt like family. The tour was planned well and organised. We were given time to shop and take photos. The restaurants/hotel meals and the hotels we stayed at were good and different. All the sightseeings was breathtaking and loved the trip even though was very hot. My mum, sister and me would like to go on tour next time with Star tour and tour manager and the driver aka our pilot. They were both very fun and made the trip enjoyable it was entertaining. The coach was new therefore was comfortable and we was seated near the front therefore was sufficient space and amusing. The tour manager was knowledge and informative and gave us the best advised.

I along with my siblings attended Best of Europe with Disney from 4th August with Tour Manager. This was one of my best trip I had in my life. We covered 4 countries in span of 6 days and everything went smooth. The food ,hotels and other arrangements were amazing and more then my expectations. Everything on itinerary was covered. We got an opportunity to see very beautiful places that would not have been possible without Star tours effort. Both our Tour Manager and Driver were very warm and they made us feel like home.I would like to thank them both.I highly recommend Star tours Ltd

“DISABILITY UNFRIENDLY”

★★☆☆☆

written by Rosa24 on 17/08/2018

I went on 5 day tour in March this year. Before the start of travel I informed Star Tours that I had health problems and they should accommodate my needs. I have profound hearing loss and BPH which requires sudden visit to toilet. They failed to provide working toilet onboard the coach which resulted in urinary infection which nearly hospitalised me. I have complained about this over 6 weeks ago. No come back from them yet. I am scared to travel with them in future.

“UNORGANISED ”

★★★☆☆

written by Heathw356 on 17/08/2018

Day 1- Our tour manager made a bad impression from the beginning . Our flight was extremely early for no reason as well as it not providing any food or water in a 2 hr flight. Our tour manager wasted ample amount of time on the first day, it was appalling! Our tour itenary stated that we would be doing a lot on the first day however, we didn’t do anything except from stay at our hotel until 5:30, which we agreed to as he said we would be visiting a lot of things afterwards. Although, that wasn’t the case. The whole day we didn’t do anything that was on the itenary but just got told we would get free time in our hotel where we could do nothing. However, if some of our peers didn’t complain to startours straight away, we wouldn’t have been able to change our tour manager, which after that we got what we expected before booking this holiday. Furthermore, we were told that we would have a continental spanish dinner but instead we got a salad, chicken and chips, and a cup of fruit from breakfast. It should’ve been renamed to a school dinner rather than a continental spanish one!

My family and I recently went on the Switzerland by air tour with star tours. Having thoroughly enjoyed the Historic Scotland trip with the very lovely tour guide. Switzerland was beautiful and that was the only reason we somewhat enjoyed the tour. The tour guide we had was absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!! I am extremely shocked Star can employ this sort of person. A very lazy and rubbish guide, so many incidents there were issues on this tour. His lack of clarity on pickups, getting timings wrong, letting us get wet in the rain and couldn’t even be bothered to get out of the coach and walk us to where the coach was parked. Never even walking the group to the city centre or monuments in ANY of the locations. Just gave instructions FROM THE COACH to walk left/right from here and you will see things. How ridiculous!!!!! What is the point of a guide if I have to find monuments myself and use maps on my phone to get to the city centre. ABSOLUTEY APPALLED!!! My family at least has smartphones and could figure it out. We felt terrible for the elderly passengers and international passengers who were confused on where to go to see things and scared of this rude tour guide, so most came back early to the coach to prevent getting left behind. Other things such as he never introduced himself to the group properly, didn’t do any introductions for the group so the passengers didn’t get to know each other from the start, never put any music/movies we had to constantly ask him to, wouldn’t even turn around and look at the passengers when speaking to the group on the coach. HE SHOULD BE SACKED. Made everyone on the trip absolutely MISERABLE. Giving two stars only because the itinerary was good, in the short days we covered a lot and I felt we saw nearly all of Switzerland. Hotels we stayed in were nice and they provided a double and triple room next to each other so was useful for my family. Breakfast and dinner were alright but nothing special.

I had booked Star Tours to Scotland for my mom and my aunt. I wanted a tour where they would feel comfortable . Star Tours was recommended by many and I am happy that I chose it for them. The tour manager was excellent . They were sceptical travelling alone but when they returned their smile said it all. They met lot of people young and old and had lots of fun. “Itinerary changed and hotel not as described”

★★★☆☆

written by Punitgoyal1 on 16/08/2018

The itinerary was changed and we were not even informed of the changes till we boarded the bus. The itinerary for 4 day Scotland tour at the time of booking stated1 night at Glasgow, 1 night in Inverness and a night at Edinburgh. The actual tour was 3 nights at Glasgow. The tour description stated 3/4 star hotels. We were provided rooms at premier inn which is clearly not 3-4* category. So not worth the money we paid as the product differed majorly from what was described

A little naive & not so compassionate chat I have had with Pawan 20 mins ago. I responded to the survey after the chat which was not adequately designed to reflect the customers' views-could have wider choices on answers (don't know or other choices). A friend has travelled with you last week and I thought I could talk to you (live chat). Not easy - answers were polite but bold without compassion and a touch of 'have we now done?' Could have had a little more encouraging attitude. Not Pawan's fault at all, answers were polite. But your customer service policy and the training (the assistants) are to be looked at for improvements. The chat has discouraging effect on on me. I am open to criticism for my views but don't mind explaining if the company is willing.

We did a Panoramic Europe tour with Star tours (Booking Ref - 103575) recently and it was a fantastic experience. Star tours staff was very cooperative right from the time of booking, they resolved all our queries. My Parents were going to visit us from India - Star tour India helped them in documentation while applying for the VISA. We both opted for the VISA via star tours UK and was a swift experience - guided us with the process as guess what we came out of VISA office in less than 10 mins :) Tour was well planed and we driven by our tour manager Manager - Was a great host and provided all minute details about the places we visited, very cooperative, well designed the tour Driver - was great with his Driving We really enjoyed the tour. :) thanks Just one suggestion - It would be great if star tour could provide a box meal / dinner on the last day for the tourist who are going to their respective locations from London - Manchester, Leeds etc.

I am really concerned, I have booked with Star Tours 3 day Paris/Disneyland tour, I have specifically arranged this for my daughters birthday, I understand if they don't get the numbers, they will cancel at least 2 weeks in advance. My concern is 2 weeks is too short a notice to replan anything else, whilst I understand tours will be cancelled due to numbers, can they not give much of a longer notice ie 4-6 weeks?

Thanks for answering this question.

Check with them what is min seats they expect to confirm tour and what is the current number of confirmed bookings they received as of now for your given tour. This will give fair Idea if tour is likely to go or get cancelled. Most of time Star tours gets confirmed tours because lot of Indians tourists. In worst case if tour is cancelled you can book some local tours based in Paris there are lot and good deals.
Report this content PrasadBhat Written on: 24/05/2018
Yes as suggested in an answer below, check with the Star Tours on the numbers they have currently and how many is the minimum required for tour to go ahead. it is their policy to have a 2 week window as having a higher window for cancellation would mean risk of tours not being conducted as people might go for last minute bookings or something like that. Most of their Summer tours do not get cancelled as they have lot of confirmed bookings coming in. As an alternative you can check with local operators in Paris or i think Eurostar also have some combo offers (don't know for sure) you can check that too.

We are planning to go on 9-day Discover Europe Tour without Disney starting August 13. However, as of now there doesn't seem to be any other booking for this tour. We are concerned about last minute cancellation due to lack of enough passengers. We have to book other travel arrangements now but without the confidence of tour taking place for sure, it can be a problem just a couple of weeks before the date. Any advise? Is it too early for most people to book August tour?

Earlier the better as you get some discounts. August tours generally run quite full. So guess you can be assured about the tour. Try to give a call to them and ask for details. They give all the information that we ask for.
Report this content PrasadBhat Written on: 02/05/2018
It shouldn't be a problem as there will be bookings given that it is peak summer period so I believe it will go ahead. We have booked our 5th Sep tour on 14th Jun by paying part of the amount and balance was paid before 8th Aug as it is mandated to pay 1 month in advance the full amount, by then you will be able to know on the bookings and if the tour is cancelled by Star Tours they have a policy to refund the entire amount without deductions. If in worst case they do not have enough members for this particular tour then they may give an option of accommodating you in another similar tour.
Report this content Peter_Shaw Written on: 03/05/2018
We have chatted with them and they have been transparent about current status (that they have no other bookings). I guess, looking at both your responses though, it seems less likely to have the tour cancelled. However, the biggest thing is to book our flights from US and get vacation from work based on this only to find out two weeks in advance if the tour gets cancelled. I don't see that they have other tours planned on those dates that would be of our interest given that we have already visited Italy very recently and would like to cover Switzerland, France, Germany, Netherlands, etc.

There should not be any problem. All the tour managers speak many languages, English, Hindi, Gujarati. The tour managers are very helpful and especially if language is the issue then going in these type of tours is the best way to get the most of the joy of holiday. All the best. Hope this is helpful and your parents have a lovely holiday.

Hi, I don't think it should be a problem as long as they have adequate warm clothing. I'm sure it will be very beautiful in the winter. Just make sure to take very warm clothing - the bus rides should be fine as the busses have AC's however when visiting Mt Jungfrau etc. it was cold when we went in May so I'm sure will be very cold in December.

Hi , I don't think, it would much of problem, as they provide good hotels to stay, good food (Indian), and nice bus. It is advisable to carry warm clothes with you. There were 3-4 couple elderly couples with us in our trip (travelling alone)in March, and had enjoyed a lot. But good Clothing is must. Enjoy your Trip. Cheers!!!

Yes. It would be a great experience for them. All the tours are well organised and as along as you have proper winter-wear to keep you warm there should not be any problem. Above all especially during Xmas time the whole of Europe is very beautiful with amazing decorations. I am sure this will be an experience of the lifetime for them. Hope you all have a great time.

Hi I would recommend Star tours as their prices are comparable to tours from India. Plus put up their guests in good hotels and servce hot indian meals at all night stops. They cater for the NRI crowd, and therefore are discerning in their service.

Their services are good and they give priority to their clients and cater for all their need which ever is feasible and reachable. And if you are lucky to get Mr. Rayomand as a Tour Manager then you will be in the best hands. Go Ahead ... Have a nice and safe and memorable journey..

Travelling on your own in any City can open up more places of interest. Although Paris is safe, just like any other major city there are basic precautions you should take if travelling on your own, i.e. avoiding narrow dark streets, Pigalle area on your own (which is the red light district). As long as you stay on the main roads and stick the common areas, you should be absolutely fine.

I made our Euro tour with STAR TOURS UK. It was 12 day tour European Delight. The programme was well arranged with knowledgeable and expert Coach Captain. The Tour guide and administrator was Mr. Hoshang. Both of them made our trip memorable. The tour was well packaged with thoughtful itinerary. The place of stay in each night was four star accommodation. The food was well planned with no repetition in any course during the long 12 days. Indian as well local specialities. Pure vegetarian including Jain food whoever preferred. We fully enjoyed and after our trip three of close friends and relatives have availed of the services and endorsed our impressions. You can safely choose the tour plan amongst frm from 4days to 14 days of convenient dates. We went during September when the climate was pleasant at all places including Italy. KUPPUSWAMY A.R.

Star tours has got some excellent tour guide and Mr Hoshang Vevaina is one of the best. With him there would be NO trouble at all with any aged elders or any tour itinerary. If you want a short trip, Panoramic europe would be good for 5 days but if Italy is a choice-Treasure of europe will be great for 9 days. May would be lovely and you are supposed to get one trip by euro rail to Paris. One big problem is you will not have any idea who your tour manager is till you board the bus and it can be disappointing if the tour manager is not good.

End of May to mid of september... is a nice weather to go on in europe... especially with elders... There are special tours arranged by Star tours for elderly group... that would help as well... Season depends on which part of Europe you are planning to travel.. If middle to southern european countries then end of May to end of September is favorable (summer).... whole europe: end of June to Mid of sept is favorable... But beware this will be the peak season as well..

No. It wont be a great experience primarily because days will be short and if travelling is too much, you will have to see everything in the dark'night photography can be fun though--carry a tripod''. Switzerland can become too frosty. You will be frozen on the top tier of eiffel tower. I think--max end of october -early november--if you want to enjoy the cold weather.

If you are coming from US, then you may skip Disneyland as US version is much better than Paris. Coach is not equipped with wi-fi. Most of the hotels will provide wi-fi, but if one of them do not provide then be prepared for the same. Calling to US is very cheap if you buy local SIM card like Lyca or Lebara (Around 5 cents per minute). This is available everywhere so no need to get panic and buy from Airport.

Hi my name is Roshni Ray. Actually me and my husband are planning a trip (Glamours of Europe) with STAR TOURS in JULY and and wanted to get some feedback. Just had a couple of basic questions. 1) Do they give enough time at each location to go around and see the place or is it just passing through? 2) For food are there vegetarian options in the menu? 3) Does the tour manager give us free time to explore the place on our own or do we have to be with the group all the time? 4)If we want to try the local cuisine can we leave the group and go for lunch or dinner on our own or do we have to be with the group all the time?  I apologize in advance some questions are really silly but since I have never been with a conducted tour before that's why asking this. I would really appreciate if you could give me some feedback about your experience with star tours and help me make a decision. Thanks a ton in advance ROSHNI

1. Max 30 minutes may be given depending the circumstances 2.there is only veg food with rarely non veg food 3.You will not get any free time to explore on your own all the hotels will be atleast 20 miles outside the city. you will have to stick with the group 4.There is no option for u to have lunch on your own you will have to stick with the group
Report this content salmansidd Written on: 24/04/2014
Because u are in a group and you have lot of things to cover, it will be fast paced, but you will have plenty of time in important places. For vegetarians star tours is best, you get fresh cooked food all the time, but food will be monotonous at times. You will get 30- 40 mins at places as free time but you to stick to time. You need to eat with your group for lunch, but dinner you can eat with your group or you can go to other places if your hotel is nearby some locality, because most of the time it will be far off from the city, because u go to hotel for sleeping after full day of hectic schedule. Group tours are basically for those with families and if one wants to see a lot of thing in short time, because on your own you cannot cover so many countries in such short time. Just identify the best places of your liking and come back again later to spend time there in leisure.

I went for the coach package "Treasures of Europe" in Oct 2012. To answer your question. 1. It depends on the specific location which are just passing and most of other location, you will get time to have a good look around. 2. In my trip, Jain food, vegetarian food and non-vegetarian food were served. Non-veg was sparingly served but over all experience of the Indian food served was very good. 3. Most of the time, you have be with the group but occasionally we were provided time to be on our own as well. Please take note that this is a fast paced tour package and time is of greater essence at the economical affordability. 4. I am not sure, i didn't do it. I think they will allow you try but the local cuisine will be at your own expense provided it is near by the place where the bus stops for lunch or dinner and if you could come back in reasonable amount of time, please have a word with the tour manager who can tell you absolutely about it.. if you have more query, write to me and I will be glad to answer your question. My tour manager  kept the tour alive in a very interactive manner and gave good tips of what to buy & what not as well at every other locations.. Have fun & enjoy tour trip.. Regards
Report this content niel_shah Written on: 08/05/2014
1) They give enough time. However, its upto individual interest. So do a thorough study of each place and find out what interest you. Accordingly, spend time. 2) Vegeterian and even Jain options available. 3) The tours time are so packed that you will not get time to explore anything by your own. If you want to explore by your own, then you need to reach to hotel by your own which may turn to pretty expensive. Star tours cover most attractions and in Europe you can't cover all attractions in one tour. 4) You can skip lunch / dinner. Believe me, the food provided is excellent. And you will regret if you go for local food. Ask your tour manager and he will guide you for the best. Star tour is like tick mark that you have been to a tourist attraction. If you really want to spend more time and have relaxed tour then I would suggest do 2 countries at a time by your own. But if you just want to see places, running short of time and having food problem, then Star tour is the best.

Hello Mr Balraj. The answers to your questions are 1.Yes there will be coffeemakers 2.Travel time exact % not sure but it is quite a bit 3.Longest journey is to switzerland from germany(i have no idea about italy, austria and vatican since i was on a smaller tour) 4.Take around 2000 euros(i dont exactly remember how much will be needed) 5.Wi-Fi is present at all the hotel rooms. some need to be explicitly asked for and some have time limits.again i dont know about austria, italy and Switzerland 6.Most importantly clothing. take some jackets(light)like a hoodie or something;you would need them almost everywhere. for Mt Jungfrao and Titlis you need some heavy stuff like a big jacket and some gloves(very necessary for jungfrao) again i dont know about austria, italy and switzerland Enjoy your trip and happy holidays!!! hope i helped -Aravind

Hi, it's going to be cold weather in Europe during April so warm clothes would be highly recommended; especially in Switzerland. I would remind you to keep spare Umbrella as well for snow or rain. Some hotels do provide Tea kettle or Coffee machine but again its not necessary that you always find that.. Hope this will help you.. Have a great holidays !!
Report this content brijesh218 Written on: 16/04/2014
Just one jacket is sufficient if you are travelling in summer
Report this content salmansidd Written on: 16/04/2014
In April you definitely require warm clothing, we went in June and still we required warm clothes, particularly in Switzerland where it will be freezing cold. You can check the weather on Accuweather.com. you may find electric kettle and coffee maker in some hotels not in all. Acc. to European rules driver cannot drive for more than 8 hrs, and they are very strict with that, so maximum of 8 hrs drive per day. I think longest journey was from Italy back to Geneva, on the way to Paris. Keep.Keep some cash may be around 200 euros /head plus credit or debit card, cards accepted everywhere.everywhere. WiFi is usually there in all the hotels, but signal some times depends on the location of your room.Enjoy your trip and have a vacation.
