The bed shop - total disgrace ordered a bed end of december, told delivery end of jan, then mid - late feb, then end of march tried to negotiate with them for positive outcome by changing order but still nothing, just kept making false promises. I was told they would be delivered 30.03.09 nothing tunred up, on 1 april when i wrote i was told that was the day beds turned up in country. on 7 april when i asked again i was told they delivered on 30.03.09. They obviously do not know what they are doing and i also believe they were trying to pull a fast one! DO NOT BUY FROM THE BED SHOP - THE BED SHOP are a total disgrace!

Terrible customer service. The Bed Shop guaranteed 14 days delivery...6 weeks on and still nothing. Rude person on the phone, no replies to email. I've demanded a full refund. They are a disgrace to Internet shopping and makes me distrust the small companies, which is a shame!

I ordered a bed in february this year and was told that the delivery would be approx 2 weeks, 21 days at the most. 2 months later and as yet, no bed and no communication from the company . I emailed complaining that they falsely advertise their delivery times only to be told my bed was not actually in stock. I would then have to wait yet agan another month for my bed. I decided to cancel and expected them to genuinely apologise for the problems they had caused me - instead I just got a cancelation email from them. I would never ever use this company again.

Placed an order with The Bed Shop, it was quickly confirmed that the goods will arrive in 2 - 3 weeks. I waited 4 weeks tried to contact them by phone on numerous occasions. When I finally did get to talk to some one they seemed vague, uninterested & would not commit to a date or give me any reason for the delay.
I sent an email asking them to please let me know what was going on as I had been waiting for 5 weeks & was originally quoted 2 - 3 weeks. My reply stating the following - "we have some of the shortest lead times in their industry so please do not contact us for an update again". So obviously I cancelled my order which I only recevied a refund because I made a complaint via paypal. I would never order from this company again, in my opinion, they have no idea what customer service is.

The Bed Shop sent me e-mails when each item came in stock & to notify of delivery.
Responded promptly to any e-mails I sent.
Took about 3 more days to arrive than the (already quite long) 21 working days originally quoted.
To save a lot of repetition:
My experience was exactly the same as the one described by "Guest" on 11th Feb 2009.

We ordered bed from Bed Shop and should be delivered within 14 days. Time gone and no bed. We started to call them and each time answer was that bed will be next Monday. After 3 weeks waiting our patience had gone so we emailed them we want to cancel everything. We couldn't seem to get an answer so we contacted bank to block payment. After week bank cancelled that payment. Bed shop didn't contacted us since and we hope they won't.

We ordered bunks in Nov 2008 to apparently be delivered within 21 days. They didn't show up so we tried to get in touch by phone unsuccessfully, and then by email. Received a prompt email response telling us that the bed would be guaranteed by Christmas. Again, no show in Dec, and no call or email to notify us of the delay. Managed to get in touch by phone and were told that the beds would arrive by end of January. We were told we could cancel at any time. In mid February we have finally given up waiting and were told that the manufacturer Joseph International haven't been able to meet the high demand for these bunk beds, despite our order being placed in Nov. Ours was one of the back orders that didn't get delivered. We cancelled the order yesterday, - we got a call from Joseph today saying our beds are ready to be delivered! Luckily for me I just found the same bed on another website IN STOCK and available with free next day delivery and am expecting them tomorrow morning! Needless to say I didn't accept the offer of delivery through the-Bed-Shop.Com as I no longer trust them. I just hope we get our money back without any fuss.

I ordered my bed from the bedshop and then read some of the bad reviews on here so I was quite worried.
I have had no problem with my order - was about 2 days longer than the lead time I was given but good communication - I emailed once to ask when it would arrive and they answered promptly. Delivery was well organised and arrived exactly when they said it would. Item was just as described and all bits were there with absolutely no damage or anything on the item.
Obviously not of the highest quality (what do you expect from the price, I did go for a cheap frame) but good quality and good building instructions.
I would happily recommend the bed shop to anyone else

Perfect online shopping experience with the Bed Shop! Speedy delivery and on time, they even gave me a 2 hour time slot and call an hour before they arrived. I couldn't believe how cheap the prices were.

Ordered a bed on friday from The Bed Shop. on Monday i had my bank card declined at a petrol station so i went to the bank to discover that i had been overcharged. i have now sent four emails and i have had no response yet, many phone calls where i am told i cant speak to anyone in the accounts department i need to email them and that there is no manager or supervisor available. the bed is getting delivered tommorrow and it had better be in tip top condition or i will be so disapointed.

Ordered a bed from them which took two months to arrive. I was told the delivery team would phone to arrange delivery time in advance, this phone call about 9pm the day before they wanted to deliver it! It arrived 7am and the delivery team seemed in a rush to get off.
The item is damaged and the company are not willing to offer a refund.

The Bed Shop. Wow, what a difference the service I received compared to their testimonials. Also found they have another website remy furniture which has the same testimonials.
After chasing delivery for 3 months eventually got told item out of stock. Either choose another or pay a fee to cancel. Why should I pay a fee because they can't deliver what I wanted. I didn't want to choose another item.
I wondered why they were so cheap. Obviously the saying is true, you pay for quality and service, wish I'd paid more and got the better service and actually received my bed.

I ordered the wrong sized bed but it was changed without any problems. E-mail communication was excellent and delivery guys were friendly and phoned 30 mins before delivery. Not always easy to get through to by phone but was not a problem due to good E-mail communication. Would use again.

Items I ordered from The Bed Shop were not in stock when stated, I felt they did not stick to the guarantees offered. When my items did arrive they looked as though they had been been battered about. Partial delivery of order - (bed without mattress) Disappointing customer communication. I feel I am unlikely to get any refund.
After the standard of service I feel they have provided to me, yet another example of you get what you pay for - I would advise to go somewhere else and pay more.

The company have been difficult to get hold of, didn't answer my first email, it took 2 days to get hold of them by phone. The first person I spoke to initially told me that it would be about £25 to return the bed, but it wouldn't cost anything if we bought another. I was asked to call back. When they eventually replied to my email, I was told that was incorrect and would only accept the bed back if we paid £80 to return it! We offered to drive it back to the premises and give back the goods as received but they still wanted £40 for the privilege.
Wouldn't by anything from them again. Ever!

When I placed a bed order the item was shown as in stock and with a 'lead time' of 14 days. However then came the first of a string of e-mails and excuses for literally failing to come up with the goods. The bed was in fact not in stock but I was told would be back in stock at the manufacturers by mid November and would be delivered direct from the manufacturers guaranteed within 14 days of being in stock and someone would call me to arrange delivery. I stated that I would confirm the order on condition that the bed was delivered by end of November at the latest, in time for my daughter's birthday. They took my money at this point. I then heard nothing again without chasing them. To be fair they replied to all my e-mails promptly however the information in the replies was inconsistent and contradictory. My daughter's birthday came and went and still no bed. I was then told it was in stock and someone would call this week to arrange delivery. No one called. I chased again by e-mail.(telephone was always engaged and ringback requests not accepted). I was sent an e-mail stating the bed had been dispatched. I said this was good news and would someone call me about delivery. No one called. I chased again and got a reply saying the bed was due to arrive with them in about 14 days and then they would arrange delivery! It was obvious by now that we would not even have the bed for Xmas. I replied asking that they review all previous correspondence, that the bed was supposed to be delivered direct from the manufacturer, guaranteed within 14 days of having stock so call me to arrange a delivery to this timescale as promised. If they could not come up with a satisfactory delivery date I would have to cancel the order due to their failure to comply with the terms of my original offer to purchase. Their reply was no surprise - they would refund my money. As I suspected they were making excuses and wasting my time while sitting on my money. My advice? Don't waste your time with this company.

We ordered a bed at the end of August as we were moving into our new house. The original frame we wanted was out of stock, so we were asked to re-select. Bit disappointing, but we ordered a different one. We then waited agggeess for delivery (I think around 3-4 weeks). When the bed was delivered, we opened it to assemble it and it was rusting, paintwork damaged and parts bent. So we contacted the company to try and cancel our order. We were told that they had checked their stocks and all the remaining beds in this model were fine so they would have a replacement with us by the end of the next week. Three weeks later we were still waiting. When our bed finally did arrive, we opened the replacement.... Exactly the same sort of damage to the frame, so we called them to cancel the order and get a refund. They were meant to come and collect the faulty beds yesterday, so I waited in all afternoon for a collection driver. No-one turned up. Apparently they cannot process the refund until they have collected the bed, but who knows when that will happen!
We've now ordered a bed from Tesco - ordered it last week, arriving today. Should have done that to start with!

The Bed shop Liverpool boasts quick delivery and excellent customer service. However in my experience this was not the case as far as I am concerned. I ordered a bed which they stated would be delivered within 2 - 3 weeks. I ordered the bed as my mother had died and my stepfather was coming on a visit once the estate was settled. The bed was ordered on the 05 02 08 and despite numerous requests, reminders etc. they still failed to deliver as far as I am aware. I threatened to cancel and they kept saying it was on route and eventually I did cancel. They then sent an e-mail stating that I had to accept the bed and tried to deliver. I was away and my son refused delivery. They have not refunded ANY of my money despite the fact that they did not try to deliver the bed until the last week of March as far as I am concerned.
I do not recommend the bed shot.com.
