Worse company i've ever worked for... Very rude on the phone... I was once on the way to work on my motorbike and was left the worst voice mail ever telling me i'm a d and a c for not answering my phone and was told to not turn up to my job despite me being half an hour early and being outside waiting for my shift to start... Rang the guy back who decided to give me abuse down the phone and when I told him I was on my motorbike and only just got to work half hour before my shift he wasn't that sympathetic instead he just hung up... I also had text messages from him at 6am telling me to get up despite me not starting work until 9am... Its basically them trying to control your life.... On top of that the places they sent me had other agency workers who were on 10 pound an hour night shifts and I was on minimum wage decided to walk out on the spot so regardless never work for this company as they will mess you about also they will not allow you to leave their company... I was trying to get money back for paying too much tax and needed to leave their company just to even get my money back since it showed myself as still working for this agency yet it had been over a year... I asked for my P45 and they told me its a P60 I needed... 5 phone calls later they refused to give me anything so had to ring up the tax office who finally managed to get the right paper work

the agency is ok and the Eastbourne branch has some good jobs available. you will only get min wage no matter what you are good at and that is that folks. office staff are approachable in the eb branch except a woman in there with initials TM. steer clear of her as she is bad news for the company because she is rude to you without guilt. too many operatives working on their books for them to really care about you so look out for that. deal only with the male folks in there so that you get continuity and a more human service.

This review concerns the staff at the recruitment agency - The Best Connection- Earls Court branch, London. When I went to sign up I guessed something wasn't quite right, lots of arrogant and loud staff. But anyway, I needed the work so went ahead. Within the first week, I experienced first-hand their disrespect and heir rudeness, they wouldn't even have common polite courtesy on the phone, they would be like; 'yes hello... whats your question'? no 'how are you'? no polite human conversation or politeness at all. They didn't treat me like a fellow human being. Intrusive behaviour also - wanting to know why I wasn't available to work on a particular day.. when I told them I wasn't available the text message in reply just read 'why'?. There was never a 'please' and only the occasional forced 'thank you'. And when you leave... good luck in getting a reference from them!!!, they wont put you through to the relevant team, the communication has to be by email, and they wont reply either. 'Modern day slavery' would sum this less-than human entities that recruit for best connection - more like 'worst connection'. I'm curious as to whether their staff have to possess these negative slave-driving and rude qualities or are they trained/indoctrinated into this type of culture? Also, I would be curious as to how they sleep at night with the rude behaviour they dish out all day to their agency staff? Still.... what goes around comes around... so best connection recruitment staff... your day will come!

"I applied for about 15 jobs over 3 days and I got a unknown number on my phone. I was thinking it was a job offer as i already had one so I rang the number in the afternoon when I was free. It ended up being these guys. I introduced myself and asked if the call was related to me applying for the jobs I have applied for as I have applied for a few recently. The young lady over the phone started signing me up. A bit taken a back at how aggressive she was I started giving my details and history she was very pushy. They must of got my mobile number from a CV i dont give it out alot but if so they had all my information there anyway.... I asked again if this was regarding a job offer she said "we going to need you to come in early in the morning tomorrow and sign you up". Never asked me if I was available or if I wanted too. I goes erm right but is this regarding a job offer how have you got my number you rang me earlier, your a agency right? She went dirty guts and said "Well I think it's best at this stage if we don't offer you work" I replied "erm... ok bye". This conversation happened 15 minutes ago. Funny thing is THEY RANG ME FIRST! What a strange company. Id avoid if possible. They don't seem to value you as a person, seem pushy and shady. Had no manners, judging by the reviews on here and if I had to guess based on their Hanley location too, they are a failing agency crawling the internet for more people to suck their wages off. Have some manners guys it's not hard, personally I will avoid for life." From google reviews ^^ I rang back out of courtesy as i was rang on my mobile out of the blue, she couldnt have a basic conversation, zero people skills and didnt expect to have a extremely rude and frankly bizarre conversation with a stuck up agency woman who treats people like trash. If i was you guys id find out who that person was and have a word really as shes driving your company into the ground with her great people skills. Sadly i arent a eastern european with broken english who cant type experiences with your company on google reviews but can give 1 stars like the others, dont worry though i will looking for more places to share my brutally honest experiences i have had with your company.

Everytime I've booked a holiday with this agency, they never(never) get your holidays right. I recently went on holiday and requested holidays weeks/months before to realise they've only paid me for 1 days. 1 day?!, how is this possible, do they have monkeys working at their offices?, no monkeys are more clever. It's not rocket science to look through bookings. Lack of communication with each other. Then when they know they're wrong, the famous line 'we'll add it to your next weeks wage' no that's wrong, to be taxed more for your mistake you utter ringpieces. Waste of time degenerates!

My partner worked for best connection broke his ankle late September 2016 they kept him on the books even tho he wasn't working as broken ankle now we can't Add him to my claim as they reholding evidence. Never go with this agency they will use you

Rubbish from Cardiff branch promise the world give u nothing and they ignore you

I called in to speak to Harrison at the Hanger Lane branch to request for work and after a few moments he hung up. I called back and spoke to a lady who also hung up shortly after without any form of explanation. What kind of inconsiderate do they have working there? They use you until they no longer need you so don't bother wasting your time with them.

I have had 3 jobs with this agency. And each job has been awful . The last place they put me was awful and the management was a bunch of idiots.This agency makes this crappy companies sound good Intel you get in their. They are not the best agency at all. And I wouldn't sign up with them if I knew they where like this. Just a waste of time . And I live in canada. Just goes to show you this company is bad all over the world.

The Best connections dudley branch. say they want to help you find a job. but do nothing to actually help you. There are jobs online that suit your needs but they say they are busy with other company. They lie by saying they will follow up on your behalf but never contact you. If they ever offer to ring you back they never do. I just hope companies stop using them for wasting their time too. I am disgusted. I can see jobs that suit me but cannot get in touch with them because The Best Connections are preventing it.

This is my 3rd week with them, my 1st weeks wages were wrong, they underpaid me and after a promise of the missing money being paid the following week they not only didn't hour their promise they underpaid me again. When you ring them the girl who does the wages has gone home, isn't in work today, is out of the office, any excuse they think they can get away with. Best Connection Scunthorpe you are a bunch of liars, I won't be working for you for a 4th week!

seen jobs advertised by best connection have applied straight away and have got the skills required for the jobs but never hear from them I don't think these jobs exist just a ploy to get people to register with them

I have signed up with The Best Connection in West Bromwich. Great friendly people who give you an honest answer when you speak to them. Found me a job at a cardboard company. They told straight away it is a long term temp job but with some hard work I will possibly get a full time job. I was given a full time job after 12 months always paid correct and on time. The 2 lads who looked after me always kept me up to date with things. They always new who I was when I came in without having to say who I was. Overall a good efficient team. Highly recommend.

Ipswich best connection branch really hopeless,they are advertising jobs they don't have as usual, it has been admitted to me they just want to get people in to boost numbers, when you do get offered work, it is not what you requested. as a class 1 hgv driver with many qualifications I have found it is best to join another agency , because in the last 6 months I have been offered just 8 days work! and the days I did work I didn't get the correct pay or the wrong amount of hours or both!.I did join another agency and in the last 6 weeks I have been offered more work than I can handle with more pay!they advertise work that is really there, not the lets get you in to register for work that's not there.if you are looking for work please don't bother with Ipswich best connection it says on here key elements you like .sorry i just cant find any.if you want regular class 1 work with correct pay inline with other companies avoid these people and keep your sanity .

Payment errors. Taking your money for their money spinning scam 'personal accident insurance', despite being told no, and then claiming you have to fill in a form to opt out of their illegally sold insurance product. When presented with a problem, often fail to get back to you, or attempt any resolution. Only with excessive badgering will they finally try and sort it. No interest in staff welfare or happiness, no follow up once placed, unaware of what you are working for their clients. Do not provide any of the info they claim on their website (e.g. full briefing prior to starting assignment), fail to provide important information about hours and enforced break during shutdown, and then try to claim 'well you should of known about that company having a shutdown because everyone does'. Generally a total waste of space. Worked for a number of agencies over the last twenty years, they are far and away the worst going. Avoid like the plague if you can. In fairness, the client they placed me with is great, and I'm being taken on by them (thankfully) - however most staff with the same client have been through the agency for years (and treated poorly the whole time with similar issues).
