I've always been more of a Richer Sounds guy than a Dixons kind of guy, and so in the same vein, Halfords is really a last resort for me. Fortunately, I stumbled across The Roof Box Company just when I needed a roof box. First of all, I really didn't know anything about roof racks or roof boxes, and their excellent buyers guides told me everything I needed to know, including all the main brands, even down to who actually manufactures the products! When you're going to spend hundreds of pounds, it's great to be informed. Thanks to their advice, I got the confidence to buy something a bit different from the standard Thule you see on every car roof, and I think I ended up with quite a bit more box for my money. Once I had decided what box to buy, it automatically offered to add the correct roof rack for my particular car, so I was never in any doubt that it would all work when it arrived. A few days later, the box and the rack arrived together, and in an hour or so it was all installed, ready to go, with no hiccups at all.

My order is due over the next two days but I felt it was worth a comment on the tremendous response I have received on a query via e-mail. Even though I haven’t got my product yet I am confident all will be good.

The Roof Box Company has excellent customer service. They took care of replacing a faulty bike rack without problems, even when this required shipping outside the UK, and went over and beyond to make sure there was no cost or effort involved on my end. I did not check reviews beforehand, but I am glad to see that I am not the only one having had such a positive experience.

Have ordered a couple of time from this company and have received great service. They advised me which roof bar and rob box combo would be best suited for my car and it arrived within a couple of days as promised. Also ordered some spare parts and unfortunately one was damaged. Emailed them and had a reply next day and new part sent without hesitation. Would certainly recommend them with the service i have received so far.

Ordered some roof bars as I was having trouble finding them to fit my car. Their website tool finds only items that will fit your car. Ordered and delivered in 2 days and they feel very secure. The company were very quick with correspondence when I had a question (less than 3 hours). Great service.

I purchased x2 Cruz cycle racks for my aero bar roof rack. One of the boxes was missing the adaptor kit. I emailed detailing this and I had a very prompt reply and the missing items were posted and arrived within 24 hrs. Wow. Now that is great customer service! Many thanks.

Ordered the Buzzrackpro P10 & lock and was not disappointed when it arrived. Excellent product, easily assembled and fitted to towbar, simple but sturdy design for attaching to the ball hitch. Makes transporting smaller loads easy without the need for a trailer. Compact enough to be stored in the boot of a family sized car. All components assemble without the need for tools which is a bonus. There are 4 straps included making it usable straight from the box without additional purchases being made. There is a numberplate carrier with it which can be removed if not required. It Great service with next day delivery.

Purchased another tow bar mounted bike Rack to suit my new vehicle on advice of staff picked the altera dreads dl3 great product. On receipt of the rack found a small plastic clip missing from number plate holder . Checked packaging etc but not there quick photo and email new part came in post fantastic service. I purchased a roof bike carrier for my husband, in which never got opened (from date of delivery), over the winter months he didn't cycle much and then 4 months later he decides to change the car!!! - therefore the carrier, still in its original delivery packaging wasn't fit for purpose. I thought I would have to sell it on ebay and revisit Roofbox for a tow bar bike carrier instead, there I noticed they had a 90 day exchange scheme, knowing we were just (and some more) outside the 90 days I wasn't sure if they would accept the item back and was ready for a 'no sorry!' reply and I would have completely understood, after all it was our fault. I was honest about our situation and their response was wonderful, they were willing to take it back and offer us full credit towards our next purchase with them, how awesome is that. We have now received our new tow bar bike carrier, fitted it to the new car and hope to use it this weekend! It was so easy dealing with them and delivery was prompt. Purchased set of Atera roof bars and bike carriers that fitted perfectly and worked great. After 18 months or so I had a problem with 2 of them. I contacted roof box and after explaining the issues were given some things to try to solve the problems. Unfortunately this didn’t work so after sending photos to Roof Box the necessary replacement parts and instructions were sent and receive by me the next day. The carriers are now like new! I would highly recommend the company based on their support and competitive pricing!

No problems with the purchase. Even when I queried how the foot pack fitted looked when attached to my roof rails, they were very helpful and gave me the confidence that I had fitted it correctly. I would happily recommend this company.

Have hired snow chains for my Evoque for each of the last 5 years for winter travel to the Alps and Dolomites. Service has been unfailingly excellent. Chains have arrived exactly as promised and in good time for advance fitting and sizing. I had a faulty part on one occasion and after a brief phone chat with the workshop fitter a replacement was sent to me and arrived the next day. The company do what they promise and are a pleasure to deal with - either by phone or email. No hesitation in recommending this service.

I bought some snow chains last year and foolishly, did not check that they fitted at the time. 12 months later, 4 days before we’re due to go to Europe skiing, I fitted them to the vehicle, but they were too large (even though the packaging was correct- manufacturer error not Roof Box)! I contacted the person I dealt with who saved the day! I was able to exchange the snow chains to ones that fitted the vehicle, no quibble, fast, friendly and efficient service.
