Over all a lot a players on the site ! The men seem to be logged on the site day and night ! I lived in sheffield at the time and wanted someone local. They start well chatting but experienced an issue with an ex soldier which made me come off the site. I was very upset at the time but its in the past now. Wouldn't recommed the site.

I'll just be short - same faces on the Star Bar all the time. Absolutely same old faces, and I *do* mean 'old' - I'm 33, and I get messages from people who are 75! Besides, I get messages from people looking for 'friendship' though I clearly stated on my profile that I'm searching for a serious relationship. And when I try to search for someone myself, I see that all decent and nice-looking guys have not been active for quite a long time, which makes me think some of the profiles may be fake. And just like all of those sites, it says 'free', but in reality you have to pay to see who gives you 'likes' (I'm just using Facebook terminology so that it's clear what I mean) and you have to pay to have 'unlimited contacts', though the second feature is unnecessary cause there are very few guys you would love to contact. On second thought, it's not worth while paying at all - a very limited number of people from the places you choose and a very limited number of decent matches at all! Providing customers with that level of service should be absolutely free and even then I would not recommend smooch to any of my female friends. Waste of money and even more hurt to your self-esteem (((

I was becoming dis-heartened with websites that are expensive or ones where 40 year old men (same age as me) were chasing women in their 20s!!!! However, this site is so easy to use and everyone seems genuine so far - It is early days but it shows everyone local to you and you can put as little or as much information on as you are comfortable with! I am sick of reading profiles on other sites of BS - mountain climbers and sky divers - us women just want nice and normal!!!! Well here goes - this site might be "the one"

Been on and off here for about 4yrs,find the site very easy to use and not had any problems with it. I've made some life long friends and just recently rejoined as I prefer smooch to any other free dating site.

I have been a member off smooch on and off for four years I have met a few people and have enjoyed my time with them I would be willing to recommend the site to friends and family, the smooch element on the new site I can't come to grips with as I can't understand when the messages sent to my email say somebody thinks me smoochable I go onto the site and don't know who they mean but to be honest I think it's my lack of understanding. all in all a good site;

I put down where I want to meet someone,the ones given me are from all over the country.smooch decided that the women I view are not the age bracket I desired. I like slim women and stated this,but all I got was big ladies.I can't get a photo up as I've no idea how,as I've never been on any type of computer or talent before let alone date sites. Very dissapointed and can't get this site rid of either...so overall its rubbish and has put me right off

i hink this is the best dating site as the profiles are really well set out.. you can send a flirt rather than message... i just wish you could filter out the ones you dont want to get through to you.. on pof you can and the users cannot message you unless they fit the criteria.. like if thy dont have a pic they cant message you end of! of if they are not in your age group they cant message you.. may be worth look at .. and also i liked the previous way smooch was set out because when you logged at the top of your page in blue letters were all the mail you had got.. now you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page :(

I have found it impossible to get back on site since the change,as my password is constantly being rejected,despite numerous attempts after changing my password.When I change it,itsays it was successful,yet still when I try to log in,it still rejects it.I was able once to send in a report to this effect as I got on site only by chance through someone having a message for me,but I heared nothing back from the team.I really miss being on the site,as I found it about the best one available,and really would like the problem resolved.I anxiously await your response.

I found this to be a really good dating site,that is totally free to use when compares with other sites that let you sign up for free,then you have to pay to contact people.one of the key elements was that you could search for people that are very near to where you are.i would certainly recommend this site to anyone that was wanting to do online dating.
