Paid for installation of new ovens and removal of old. On removal, the team dropped the oven on our front porch, damaging the step and the tiling. AO asked me to obtain quotes from builders on my own time, then after I'd found one willing to do the job told me it was too much and they would only pay for new tiles, not labour! Which was a quarter of the cost of the job! Shocking service, now left with a porch with cracked and broken tiling to fix at my own expense. Illegal and wrong!

Great price but rubbish delivery service. Stayed in 7am to 7pm - online tracker kept pushing back delivery eventually past 10pm saying “we are late but it’s still coming”. No one called. Gave up at 11.20pn. Called AO this morning (they didn’t call me) and apparently they stop deliveries at 7pm. . Why didn’t the tracker say that??? Poor. Very poor. Should have paid a few pounds extra for another firm.

Paid for washer including disconnect reconnect and recycle. Machine delivered packaging removed and was told that washer could not be connected as pipe was connected to water pipe and if they tried to remove pipe kitchen would be hit with a massive waterspout and I would have to call a plumber ASAP. When I pointed out that I was told expert engineers were promised I was told Sorry missus we are only drivers. I was left with my old machine my side by side drier and new machine all in the middle of the kitchen floor blocking my kitchen diner and access to back door. I phoned in an emergency plumber was a Sunday“ only to be told there was absolutely nothing wrong with the plumbing since this was Sunday the guy could not instal for me. I was left for 7 days like this and ao.co have completely ignored my complaint. The phone no. on their page is unobtainable.I am now still having to go round old washer as they have not recycled as agreed. I am 79 so looks like I am going to be swerving round my machine for the rest of my natural. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! The washer was a BOSCH series 4 Machine itself is fab.

I contacted them once by phone and twice by email with queries. In each case the query was dealt with in a timely manner. They understood fully what I was asking, and answered fully. We were equally impressed by the 2 gentleman who came to install the machine. They came on time. They were highly skilled and friendly. They took great care not to damage anything when removing the old machine and bringing in/installing the new one. A huge credit AO

Absolutely disappointing, we paid for removing the packaging and the delivery guys fly tipped the packaging with our name and address on which is in breach of DATA PROTECTION ACT. Also they damaged the washer by using there knees to move it.

As usual AO delivery process beats others hands down - informative, notice, time. Again as usual an excellemnt installation crew. Particularly liked attention to detail with built in dishwasher install really could not get any better. Given that prices are competitive why go anywhere else?

Had a washing machine delivered yesterday by the crew. They were professional, friendly, polite and very efficient. They installed the new machine quickly and with no fuss and took away my old one leaving everything clean & tidy. Very impressed with the service.

Recently purchased a top of the range TV from AO. Delivered but within 10 days it became faulty, had to basically prove it was faulty with the manufacturer before AO would exchange, bearing in mind its 10 days old!! So having to sort the issues myself with no help from AO they exchanged it for another set, same model. After 1 yes 1 day it developed a fault.. So having lost faith in the brand AO refused to supply me a TV of a different make but the same specifications.. They would only swap for an inferior TV. So I chose a 3rd set of the same model.. 2 days off of work, no phone call or apology from a senior manager at AO although they kindly offered me 40 quid off of another product in the future, Absolutely insulting. I'd avoid at all costs, as soon as they have your cash they're not interested in the customer at all. Rubbish service from a rubbish company.

Absolutely no point in talking to AO. They don't listen to a word, all you get is the usual patronising chat. Oh and to offer 40 pounds off of another product after losing 2 days work and countless wasted time and money on phone calls is frankly insulting. Never again and I will make sure everyone I know and everyone they know hear my story on your customer service.

I got an cooker from ao a few months back. Long story short the oven blew up in my face glass shattered everywhere. They should have dealt with me direct as it is within 6 months but keep passing it back to the manufacturer for the warranty as they do not have engineers so they have to use my warranty when by law they shouldnt be involving the manufacturer. But they keep insisting that they have to. And the manufacturer is saying repair even though I am terrified to use this oven i am disabled and cant move much so for this oven to be fixed I would t be able to use it as it scares me so much. I am petrified. I have explained everything to them but they keep passing it back to the manufacturer even though they are not supposed to. When I initially spoke to them last week they said they would replace or refund once the engineer had checked everything. AO do not care about the customer or their needs and will sell a faulty product and not even care about it and just pass the buck to the manufactor rather than take responsibility. I am still finding glass around my kitchen. The shattered glass is still falling off and I'm scared my 7 and 9 year are going to get hurt. Just be warned buying a product that could be faulty as when they have gotten rid of it they do not care

I'm very sorry to learn of the issue you've experienced with your cooker. I can certainly appreciate how concerning and disappointing this must be for you.
In the event of a customer experiencing an issue with their appliance 30 days after delivery, we would require an engineer to attend so that they can assess the issue with the appliance. We have a great relationship with all manufacturers and would seek the use of their engineer service as they are trained and have comprehensive knowledge of the items they design and produce. Following the engineers visit to your property, the item has been confirmed as repairable. At this stage, this would be the resolution we would offer as it disproportionate to your request in exchanging the item.
When calling our Contact Centre, a customer’s call may get diverted to directly to the manufacturer depending on the selections they have chosen. However, we're more than happy to liaise directly with a manufacturer on a customer’s behalf, and I understand that you've been discussing this matter at length with my colleague, within our Customer Service Team. My colleague is currently escalating this matter further with the manufacturer in providing the resolution that you’re seeking. As soon as my colleague has an update regarding this matter, she shall be back in touch with you directly.

After weeks of this issue AO are sorting out my issue. So I do thank so for coming around but I am disheartened with all of this stress it has caused me. Therr has been 2 people within AO who have amazing customer service skills and go out of their way to help when others wont. So thank you

I don`t understand how AO would be fully responsible for a manufacturing fault. Passing it back to the manufacturer would be the sensible thing to do, as this could create a recall for ovens that could be potentially dangerous. I personally purchase from AO and have done so for many years with no problems.

If a product is actually under 6 months the fault is with the retailer and not the manufacturer. As they sold the product as you paid them the money. If after then it is with the manufacturer. And I done a lot of research into this as I was being passed around. Yes the manufacturer needs to recall but they wont do that.
Also I always used AO. But this was the worst. They have now taken responsibility and are actually sorting the issue out .
