“How Is This Site Actually Legal?”

Having just gone online to potentially buy some Kasabian tickets that went on sale at 9:30M, the message "Tickets not currently available from Ticketmaster - Here are some other options:" is displayed. At 9:32am I redirected to Get Me In (A Ticketmaster Company) to see two tickets being "re-sold" at £390. How can two tickets (face value £55) be advertised for sale at three times the cost and a £60 booking fee added on? Ticket touting is illegal at venues so how is this legal online? How does this fit with fair pricing? How can a booking fee of more than the original ticket cost be added only two minutes after they went on sale? Isn't the re-seller effectively touting these tickets at an unfair markup? One thing for sure, this is totally immoral.

“Rolling Stones at London stadium ”

You were unable to take bags into the stadium.the sound system was awful.you could only here the bass and drums.it ruined Florence and the machine. The ticket prices were very expensive.on the ticket the cost was £70 but the cost per ticket was £178.how was this justified. I had to wait in 2 days for the ticket to be delivered by UPS.very dissatisfied.

“Just don't do it!”

Take your money for tickets that aren't even the correct ones. I'm now out of pocket and am not going to a concert I wanted to go to. Tried to contact them and just got told nope no refund even though it was minutes after purchase. Wrong location but still they think they are not wrong. Save your money and don't buy from this company. You will definitely be left disappointed!

“Don't waste your money”

Don't bother trying to cancel an order, your money will be taken immediately, and you will get nothing but a stock answer that they don't own the tickets so can't cancel or refund unless the event is cancelled. Hopefully the legal loophole they are exploiting will be closed sooner rather than later. If you can't get a ticket from a reputable source do yourself a favour and give it a miss!

“Verification may block your credit card”

I used them once quite some time ago and they have just tried to take £1 from my card to verify it. My bank flagged this up as a possible fraud and locked my card. As this happened over the Christmas break it has taken quite some sorting out. This seems a funny way for the company to conduct themselves and has caused me no end of grief. If you are a regular user then I suppose you have to put up with their systems. However, if you just use them as a one off then I would recommend closing your account immediately after completing the transaction, to avoid the issues I have had.

Rather than editing My review yet again I have decided to write a new review for my fiasco with this terrible (am I allowed to say the word terrible?) Company. They have gone to a lot of effort to attempt to block my review and I would imagine that they do this with a very large percent (possibly all?) of attempted negative reviews. I suspect that this is why they do not have as low rating as they should. It is only through perseverance that one can get a negative review past them. I'm sure they will have something to say about this re-edited review too. Let's wait and see ... What I will now do is remove 2 Words that were not swear words nor offensive words, just simply honest words that summed up my experience with this company from my review below. Bought Royal Blood Tickets Months ago for My Daughter. They said They were emailing Me with Progress. Never did get an Email other than an email Today saying I've been refunded. “Do not use”

Took my money for little mix tickets that never arrived, they say that UPS have delivered them somewhere no signature required for £320 of tickets!!! Say they will look in to it and get back to me 2 days after the concert, what good is that! I’ve 2 girls at home crying because it was there birthday present. DO NOT TRUST GET ME IN

Earlier this year I bought two tickets to go and see Steps in concert. The tickets arrived yesterday and the price paid by whoever had bought them was £40.00 per ticket. I accept that Getmein will take some profit and the seller will have profited as well but not by £76.00 per ticket!! I'm now expecting to arrive at the concert to find that the tickets are duds. I will not be using Getmein again and I'll make sure friends and family are aware not to use this company.

When ordering tickets on Getmein, all details are shown - including the original face value of the tickets. It's all very clear and you can't really blame Getmein if you didn't read the details.

“£300 down!!”

We bought tickets for Flight of the Conchords and then found some closer to home. Get me in advertises that people can resell tickets on their website, but then removed all reference to the FoTC event with no explanation. Customer service was unhelpful. We called to ask if they could send us the tickets early so that we could try to sell them, they said they can't because they get them from a 3rd party. And can't get a refund. So now we're stuck with two extra tickets which costed £300 and can't sell them. Really don't think this is in line with advertising standards.

My partner rebooked Celine Dion at Glasgow, post Manchester being cancelled. On looking at the tickets on receipt, he couldn't believe that this company had charged AN ADDITIONAL £107.71 on tickets costing £264 each. We booked SEATS and were unable to sit due to ALL standing in front of us........had we known we would have booked much cheaper seats and would not have paid this exorbitant "processing" fee to stand at a concert where we couldn't even see the stage fully.

“Do not use don't give correct tickets”

Very dissapointed bought tickets for Olly Murs in Aberdeen got tickets for Glasgow. Checked with Getmein who advised it would not be a problem as the covering letter advised it was Aberdeen. Customer service were awful feel totally conned by this company definitely would not use them again.

“Appalling service”

Received confirmation that they had sent tickets. Not received after 5 days and their help page says contact them. Phone always says all there agents are busy, ring back latter. Tried 5 times at different times of the day. No email address. So no £500 worth of tickets and no way to get to them.

Bought tickets for take that vip standing for this saturday coming. Only just received them to find out i have general admission only !!! Paid £300 a ticket oct 2016 and got truly taken in by these people. Have tried to phone but thats 7p per minute and no one picks up they just cut you of as lines are busy!! No email only postal address to contact them. Wont ever use these again be warned guys they are awful :-(

we are having the same trouble as you.bought our tickets last October for Manchester shows and hoping to go to the rescheduled this Sunday but nothing apart from three emails saying they will be in touch with an e ticket !!

“Greased weasels ”

I ordered a ticket for the 2017 Download Festival for £87, which is very cheap (face value was 205) and might have seemed suspicious but for GetMeIn's "Fan guard guarantee", which assured the buyer that: "As part of GET ME IN!’s commitment to customer satisfaction: • You will receive valid tickets for your event. • Your tickets will be dispatched on time before the event. • If a problem arises GET ME IN! will step in to provide you with replacement tickets, that are comparable or better - at no additional cost to you. And, in the unlikely event we are unable to keep to any of these commitments we guarantee that we will refund you 100% of your money." So I went ahead, delighted with my good fortune. But the weeks turned to months, Winter turned to Spring. Summer arrived, yet no ticket. No matter - I knew I could rely on the "Fan guard guarantee" - all would be well. A week before Download was set to start I received a cheery e-mail - don't worry, we've not forgotten about you! We've contacted your seller, if the ticket hasn't arrived three working days before the event, call us and we'll discuss next steps! At this point I became suspicious - three business days seems a little tight to source and post a replacement ticket - but I phoned up and was assured "Don't worry, you can rely on our 'Fan guard guarantee' - there are plenty of tickets on our site, if yours doesn't arrive we'll almost certainly be able to get you one of those!" Almost certainly. So lo' and behold, my ticket didn't materialise. Fear no though, I phoned GetMeIn again to exercise my rights under the "Fan guard guarantee". Regrettably, it then emerged that the "Fan guard guarantee" is a fallacy designed to dupe the gullible. "Nay", I was told, "We can't give you a replacement ticket" "But I can see that there are tickets available on your website" I replied, "More expensive than £87 admittedly, but tickets nonetheless. Can't I have one of those?" "Nay" they said, "because... because there are different classes of ticket and we can't - for instance - replace a back row ticket with a front row ticket". This is: 1. Clearly not what is stated by the 'Fan guard guarantee', which says in black and white that your ticket will be replaced with one "Comparable or better" 2. Absolute trossocks, because Download is a festival: it doesn't have a front row, a back row or any other rows. If it had rows then I wouldn't have purchased a ticket in the first place, because a festival with rows would be horrendous No matter, the fellow on the other end of the phone kept on reading from his script, repeating his misplaced, non-viable "Front rows vs back rows" theory, so I asked to speak with his manager. His manager was unavailable and would be for the next three days. Unavailable for three days. My event starts in three days. Wonderful! No ticket, and with three days to go until the festival started, little chance of getting one (unless I fancied paying well over the odds for one of the remaining tickets on GetMeIn - no thank you). Screwed. So, what I'm trying to say I suppose is that GetMeIn are happy as Larry when they're casually creaming 20% off the top of everything you buy. But if you ask them for help, for honestly, or for anything else which doesn't involve them fleecing you, they become more slippery than a greased weasel, more elusive than a spectral fart making its way through a hurricane. These people are not to be trusted: beware

“The invisible tickets!”

I never thought I would have to write a poor review about pretty much anything. This isn't a angry complaint to be fair, just disappoinment. Me and my friend, who is the biggest Robbie Williams fan I have ever met, had the delight of going to watch him on the 2nd june together. But unfortunately never recieved the tickets! Apparently they had been posted through the door! Nobody recieved the tickets! I was then told that they can be printed off. Then after hours of waiting for a email to arrive for the tickets, I am then told, "sorry we have been mis-informed they are not E tickets and there is nothing else we can do". I have not yet told my friend. I really dont want too. Just be mindful buying tickets online guys its not worth the disappointment if they never come! Thanks Ashley O'Brien

“wrong tickets sent”

Paid £525 for 4 tickets to go see Buno mars lower tear no restricted view received upper tear tickets with restricted view cost of which should have been £218 ....Quite a difference and i would not have purchased these tickets anyway . It took the disputes manager approx 30minutes to reply to my complaint to be told THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE ..what a load of rubbish WILL NOT USE THIS SITE AGAIN

“For my daughters ‘wedding anniversary’ and knowing...”

For my daughters ‘wedding anniversary’ and knowing that her and her husband were ‘Who’ fans, They also took along their three kids, so I bought 5 tickets from ‘GET ME IN’. site, and a cost of £75.00 a ticket. To make the concert a bit special I booked a hotel in Liverpool for an overnight stay for all of them. The tickets arrived 3 days before the concert date and were presented to my daughter by myself and my wife. My daughter has just informed me that when presented the tickets were ‘Refused as Failed’’ and as such was advised to attend the ‘ site booking/ticket office’ to inquire as to the problem. The ticket office informed my daughter that these tickets had been refunded to the purchaser, thus making the tickets invalid. What I believe has happened is:. The tickets were purchased by the original purchaser, he/she has requested a full refund for the 5 tickets, having received the refund, he/she has submitted the tickets for re-sale. And tried to pocket the proceeds.

We still haven't received our tickets from getmein for the take that concert this sunday 18 june not sure what to do or what we can do, we feel so upset and angry because we so wanted to go to original concert and this one because of what it represents, but still awaiting tickets had several email promises from getmein but nothing materialise.  Did anyone else have this problem?

Problem with their website meant I received an error message, and I didn't think order had been processed. No confirmation email, so tried again. Same problem, and still no email, so tried a more reliable trustworthy website. However, when I checked my inbox for confirmation, I had 3 email, 2 from Getmein confirming my order, and one from the other website. Contacted Getmein to cancel and explain problems with website, but they don't want to know; they insist order is valid, and accept no responsibility for faulty website. Raised dispute with credit card company, but will never use Getmein again, and will tell no-one else to either. Any one had problems being billed for orders they thought hadn't gone through?

Good luck! I was let down badly by Get Me In but have recently purchased tickets on Seatwave with success. Both of these ticket resale sites are part of (owned by?) Ticketmaster. Strange that shortly after tickets go on sale with Ticketmaster literally hundreds appear on these resale sites at inflated prices. It's not fair on the fans and the government should do something about it!!!

I had the same problem and I could not get a phone number. I exchanged loads of e-mail with them. In the end the tickets never arrived and they denied all responsibility. I complained tirelessly and was eventually told to write to this guy below but I never did. Looking at feedback from similar situations I could not be bothered, they are just not intererested. Don't panic. I have ordered from Get me In on a few occasions and have never been let down. Sometimes the promoters/organisers don't release the tickets until one week before the event so there is still plenty of time for you to receive them.

I put tickets up for sale then cancelled them as my daughter decided she wanted to go for her birthday, unfortunately I didn't cancel them properly according to get me in. I haven't noticed any of the emails as they went to junk mail. My question is will I be charged for this error and if so how much? I've emailed customer support and they said contact me back in 5 days, I don't have 5 days to wait as the concert is this Saturday. I don't want to upset my girl and tell her she can no longer go as it was a mistake, but I need to know if this will cost a fortune.

The same thing is happening to me, forgot to cancel and they sold. If they have been sold then you can be charged up to 150% of what they paid for your tickets and unfortunately the customer support team is awful at getmein, so I doubt they'll be much help, the cheaper option that I'm doing is to continue with the sale and try and buy more tickets for the event

Sometimes the venues don't send the tickets out until a couple of weeks before and the original purchaser will send them to you at this point. I've made up a mock ticket before and wrapped this up so that they can still open something and see what they are going to.

When you buy tickets on Get Me In, the arrival date depends on when the seller sends out the tickets. It could be anything up to a week before the event. I ordered tickets in February for a gig in December and they arrived at the beginning of June. If you have any contact details for the seller, you should get in touch but other than that, you can never be too sure as to when they will arrive. You could go on Moonpig or Funky Pigeon and make a card that tells them they're going.

I bought park life tickets 2 months ago, I had an email to say they would come first class 2 weeks before the event. I had a reminder email but its pretty much a week to go and they haven't sent me a email or any tickets, should I be worried? What do I do?

I would call them. We had a similar problem with jls tickets and turned out the ones if brought were not available. However I phoned and was offered alternative tickets and a refund of 10% so all worked out ok in the end but might have been a different story had I not rang when I did. Hope it works out ok for you.

I bought tickets for russel Howard and the gig weren't for about a 10 months at the time I bought them but as you have mentioned they keep you informed and let you know we're they are and that they will be with you shortly we revived our tickets 3 fmdays before the event and was reassured by get me in that would be the case I was worried my self but sure as there word they arrived and I was very happy with the way they dealt with them I was informed when they left and when they were on van and could track them so rest assured you will get you're tickets in time.

Hi, I have used this site a few times and I always get my tickets on time at least a week prior to the event. The seller only gets paid 10 days after the event, I think this is so that if you don't get your tickets, GetMeIn can refund you. I would suggest that you maybe pay with a credit card just to be on the safe side, but I have never had any problems on here and I have bought and sold tickets.

Never bought tickets from a middle man before so maybe i was naive to pay over 200 quid for tickets worth about 90, but they arrived today and are just an A4 print of an eticket. So what's to stop the seller copying them and selling the same seats to other people through other websites? I'm just worried we will turn up on the night and the tickets will have been scanned by someone else using a copy of them.
