“On Line Next day service.”

I sent my black and white photo online for enlargement. The photo that I got was not good.It was far too dark for a start which made it unusable and together with terrible packaging it was a complete waste of £4.00 . Has to be the worse on line service I have ever used.Will not be using it again that's for sure,

“Photo onto cushions”

Very disappointed with the finished look,the photograph hasn't been put on straight all out of balance. This was done in store.I also purchased 4glass coasters and a mug which are ok but a mug purchased elseware had an extra picture added with a greeting for less cost ,so maybe not good value either

“Quality ok, but web interface frequently crashes”

Purchased several picture books from Tesco in the past and overall pleased with the results. They regularly have special offers where extra pages can be added for free and these are definitely worth waiting for. However, a major issue is with the web interface. It uses Adobe Flash which is extremely buggy and frequently crashes resulting in potential lost changes. This is very frustrating and totally unnecessary as Adobe Flash is a massive security risk and should not be used by web sites any more. Tesco need to redevelop their web interface using HTML5. If it wasn't for the special deals I probably wouldn't use Tesco Photo any more.

“Unhappy customer”

I ordered a book that didn't turn up looking anything like the way it had been uploaded. it was a memory book for my son for his birthday and he had his head chopped off and pictures chopped down, I emailed and was told that is my error but I no it wasn't like that when I clicked verify I emailed to explain this to them 5 days ago and they haven't even responded which is just bad customer service as it was a birthday present I have had to order another with a different company which was a lot easier to order and is a lot better quality. I would not recommend or order again I also do my weekly shop with them every week and will be using another store as I don't participate being ripped off. I wish I had read some reviews before ordering if I had I wouldn't of bothered.

“Late order an no response”

Ordered a canvas print. The email confirmation clearly gave 7 days. Turned up at the store on the day and no print. Furthermore they could not give me any timescale or follow up on the order. Intended as a Birthday present so I am unimpressed. No response to email complaint sent.

“Over the moon”

Just received my first ever photo book and am over the moon. Only ordered it on Sunday night and it arrived Wednesday morning, couldn't be happier as this is a Christmas gift. I will definitely be using this service again for all my photos and gifts. Once I got used to the site it was fairly easy to navigate my way round and produce for my first time a great photo book.

“5 years and still nothing to big complain about”

Well I am shocked that Tesco Photo only has 2.3 out of 5 at the time of me typing this. I have used Tescophoto.com for about 5 years now for a number of their products including 6x4 prints, Canvas', Mugs, Cushions, an iPad case and even 'Flip Flops' a couple of years back. One noticeable change over the last two years is the Staff attitude at store, since the Photo Shop changed to a MaxSpielmann they seem a lot more friendly and happier than what they were as a Tesco Photo Shop. Keep an eye open for their promotions because they have some bargains from time to time, I have just missed their Canvas Promo so I will be checking back in the new year. I've had a couple of things arrive with a printing error and damaged in the post but their customer service guys just ask to see a photograph of the issue and they get it reprinted, I don't even have to waste my time going to the post office to return the defective product. I would have possibly rated a 4 but out of shock of the couple of bad reviews I boosted it to 5

“Tesco Photo is a totally unreliable site”

I have been using Tesco photo for a number of years but will never use them again. I spent a few weeks working on a very important photo book and was just about to place my order when the site went down. It has now been two months and it still has not been fixed. I get one apology after the other and the promise that the site will be back as soon as possible but they don't know when. This was meant to be a present for my 80 year old mother. I'll be lucky if I get it to her for Christmas at this rate.

“Poor information”

we use the website that has not been working for days so went into my local where I get my orders from to ask what was happening. the staff said there was maintenance but could not tell me when it would be working again. not very happy as a lot of my photographs are on the site and I want some of them printing, they should be able to tell me when their own site will be working within a day or 2 you would think!

“Unable to work the newish Tesco photo book app!”

I have been very pleased with all the Tesco photo books that I have done over the last several years, from both son's 21st to major holidays we have had. However on returning home from our first Cruise I wanted to do another photo book to capture the memories. Tesco have changed the process and no matter how many times I tried I could not use their new system. I spent hours on the computer trying to add over 250 photos into the book, in the end I gave up. Searched on line and decided to use Truprint instead, very similar to the old tesco, book sorted in record time. Maybe it was me, but I don't think so!!

No it wasn't you, when I started to read this review I thought to myself that I must have put this up. I have had the exact same problem and also went to Truprint in the end. I had also wanted to do a book as I had just had my first cruise! I have about 10 photo books done through tesco. I will give them another try as I have another book to do!

“Late, faulty, late, poor customer service”

Ordered a canvas from Tesco for collection in store, the email clearly stated it would be ready in 7 days and when I went to collect it the lady looked for it for about 10 mins and then said it was delayed. 4 days later I went back and it had arrived but the edge of the canvas was damaged! The manager said it had been damaged in transit and blamed a company called dex I was not happy so she said she could get another one sent. 7 days later I got a call to say it had come in and so made a special journey to get it, on getting it home we noticed that there was a scratch on the canvas that was about 2 inches long! Back we go again and the manager challenged me saying we had damaged it taking it home!! Well supply it in a box that protects it I said. After a heated discussion she said she could not give me a refund and that another one would have to be sent. 7 Days later it arrived and was ok but I will never order from the Tesco site ever again.

“Late orders and no reply to emails or phone calls”

placed an order on tesco site for a canvas with pickup from my local branch. Order never arrived and pushed for time i decided to email and then phone. Could not get through by phone after I eventually found a number in manchester so I emailed, got a message back saying they were busy! 6 days later an 5 more emails to them and still no response, give up and will be heading back for a refund!

“Poor service never again”

Ordered a canvas from tesco online and selected collect in store. Got confirmation of order and date to collect it, so good so far. Went to collect it and told it was delayed! Went back 2 days later and still no canvas and no real apology just blamed some company called hareir Went back 2 days later now 5 days late and not there!!! Have been trying to contact them by email and telephone and cannot get a response so seriously annoyed, no wonder Tesco is going down the pan.

“Really poor ”

My photo calendars and picture was due in today and I'm now told that the order hasn't come in and can I go back tomorrow. Put simply, if an order is due on a certain day I expect it on that day! I now have 4 people with out Christmas gifts as I'm not around to collect the order!

trying to upload photos for a calendar and it keeps sending me to the homepage. I use Tesco clubcard and have photos printed here. Also had a photobook printed but was less than happy.

“Best ever photo book”

I have never bought a photo book before and didn't want to spend too much money. Tesco photo book was the cheapest I found. It took me three days (full days as I'm retired and have the time) to get to grips with it all and upload the photos in the order I wanted. Then another day playing with the borders and checking the spelling multiple times. I settled on the £12.50 book. When it came to the checkout I was offered, for an extra £4, gloss pages. I thought, I have spent so much time on this book, other books were way more expensive, so I paid for the glossy pages. I picked it up this morning. It takes a lot to impress me but impressed I was. It was fantastic and those pages were well worth the extra £4. Tesco you have certainly exceeded my expectations and even more so for £16.50. Well done I can't fault anything about the finished book but the site I found very hard to navigate. The thumb nails are very small and difficult to see and there is no way for you to put the pictures in order. If you just click to upload the photos Tesco puts the pictures in the order they were up loaded not in the order they were first taken. Very frustrating. Next time I will know to upload them in the order I want. Despite this I will definately be buying more photo books with Tesco.

“Fast printing, bad quality”

While the photos were printed within the hour the quality was awful, all the prints come out dark and yellowy. They like better in the raw format before I tweaked them, I couldn't just printed them at home!

“awful awful awful”

I arrived on a sunday to be told could I come back another day as I wanted them to take the pictures and frame four pictures. Came back on the Wednesday still to busy went back on the Thursday to be spoken to like a piece of dirt. to be told she had had a bad day and apologies of which she gave us an appointment on the following day and 10 percent discount. I couldn't make the appointment so my partner took the boys well I could cry I have paid 40.00 for something that I will not even be able to use the lady obviously isn't qualified to take pictures as being a mother the pictures are awful, its my own fault I feel for using such a service as no one seems to no what they are doing.

“Laughably bad”

Needed a whole load of prints in a hurry, and the mother in law recommended Tescos photo service. So we drive to the store, around a tenners worth of petrol, to find the store open (which we knew about, obviously) and the photo store closed (which we didn't, as their website is rather less useful than some popular diseases). On asking at customer services, we are informed that 'This is now operated by another party', meaning they have sold it. The prices were frankly a joke, with the headline price of 5p only achievable for very large quantities and a 3 day wait. Real world quantities or 'while you shop' waits weren't even close to this price. I would have liked a website that told the truth, opening times, prices, things like that, and I could then have decided to not bother, and use the internet. Snapfish (HP) handled the printing for 3.8p a print (including postage), and I wish I had never bothered going to Tescos. Summary, save your petrol, and the rather dirty experience that tescos always is, and use another service. Tesco: Oblivion awaits, Lidl (In sevenoaks anyway) is now a more pleasant experience, selling better food, for less money. This does not bode well for the future of your shareholders.

“Largest poster”

I designed a poster that I was really pleased with so decided to get it printed out and since tesco were doing an offer on their largest poster, I thought it was worth a tenner to get it blown up. I was concerned that with it being so big (30" x 40") that it might look low resolution, so I made my file as high resolution as possible - which was 130ppi considering there's a 15mb limit on their upload. And I'm glad I did because it looks great. I'm very pleased. The only thing I am unhappy about is that it seems to have been white balanced, I wish I could have anticipated this - I had intentionally made my text and my border a cream colour to make it look sort of retro, but now the image behind is slightly more blue than I had hoped. But thankfully it doesn't detract from the overall look. So just for anyone else who is doing anthing similar - make sure you have some pure white parts so that this doesn't happen (although, perhaps this wasn't the case and that everything will come out looking slightly blue-tinted, I'm not sure) The paper quality seems pretty good, what you'd expect for a poster I think. On the back it has little 'kodak' watermarks. No issue for me, but thought I would mention it. Anyway, pretty pleased with my purchase. It was delivered more quickly than I had been made to expect. It's cool to have my own art on my walls!

Hi, Can you confirm that low res exclamation mark on one of my photos will not show up in my photo book? I realise it will not be a good quality picture but I have no choice but to use the photo. Thanks for your help

I have done 2 photo books and at the point of sending to basket to order, it turned one page in one of the books as a ghost page and says it has pictures missing. But when I look at the book they are all there. I have emailed as had problems earlier in the week and lost everything, but heard nothing back so have had to do it all again, and now this. I don't know if I send it to print if one page will be washed out? It took me hours with over 300 pictures and I do not want to re do this again.
