To the kid who gets picked on- their probbably pickin on you cause you have'nt made up your bike well. If it has geeky long handle bars or some reflectors on it then they're gonna laugh cause it will look like rubbish. If you have modified it then it will look much better and handle over jumps good too.

I have had the DK Eight Pack for not very long but it is by far a piece of junk. This is one of the best bikes that I have ever ridden. Nothing has gone wrong with it or broken and I jump, grind, and do everything else.

I've been riding seriously for about two months and I'm not that good. Ever since I saw that bike in my local shop I was really excited and I worked hard to get it. I was really disapointed when I figured out that it was a peice of junk. I've only had it for a couple of weeks and I've broke five chains, popped four tubes, and bent one sprocket. I'm not an idiot when it comes to bikes and I know when somethings not right and this bike just isn't right. What I thought was really strange was that almost all of my problems have occured on one trick and that's a simple feeble. By the time I'm done I'll already sunk $300 bucks into it. I only recommend this bike to people that like to spend lots of money on nothing. Thanks for listening to me whine.

You must have got a bad 1 or something because I had mine for about 8 months and it worked fine for me. I gave it to my nephew and am currently teaching him tricks. Since then I’ve had a six pack for 5 months and my beauty (four pack) for 1/5 a month and my nephews eight pack still has all the original parts and he uses it at least 3 times a week when he goes down the park with me.

what are you talking about ive had a eight pack for two years and ive been giving it whatfor and the only thing that has gone wrong is a bent crank I dont know how you keep braking yours you big twit.
Written on: 22/09/2003
ya i think this problem with your bike is u bent your sprocket and u put your chain on to tight ive had my eight pack for 6 months and i havent broke the chain on it the only problems ive had was bending the forks and the crank

I have maybe a few ideas about why your supposedely "Piece Of Junk" eight pack has had so many problems, maybe the bike was a remanufactured bike with cheap look alike parts. Then i would imagine you bought your supplies from that local bike shop and those parts are probably remanufactured also. Why not just buy the puncture resistand tubes! They hardley ever pop unless you are purposely triying to pop them. Those are just a few ideas about your eight pack.

The eight pack is a kick azz bike if you know how to use it correctly. For all the freakin dumbs ppl who hate the eight pack guess again. It is the best bike in it's price range and be given a high rating by bmx plus and transworld bmx, o don't forget ride bmx to.

I have an eight pack and just to clear this up it is a great bike especially for the price. Sure i have bent my sprocket that came on it that's just because it isn't a good sprocket. It's not the bike that is bad, it's the stock parts. Just get a good think chain and a nice sprocket. Your problems will be solved at least for a little while.

I am down with Meester on this one - take heart that the bits you are smashin are what are known in the trade as 'disposables' - as long as your frame, forks, cranks etc. are hangin tough then things aint all bad. Get smooth man, practice and one day those squirelly like state side tikes can eat there words. It takes time so buy yourself a shed load of chains, sprockets and tubes and turn it out.

David
Take heart from those USA boys, AJ and Mike, maybe it is your riding style that's causing your problems.
It don't think it's reason enough for you to take up golf. At least you can spell, man.
And you know what a comma is for. Keep riding, keep the peace.

Yeah like aj I think it's you not the bike, I got an 8 pack about a month ago and it rides great I've jumped tons of jumps and went off loding docks and drop offs like that and havn't had any problembs. my friends ride it and say it's great and really smooth riding and they have been riding for about 5 years. Like aj said I think you should get a new hobby, golf might even be to hard, chess sounds like something you could do though.

The DK Eight Pack BMX bike is a lot lot better then any others in its price range (£279). For this amount of money you can buy a 100% poo mongoose gt or haro, which, let's be fair, are pretty badly made. If you're serious about bmx'ing or just want sumfin phat to bezz down to the shops in then this is the thing. Great for dealers ,stealers, and big wheelies (i shud be a poet) but also it is a bit of money. This could buy you about 2oz of good skunk and about 300 cans of super brew, it's your choice

This is the best bmx in the world and trust me you will get one and keep it. It is the smoothest ride ever. It's strong and light.

Well I'm thinking of getting one but this really hasnt helped. I've had some saying its light and hard to break and others are saying its heavy and will explode as soon as you touch it! Overall the reveiws on this have been good so for my first bmx. I'll be getting the 8pac...

But its only £150 now but if your willing to pay that much you can get a beatiful four pack like mine for £250.

Right, the dk 8 pack. Where do I start with this 1? For those of you who actually know ANYTHING about your own ride then listen up. This complete bike is a disaster. Problem after problem and so on... it costs; it has a 1 piece crank and only a cro-mo main triangle. This means it weighs a ton. The reach on the stem is ridiculous 4 first time riders meaning it is a tank to lift. The handle bars are huge and you can’t put the bar ends back on after you've cut them down. The crank comes also with some stupid tightening mechanism (non-sopanner compatible) meaning it will be hard to change or impossible. The sprocket is 44t! I have 1 word for this and it is "NO"... The rims and crank will bend unless you weigh less than 40 lbs. The bike weighs almost £5 lbs which will do you bad rsi on your back (repetitive strain injury)... This was my first bike and have found myself spending loads of cash on it.

well its not the bike u just suck at riding cause the 5 chains u poped where caused by your dumb azz landing on it same with your sproket. if u know how to feble u wont have a problem and u probally ride like an animal and as far as the tubes probally too stupid to put the right tire pressure or u must not know how to bunny hop cause u case your tire so my advice to u is take up another hobby
