Very Quick. Fine for a quick cup of instant coffee. Noisy, splutters a bit, and does not boil water - so not suitable to tea making. Disappointed in this product, which our so bought us for Christmas. His money would have been better spent on something else.

The plastic container is flimsy, the pump is noisy and spurts the water which is luke warm after you add milk for a drink. Should be called the slow cup because it is a long wait for a cup of semi hot water. Nice idea if it worked as advertised but I was very disappointed and am very surprised Tefal gets away with selling this as advertised. Won't even sell it on ebay for fear my rating will drop.

Bought this a a Christmas present for my in-laws and they have now chosen to go back to their original kettle for the above reasons. I took it home and tried it and would not buy one for myself now because I totally agree with them. I must say I am very dissapointed in it and prefer my own kettle too. Definately too noisy!
I really wish I had not wasted ££50.00 on this!

Tefal Quick Cup----Did think it was good---until it blew main circuit fuse, when not being used, freezer contents damaged, and 25 mile round trip to get a refund. This was costly!

I do like the Tefal quick cup but the more I use it the colder the water gets. I have de-scaled the appliance several times already but with little effect.

Tefal told me by email that the quick cup should heat water up to 80-85 degrees C, ours was far below this temp only reaching 75 degrees at best. For us the quick cup splashed a lot and so resulted with hot water on the work surface. We reterned ours to the store for a refund.

After buying the Tefal Quick Cup Kettle and setting it up, it looks a lot better than a normal kettle on the work surface and the filtered water makes a much better drink and not with scolding hot water either, just right. Would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying a new kettle.

I've seen one of these in action, great idea but doesn't it take ages to brew up for several people doing it one cup at a time? I guess you'd have to invest in a teapot or something!
