Ordered ABH Dipbrow Pomade on the 1st of July and still waiting for the item. Tried calling customer service but all you get is an automated message about experiencing a high volume of calls and a hang up (even when you call at 9.01am for a company that opens at 9am), which leaves you no choice but to use the message contact on the website. I missed a delivery as I had no specific date of delivery given and tried to contact the delivery company to arrange a re-delivery, but guess what, got an automated message that they cannot speak to individuals but for me to contact the company (seller) on any queries I might have. Contacted BeautyBay, got immediate acknowledgment of my correspondence but had to wait 3 days before I got an email back advising me that I would have to wait for the item to be returned first before I can re-arrange delivery. I was also told that they are experiencing some problems with their telephone lines hence the inability to reach them via telephone. Contacted them again about one and half weeks ago via website as phones are still giving same automated message, and again received a reply via email that there is no record of my item being received back from the delivery company yet. On the 26th of July, I have again contacted them via their website for any update on this item but hence still waiting for any reply. Have tried calling customer service again and no surprise here, still the same message about experiencing a large volume of calls and the hang up. I am so frustrated with the whole thing. Need to either have the product I paid for or my money back . How difficult can it be.

“Feel let down”

I've had bits from Beauty Bay .com over the years without problems. This time I ordered a Parlux hairdryer because mine had given up the ghost. It arrived next day impressed! Then I opened the box to find they had sent the wrong model ( cheaper). Like other reviewers I was unable to contact by phone. Sent an e-mail with a photo attachment of the product as proof. The dispatch note states there is a pre-paid return label, which there is not. If I return the parcel I will have stand the cost of postage and will I get a refund? So I'm down by £70 and a hairdryer I can not use because I'll be to unable to return it. They may never get back to me if other reviewers are to be believed.

I know there are lots and lots of bad reviews on BEAUTYBAY, those made me very sceptical, but eventually I decided to take my chances and order some products. And I'm really happy that I did. After reading about so many people getting it late, or not getting at all, I did expect a certain delay... But I got it in 10 working days, and products were new, unopened and perfeeeeect :)))) I DO RECOMMEND. A tip: if you wanna be certain about getting your products, just go with tracked or express delivery. Better safe than sorry. I am completely satisfied. Will repurchase.

“Slow delivery but worth it.”

It took a month for my package to arrive (from the UK to Mexico) but the costumer service whilst I waited was great. The product is in pristine condition and was very secure. I would recommend Beauty Bay if you don't need a product in a hurry. But if you are willing to wait, their prices are some of the best.

“DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM”

I am a regular user of online shopping and invariably receive a good service. I put an order with Beauty bay as their prices were slightly better than my regular supplier and also the fact that they advertise a 2-3 day tracked delivery. Except once you put your order you receive nothing regarding the supposed "tracked service". Something a number of other people have commented on! Having not received my order I call customer service who tells me the Managing director (no less) has advised that "actually since you put your order we have changed our delivery service" yeah, right on! And I should just wait until it arrives!

I ordered on the 23rd of April and still haven't received my parcel. Customer service does not respond to emails or response with an automatic email. Never buy at BeautyBay!! You'll be left disappointed and angry..

“Terrible Customer Service”

Delivery arrived with a missing item. I had to contact customer services 3 times to get them to agree to replace the item. I was then not contacted about the replacement and I have had to chase them again. My complaint was completely ignored. Avoid this company as they have no idea of customer service.

Beauty bay offers a great range of different products and does provide free shipping worldwide. However, on the downside, it took close to 2 months before i received my parcel. I am extremely impatient and for those who are just as impatient and live down under.. I highly suggest you pay express shipping..Overall - 2 out of 5.

“Terrible. Disappointing and frustrating to deal with”

Do not use this company. Hairdryer purchased and failed to work after only using three uses. Following instruction to send back for repairs, I followed up regularly over the next three months. I was told it was being sent back to me, and then it was misplaced and unaccounted for so they offered to send a new one. Instead original they sent the original dryer back to me broken and STILL not working. No resolution as they insist the dryer has been fixed. Despite the fact it doesn't turn on. .

“Never buy from them again”

I ordered Guinot Hydra Lait Confort moisture Rich Cleansing from them and they send me Guinot Hydra Lait Confort Comforting cleansing milk. On my complaint, they insisted that they are the same and refused to deal with it. The two products are clearing not the same and even in different color with different descriptions on the bottle itself. This is irresponsible behavior and not trust worthy as online shop.

Ordered items a month early to give me time to receive before a very important wedding. Wedding came and went with no sign of products, it was 6 weeks before I received my package. The foundation refill I'd ordered came as an empty packet! And the eyelashes were such terrible quality. It has been over 2 months and I have not recieved a refund for the lashes or a replacement foundation refill. I feel a fool for not reading reviews first. If I don't receive a refund I WILL file a claim against them. They seem to be running an absolute joke of a business if they have this many bad reviews of THE SAME PROBLEMS. Gah!

After sending me a tracking number they cancelled my order and neglected to tell me. Apparently you can't buy 5 of the same item because they don't sell to "trade". If I'm ordering from the other side of the globe and paying a lot for express shipping, why would I just buy one of every item??

I tried really hard to order from these folks. The site claimed my credit card could not be verified. Then the phone rang. A robot was claiming I had to call an 877 number to un-freeze my account. I called that number. I got a pitch for a "free" cruise to the Bahamas. All I had to do was fork over $50 right now. RED FLAG!!! I ordered the product elsewhere. No, my card was not frozen.

Placed my order almost 3 weeks ago and they told me to wait for 20 *working* days for it to arrive. And the tracking function was down so I had no idea where my order is now, nor can I track it. Customer service just told me to wait and they said they can't do anything. They couldn't even give me the details of where my order is. The best part is, I don't know if the item will arrive because I usually receive my items within 2 weeks ordering from other sites. I could have just bought the items on other websites or even in a physical location. Horrific customer service and delivery time. “Awful experience! ”

I ordered an item the 3th of May, but it took over a month for me to receive it. When I ordered it, I waited for two weeks, and then I send them an email, asking where my item was. I received the same standard email everybody gets, so I decided to write on their facebook page. They said that my order had been shipped, and it would arrive in a couple days. It didn't, so I send them another email, but alas the same standard email was their response. By then it was June, so I was really angry, and very disappointed. I wrote on their facebook page again, and finally received a lost orders form. I filled it in, and mailed it to them. They promised me they would send me an email, once my item had been shipped. But they never did! So I waited another week, and wrote on their facebook page again (it's the only way to get a response, believe me), then they said my lost orders form had been lost (yeah right). So I had to send it again, hoping that this time my item would arrive. To my big surprise, I actually received my item 4 days later. So it is possible for them to send an item, but I just think that most of the times they don't even send items. I do not believe items can get lost so easily. I have ordered from a lot of webshops, and everything has always arrived on time, so it's clearly their company. I will never order from them again! So I warn you, be careful! If you want a response I advice you to write on their facebook page, because it's the only way they'll respond. The negative comments on their facebook page is bad publicity, so they have to respond.

“More than 2 weeks, still no delivery!”

Ordered and paid 27 December, still no delivery! (am in Belgium) I can kick myself for not having read some reviews first, seems like non-deliveries are pretty standard for this. I know I could have opted for the paid and trackable delivery service. It's just that it's the first time I've had to wait this long. Have ordered from comparable UK companies with free, non-trackable delivery before and delivery was usually within a couple of working days. Still keeping my fingers crossed that my goods will show up, hopefully soon. Seeing so many negative experiences on here though, I'm afraid there's a chance I have to kiss my 40+ Euro's goodbye :(

“No issues with item, but very late and confusing delivery”

I have recently ordered two items from BeautyBay, and although both items were fine, the main issue I have is the delivery of each item. The first item only took just over a week, but, when delivered by Yodel, was placed in my recycling bin (good job it wasn't due to be emptied that day...). The second, ordered 11th Dec in plenty of time for xmas, arrived on 31st Dec after several prompts from myself to various courier companies who appeared to be attached to the delivery - 13-ten, Yodel, citipost - plus some contact with BeautyBay themselves (although no response to the second email I sent). So, all in all, I'm pretty disappointed in the way that the item got from A to B, especially as it was supposedly only travelling a few miles within Manchester. Also, I was particularly disappointed that it was promised to me before Christmas as it was ordered as a gift for someone. On the basis of these delivery issues, I'm unlikely to use BeautyBay again.

“Horrible service”

Order made on 1 November 2013 for items over 100 pounds. HAVE NOT RECEIVED ORDER as to-date (at least 6 weeks have passed). Have checked with local post office and they have no trace of package. Have e-mailed Beauty Bay several times and save for one reply assuring me the items were on the way (which appears to be a complete lie), they haven't bothered to respond to my further enquiries. Very very annoyed and frustrated as these are Christmas gifts and am very surprised that they've just chosen to ignore a genuine customer query. Would never ever deal with them again.

I am so worried about my order I placed with Beautybay after reading the bad reviews on here, I know I will get my money back as I placed my order through Paypal, I will be so upset and annoyed if it does not turn up as I have used this site to order most of my daughters Christmas presents, she is a make up artist and adores Anastasia, Zoeva etc. I spent roughly £90 and got free delivery as I spent over £15 on the site. I normally check out reviews for companies I have not used before but my daughter told me this was a good site so I just ordered, I now have serious doubts, my account on the site shows that my order has been shipped, I am not going to email them as it seems pointless going by reviews on here, I placed my order on 9th December so I know it's only 5 days ago but I am worried, also I am unsure if this company is in the UK? Can someone please advise me? Thanks

hi, you poor thing you must be so worried... Beauty Bay are quite weird they are either really good or really bad! I had a similar thing happen and i just plagued the life out of them, left messages on their facebook page for everyone to see, sent emails and telephoned them until someone answered. The telephone is what worked and when a member of staff did eventually answer she was so helpful and everything got sorted out very quickly. The other thing i might consider if i was you is to tell them if you don't have a resolution from them you will be left with no alternative but to open a paypal dispute, this might just poke them into action. I really hope this helps and that you get it sorted out very soon :)

Hi! They are 100% genuine. I've placed several orders with them and always been very happy. I first heard about them about 18 months ago - they were running a TV advert that featured overnight on ITV. I was wary too at the time (having never heard of them before) but it turned out to be nothing to worry about. If you're really concerned just pay via paypal where you're more protected if you have any problems (which I strongly doubt you will). There are some bargains on there - have a quick google for voucher/cashback offers before you pay though. I've managed to get an extra 20% off coupon before! Go for it xxx
