After seven years use it's back to leather boots, if only to have dry feet. Comfortable, good fell walking boot in dry season. Hopeless winter boot in wet conditions. Do not even consider "bog trotting " in these.

Karrimor KSB boots looked ok in blue & good price in Outdoor sale. However, I have had 2 pairs now & both leaked in very short periods of time. All i wanted was somthing to put on in the morning to walk my dogs around a field of short grass & hopefully not get my feet wet but also able to wear out. Question - why do they keep saying waterproof when there not! Now have pair of "Orkneys" seem ok up to now.

Don't buy if you want dry feet. Second time I've bought boots with 'event' waterproofing systems (first pair not Karrimor) and both times they've failed well before12 months of use. Will stick to boots with goretex linings from now on.

A good pair of value boots for general three season low level walking

Although I didnt have to break them in, I have been walking for 20+ years so have hard feet. Excellent 2 season hill boot and brilliant as a walk in boot for climbs.
