“Perfect nights sleep”

★★★★★

written by vij01 on 08/11/2016

We now own 2 of these mattresses for both my daughters who both love them. We bought one initially and later bought the second. I myself have slept on this and can honestly say its better than my current mattress which was twice the cost. When I replace my mattress, it will be with an Ergoflex. If you are hesitant about ordering a mattress online; don't be. This mattress is so comfortable, doesn't heat up like some foam mattresses and supports you in your sleep. Its great for a good nights sleep.

“The best mattress I have ever had”

★★★★★

written by Taylorat495 on 08/11/2016

I purchased the king size ergoflex mattress on the recommendation of a friend. I was no disappointed from going onto the mattress to writing this review. It was easy to order online with enough information to give you a good overview of the mattress but not too much to boggle the mind. I received email notifications pormptly, letting me know exact dates and times. When the package arrived the mattress was rolled up. instructions to unpack the mattress were simple and easy to follow. I have never looked back since. The mattress is very comfy.it took my a couple of night's to adjust as I was used to a sprung mattress. now I sleep throughout the night without waking up having to re-position like I did with my old mattress. it feels as if I'm floating when led on it. would highly recommend.

“Ace mattress! Already recommended!”

★★★★★

written by yfPorter116 on 08/11/2016

Already recommended it to my son, he's bought one for his home, The mattress is lighter in weith than the previous item so was easier to locate into the bedroom, having spent a few nights on it both my wife and myself commented on how cool and comfortable it was and I noticed how once I had gotten into a 'sleeping' position I woke up in the same spot and more rested as a result, the only downside I can think of is that once we're 'done' with it there probably won't be another life in it so it will have to be recycled, but that's a long way off !

“Second mattress purchased”

★★★★★

written by kgBanks160 on 08/11/2016

We did our homework some years ago when deciding to purchase our first Ergoflex Memory Foam mattress, it was a special order Super European King size we were so delighted with it so firm and comfortable for my back problem. So much so that when we moved home we decided to purchase another King Size for our spare bedroom for visitors. They a are so delighted that they too have purchased from Ergoflex. My only problem with the mattress is that the company have changed the thickness dimension from 10" to 8 " I feel a cost cutting exercise, I did like the higher mattress height. Would wholeheartedly recommend any Ergoflex mattress over its competitors Letford

“Even better the second time”

★★★★★

written by malfcoops on 29/10/2016

8 years ago I wanted to change my mattress and I decided to try a memory foam one, I researched a lot of the available manufacturers, looking for the way that they constructed there mattress's and of all the dozen or so that I researched the Ergoflex impressed me the most as it had 9cm 85kg/m3 hd visco-elastic memory foam for body-shaping, pressure-relieving support, 5cm cool-sleep airflow system for temperature regulation and 9cm High Resilience impact-resistant foundation base layer. We enjoyed using that mattress for 8 years and although it was still very comfortable, I decided to keep to my 8 year plan and renew the mattress and I didn't hesitate in again choosing Ergoflex and I haven't been disappointed as the new mattress is even more comfortable than the first. If anyone is thinking of buying a more expensive brand, then don't waste your money.

“Everything I wanted from a mattress (King Size...”

★★★★★

written by benc87 on 28/10/2016

I originally had an Ergoflex mattress which I was extremely happy with (this is now in the spare bedroom) given the task of finding another mattress the first thought I had was to try Ergoflex again. I saw that the mattress design had been upgraded, I also noticed that the mattress market appears to be much more saturated. I compared these products and decided to stick with Ergoflex, why?; I'd previously had this mattress before and loved it. These mattresses are the comfiest I've ever had. Each time we stay in another bed me and my partner realise how good ours is, and we can't wait to get back to ours. Value for money (Tempur is the name everyone thinks of, but very expensive). 10 year warranty (I'm not sure how good this is as I've not had to use it). The thickness of memory foam.(Still the highest compared to rivals). Exceptional customer service. Great sleep (I wake up without aches if I've previously been aching from exercise.) The new mattress (King Size meets everything expectation I've had from this company - I regularly tell friends and family of the quality of this product. Only problem is I struggle to get out of bed each morning!

So far so good. An excellent purchase. Ordering process was easy and delivery info good. Sellers response to emails was also good. The mattress took a few nights to get used to as I have never slept on a memory foam mattress before. It is now very comfortable. So impressed that I bought the pillows to go with it! I would definately recommend this product. It is great value for money.

“BEST MATTRESS EVER: AMAZING SLEEP AND NO MORE BODY ACHE :)”

★★★★★

written by rubia.granj on 03/10/2016

We bought Ergoflex memory foam mattresses at the beginning of 2013 thanks to a friend's recommendation and it 100% the best mattresses ever!!!!!! It has been almost 4 years and we absolutely love our Ergoflex mattresses. All our visitors love them too!!! My husband has only 1 complaint: it is almost impossible to get out of the bed, too comfortable  After all those years sleeping on the mattress he is still complaining about how comfortable they are and how difficult is to get out of the bed in the morning. We both travel for work very frequently and one of our most precious treasures is to come home to our lovely mattress!!! It provides such a great support to your body, it relieves the pressure but still feels so comfortable, if feels as if you are being hugged by the mattress. I used to wake with my body aching and back pain in the morning but since 2013 it is gone! Besides, there is a 30 days trial and 10 years guarantee outlines how confident Ergoflex is about their products! I loved the fact that the covers are washable and it has anti-allergic properties. Additional bonus is customer service; it has always been great during all my purchases, very friendly trying to help customers and prompt delivery. Why am I here writing about what I bought almost 4 years ago? Because we loved our comfortable mattresses so much that we are purchasing another one for the spare bedroom and treating ourselves with some Ergoflex pillows, cannot wait to sleep with our new pillows. Thanks Ergoflex for a great sleep resulting in happy mornings!!!

“Backache”

written by cocochops on 01/10/2016

We slept on a Tempur mattress for 15 years and it had come to the end of it's life and although it had been the best mattress we had ever slept on i didn't want spend a fortune on a new one.So after looking on the internet and doing some research i decided on the Ergoflex. We have had it now for 5 months and we are both getting lower back pain.I get up with back ache in the morning and after a while my backache disappears only to return during the night so clearly it's the mattress.I'm so fed up with backache i have ordered another Tempur and the Ergoflex is going on Ebay. These two mattresses are no where near the same as Ergoflex would have you believe and i do feel that i've been tricked.

“Fantastic”

Ordered Ergo flex 5G on the 24.9.16 , prompt delivery on the 26.9.16 only issue is mattress is heavy and requires 2 ppl to carry .Left mattress for approx 9 hrs to fully expand , able to use my current bed sheets as they were of a good depth (bonus) . I suffer from a chronic back condition and have very disturbed sleep pattern due to waking in pain and having to alternate position frequently - this affect me during the day as well . My last mattress was 12 months old not a memory foam ( had tried that a before did get on with it it sagged), it come t the stage this newer mattress was awful no pressure relief even hubby was moaning how uncomfortable it was. We searched the internet looked at loads of products but Ergoflex seemed to have the most positive reviews , and i can honestly say after 1 night sleep on our new mattress it was bliss i can't recall waking during the night certainly reduced pain , and i feel great this morning - i can move don't feel as rigid as i normally would on first waking in the morning. I would highly recommend this Ergoflex 5G, it doesn't remove my back condition but it certainly aids a peaceful sleep- Hubby slept well said it was so comfortable didn't wasn't to get out of bed.

“Marvellous Mattress!”

★★★★★

written by on 10/05/2016

I have never slept on a memory foam before - I looked at the Tempur King Size and gave up when I found it was knocking on £3,000! I then did an internet search and discovered Ergoflex and read their comparison with Tempur - virtually no difference. I was also impressed with the 30 day tryout period and the 10 year guarantee. Although the first night was strange after two nights I was sleeping like a baby. Today we received delivery of a second (double) mattress for the spare room, we were that impressed with the King Sized. My husband has two knee replacement joints and finds that the ergoflex supports his knees much better than a regular mattress. I have a back problem and find I get a good nights sleep without any pain. Thank you.

I was already sleeping on a cheaper memory foam mattress and was having issues with lower back pain and could not get comfortable at all. Ordered the double size in the sale and have to say I cannot believe the difference this mattress has made. It is so comfortable, like sleeping on marshmallows. Absolutely brilliant and would firmly recommend it to anyone. The best bargain buy I have ever made....

“Absolutely the best!”

★★★★★

written by Deansgirl on 27/04/2016

I have suffered with a terrible bad back since I was in junior school and always woke up in agony. I'm now 40 and at the age of 38, my then boyfriend told me I had a surprise coming the next day so make sure I was in. I was expecting something like a bunch flowers so when a huge lorry pulled up with a long box, I was baffled. Inside was my gorgeous Ergoflex double mattress. I have to admit, I was slightly gutted to receive a mattress but after that first night of pain free sleep, I was more than happy and extremely grateful. It's honestly the most amazingly comfortable mattress I have EVER slept on. My whole body just sinks into it but giving me that superb support at the same time. I would recommend it to anyone in search of a new mattress. Please, don't look elsewhere!

“Sent it back, but the 30 day trial is as good as its word”

★★★★☆

written by nhHodges40 on 14/04/2016

My wife found this comfortable, but I found it a bit too firm. I waited the 30 days and then instigated the 30 day return option. All worked smoothly and the refund appeared in my account after a week or so. The friendly collection chaps (collected free) said most returns were either too firm or too warm. But if you want to give it a go, there is nothing to lose, they are friendly, efficient, and the 30 day trial was no hassle.

“Stunning individually tailored back support for 16 years”

★★★★★

written by oceansfourteen on 11/04/2016

I have had an Ergoflex mattress for 16 years and have just ordered my second one. In all that time, the memory foam in the matress has moulded to my body shape giving a very luxurious yet precisely tailored support for sleeping. Just wish my chairs during the day were so comfortable! It is also worth noting that the air-flow system does keep you that bit cooler which is unusual for a memory foam object. On the double mattress, you can both sleep in the same bed without your movements affecting the other person at all - excellent if you're married to a sleep fidget!! My new mattress arrived on Saturday as arranged. No hassle, friendly delivery. If you suffer with a bad back or, hell, even if you don't - get one of these mattresses NOW!!

written by mnHealy26 on 05/04/2016

This matters has greatly improved both the quantity and quality of my sleep. I relax more quickly. I sleep through the night and would recommend this product to anyone. I would describe this product as a necessity.. The only negative is that I don't want to get out of bed in the mornings because it is so cosy!! I like how warm it is and how much more comfortable for my back and neck.

“Simply the best”

★★★★★

written by Mandyjane11 on 20/03/2016

Have suffered a floppy mattress for far too long so took the plunge and ordered an Ergoflex mattress and boy what a difference it's made. No more back pain or numb arms (front sleeper). When it arrived by UPS the courier wheeled in this box and we thought he'd delivered the wrong item as no way did it look like a mattress?? Once the vacuum was released and placed on the bed frame within an hour and like magic a kingsize mattress appeared My only initial mistake was to use my existing protector /topper and what was I thinking ? For another £50 the experience was completed, the old protector just didn't work. Would so recommend this mattress and protector to everyone and although sometimes sceptical of so many positive reviews I shouldn't have been they were right it is an amazing mattress and so comfortable

Having suffered from an aching back since having an operation 24 years ago, I have found the Ergoflex memory foam mattress to be the only mattress to ease the problem and certainly not make it worse. An ergoflex mattress is not cheap but, in my opinion, worth the investment for an improved night's sleep. The mattress is medium firm but the memory foam moulds to your body shape giving extra support thereby creating a "firmer" feel. Hope this helps

I used to suffer from backache. Since buying an Ergoflex, must be seven or eight years ago now, I have had no back problems whatsoever. They are quite firm, but I find them very comfy. I will be buying another when this one gets too old, but it still feels like new at the moment.

They are very good mattresses, but I wouldn't say they have that sinking feeling you are looking for. That said, I use another sheet on top of the mattress cover so that makes it less "sinky". Not overly firm, but enough to give good back support. I haven't tried other brands to compare against, this was my first memory foam type. Had it about seven years now, and will probably replace it with the same when the time comes.

Report this content Lasnier Written on: 06/12/2014
Ergoflex mattresses are really good for that, we find. Some memory foam mattresses are worse than others in that respect, e.g. some Tempur mattresses (especially older models) - you sink, you simply can't turn over easily; it's almost like smothering, so you can get really hot. I bought an Ergoflex mattress for my mum, who lives in the South of France, is slightly plump, and is continuously hot (think about someone who opens windows in the office in winter!), and she's delighted with it - not feeling hot at all. When we use it when we visit (in the summer), we find that it's excellent too: its surface resilience means that it gives enough support without you sinking into it and heating up! (And the Cool-Sleep Airflow System probably helps too.) If you have an existing memory foam mattress in which you feel hot, it could be because of its foam density, or its age (they will eventually sag), or its incompatibility with your own size/weight (just a fact - I'm not judging). The solution there could be a cotton protector, which will help to make you sink less anyway, but it's much better to go for a special cover like Coolmax or Outlast (I've used both and find Outlast definitively more effective). Combine cotton and Outlast if necessary, but remember that the more stiff stuff (e.g. cotton protector) between you and the mattress also means that the "memory" effect will take longer to work, since it works with your body heat too!

I don't think it is hot for me but each person is different. The warmth helps with poor blood circulation in my back as my lower back is always cold. My partner however finds it a bit warm sometimes though we both agree it is perfect in the winter. We use only a 10 tog duvet by the way. Don't think we need moore. In the summer we use only a thin blanket to and we always use a mattress protector as mentioned elsewhere here. Hope that helps.

I can't comment on Tempur mattresses but have been totally happy with the Ergoflex we purchased. My advice would be to go a shop and try them out - it is a very individual choice. I would say the Ergoflex is definitely medium to firm as described - there is no body imprint when you get up. Hope this helps.

We purchased Ergoflex mattress 1,5 years ago. The decission was based on very good- almost too fabulous to believe - reviews. We have found out that the mattress is not very special in any way. We had to buy very expensive topper(not from the same company) to make it suitable for us. I really believe that the success is based on really clever marketing more than on the product itself.
Report this content missfire Written on: 22/07/2014
I can't comment on Tempur either. However I will say that my Ergoflex is the most comfy bed and pillows I have ever had and the service when purchasing was absolutely brilliant. The only problem I have had with the mattress is that when I went to flip it (I know you don't have to but I did) I noticed a big patch of mould on the mattress. Initially Ergoflex were great and answered my emails about it but after requesting photos (which I sent early January 14) I never heard back from Ergoflex - which is massively dissappointing. My house is a normal terraced property which was fully gutted and renovated 3 years ago prior to purchase of the bed, along with double glazing put and insulation (again proof provided to company) and I sleep all weathers with a bit of window open. Apparently, I am not alone in this but its also not that common. Gutted is the best way to describe. So review is amazing product however if you have a problem you are on your own.

Good value for money provided you buy at the right time (discounts vary). I agree with other reviewers that Ergoflex mattresses are on the firm side of memory foam but I have found that it works for me. Obviously the best option is to try before buying and here Tempur wins. But for that and for their advertising budget you pay a very hefty price indeed.

We like yourself considered a Tempur mattress, but after reading all the great reviews about Ergoflex we decided to buy one. We have never regretted this decision. After two years the mattress is still as good as when we first purchased it, and backache in a morning is a thing of the past.

Like others I cannot comment on the Tempur mattress. However I have bought 3 Ergoflex mattresses over the last 7/8 years and they have been a revelation. I really do not have a bad word to say about them, I would buy with confidence and I would have no hesitation in buying another and I wouldn't even look at alternatives. My parents stayed over a few times and they have a Tempur mattress at home and my mum swears that the Ergoflex she sleeps on at mine is cooler to sleep on than the Tempur, that's the only insight I would offer you. I can't believe you could do better than the Ergoflex though.

I bought a Tempur pillow before we got Ergoflex and the Ergoflex pillow is just as good. I haven't tried a Tempur so cannot comment however, based on price and comfort, I wouldn't change from an Ergoflex. As already stated in other reviews choosing a mattress is personal so if you can, try a Tempur, otherwise, take the plunge and buy the Ergoflex and save yourself a load of money.

I've owned 2 Tempur mattresses as well as a couple of Ergoflex. I slept really good on both of them. I've been very happy with my Ergoflex and I see no reason to pay more money for the Tempur. But try them both out and see if you can tell the difference. I couldn't justify the price difference.

Hi I would recommend ERGOFLEX. I currently have one having bought it to replace a Tempur mattress that I could not get on with ( had it a couple of months). I get the most comfort from this mattress over any other. I suffer from back & leg pain due to having had 2 discs removed and a spinal fusion. I found that I could not turn over on the Tempur and it did not provide comfortable support for my back. ERGOFLEX for me is far superior. Good luck

Although I am very pleased with the Ergoflex mattress I bought about a year ago, in retrospect I wish I had saved up and gone for the Tempur as I have never seen a bad review and friends who have got one rave about the quality. If you can get a shop display Tempur mattress on eBay then go for it!

I tried Tempur, for 1 night, at my friends and it was very, very comfortable- no aches or pains even after a night out dancing. I decided to buy memory foam after that but didn't want to spend the 100's needed for a Tempur one. I bought a double Ergoflex memory foam mattress and love it. I have good sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. I bought one for my daughter. My bloke bought one too, after trying mine. I have a single in the spare room for appreciative guests. Yep, I can recommend Ergoflex as being good value and helping relaxed sleep. After 3 years there are signs of wear as it has lost some of the initial firmness but I remain satisfied. I feel the difference after sleeping on normal mattresses when I wake up with aching shoulder and hip joints. N.B. It does need a good old airing before use and a supportive base, with small gaps if slatted.

Buy Ergoflex - you really won't be disappointed, and they are really excellent value; but if you are disappointed, or if there's a problem, you can return it within 14 days - look for "Returns".

I've had a night on a tempur and now the happy owner of an ergoflex, since 2011. I would say the tempur is best but with regards to finances I went for ergoflex which enables a great night sleep for me. I would recommend it for anyone on a budget. But, like one answer states, it is a personal thing, so trial first.

My sister has a Tempur and said my Ergoflex is just as comfy at half the price!
