“Poor Value”

Received flowers for mothers day from son, did not appear to be arranged, just stuffed in a plastic bag in the box, threw away the vast amount of packaging and arranged in a vase. Arrived late afternoon Sunday, Tuesday, three stems wilted and fit for the bin. A recent £5.99 bouquet from Lidl lasted 2 weeks. M&S used to be a mark of quality, definitely not for flowers.

“Mothers day flowers ”

Flowers were pre ordered and delivered as soon as they were avaliable on the 9th before the weekend of mothers day. They were delivered on time with email and txt updates on delivery. Arrived looking good with some still in bud. It has been over a week now and my Mother sent me a photo as the flowers still look amazing. I am going to purchase again this week for mothers birthday. Everyone has different experiences sometimes we have to make our own to know for sure.

“Very dissapointed, wont order again”

I ordered my mams flowers for mothers day, they did arrive on said date but came in a box, petals of the roses were starting to turn brown and wilt, did not look no where near fresh!!£40 bouquet, would not recomend.

I ordered flowers for mother’s day. I cannot see my 91 year old mum because of COVID so I thought I’d cheer her up on mother’s day. How wrong could o be. I ordered flowers from Marks & Spencer in plenty of time for mother’s day. They did not arrive. I called the next morning after waiting on hold for 30 minutes. I was told sorry about that we’ll send them next Friday!!!!! I asked to speak to a manager but was told that no one was available. I asked them to get a manager to call me when they were available. No one called me. Disgusting, disgraceful, disappointed and awful customer service. DON’T use Marks & Spencer

“Mothering day flowers from M&S”

My daughters ordered a bouquet , on arrival heads of flowers were broken, not the flowers ordered. Daughters very upset as these were ordered 3 weeks earlier. Very poor service from a renowned company. Won’t be getting anymore. Thoroughly disappointed.

I've just reseved some flowers off my son and daughter in law for mother's day when I opened them four heads fell off, roses partly dead and tulips droopy would not recommend to anyone thank you.

“DEAD ON ARRIVAL”

A gift of flowers for my birthday from my niece would have been an absolute delight had it not been for the fact that they were dumped on our doorstop in a crumpled cardboard box. Upside down, and soaking wet. The flower heads were crushed and some were broken off. A sprig of a daisy like flower in the centre of the arrangement had obviously rotted many days previously and spread itself all over the blooms. The arrangemnt was only fit for the dustbin.

Received some fresh flowers from m&s some of them did not open only lasted a few days before going into the bin ,at 25 pounds the quality should be better.I HAD FLOWERS FROM ALDI LASTED FOR WEEKS.

“Flowers wilted after 4 days. Many haven’t opened ”

The flowers I had delivered started to wilt after 4 days and 6 days in and they are almost dead, with many that haven’t even opened. I’ve had cheap £4 Tesco bunches of flowers last longer. In fact they have lasted 2 weeks plus These were definitely not worth £35!

“M&S Gift Message is cheap, shabby and hidden”

REF: ORDER NUMBER: 301-0030471-8194882 The Valentine's Day flowers arrived perfectly timed and presented, but no Gift Message in sight! The Gift Message Card is what it is all about. Get that wrong and you have wasted your money. We dug the box out of the dustbin and checked the address label. Guess what, there was a cheap, nasty, tacky little tear-off section of the actual address label that had my message in tiny letters, badly set out, just squeezed up in the top of the available space. I would recommend no one to use a service where your precious message is disrespected and so poorly presented and likely to be thrown away with the box. Why spend all that effort getting the flowers right when the vital message has to be retrieved from the dustbin to find it! M&S - you should be better that this.

“Expensive and short shelf life”

I received a bunch of £40 (I looked it up) boxed flowers for my birthday. When they arrived they looked beautiful initially, but not a great amount for the money. The roses all openened fully on the second day and after 10 days I am ready to throw them away. I have had better quality flowers from Aldi for a fraction of the price. It is embarrassing to mention it to the gift giver, but it is disgusting that such a big operator gets away with delivering such poor quality flowers.

“Embarrassing present”

The daffodil bouquet was pictured as a huge bunch of assorted daffodils with an explanation that they might arrive in bud. It arrived as 9 rubber band tied bunches of extremely tight buds and 1 bunch of tulips [also in a rubber band] They were supposed to be32cm but were between 22 & 25cm long. As they open it is clear that they are all small single headed narcissi and no larger daffodils as shown on the order site and no variety

“Absolutely shocking. ”

Yodel driver dropped box on my driveway, smashed champagne bottle, damaged flowers, never bothered to ring doorbell or let anyone know. Buyer was emailed to say flowers Were delivered. We had to contact marks to let them know. New flowers were sent out 2 days later and bunch was half the size of original order. No credit or refund or any compensation was offered. I would have expected more from Marks and to be honest you can better flowers out of the petrol garage. Totally wasted the birthday surprise and will never use them again. Please do not use.!!!!!!

“Quality of flowers ”

Recently ordered flowers for mothers birthday. Arrived on stated day. Flowers poor quality, large yellow crysthan missing, was main reason I ordered it as like these flowers. Too much greenery felt like it was put in to make up for lack of flowers. Flowers started dying after 4th day. Disappointing purchase, nothing special could have purchased better in supermarket. Would not buy again or recommend

My husband ordered flowers(with chocolates) on 4th June for our 56th Anniversary on 6th June. He was notified they had been sent out at 1a.m. on 6th. Nothing arrived. Due to Covid-19 we couldn't go out as usual, so had planned a lovely meal at home followed by a movie. All day my husband was on edge, looking for these flowers (I didn't know about them at this stage) - so it spoilt his day. Flowers should have arrived between 7a.m. and 7p.m.on 6th June. By 7p.m., we were finishing out meal, with coffee and chocolates (luckily I had already had some delivered as yours did NOT arrive with the flowers). Finally on Sunday 7th June at 10.25a.m. I heard a car screeching away from my home. I opened the door, and there was a box with my flowers, and chocolates which had been travelling since 1.00a.m. on 6th. I could have travelled the whole length of UK in that time. Our Special day was spoilt. Luckily we are a strong couple and our own preparations for a nice day were lovely. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in your delivery and service

“Dead Flowers Delivers”

I was sent Roses and Tulip Duo as a leaving gift from work. All the yellow roses were dead only delivery and within 24hrs the tulips were losing petals. Absolutely terrible quality flowers. I emailed customer services and still have heard nothing back. Really would not recommend their flowers

“delivery not left in a safe place”

I have not seen these flowers nor the chocolates ordered to accompany them. However I do know that they were left on a doorstep for 2 hours until the recipient was alerted by a neighbour. They were not left in a porch as reported there is no porch and the delivery photo shows the parcel on the doorstep. I understand from the recipient and neighbour that the delivery man did not knock. Had it not been for the neighbour the parcel could have been there all day by which time both flowers and chocolates would have been worse for wear or could have been stolen. Please M&S at this troubled time alert your delivery firm to make sure that goods particularly perishables are safely delivered

“disappointed terribly”

I recently received a very disappointing"large summer garden planter" from marks and spencer. The planter was delivered as requested. when opened the planter was firmly fixed in its cardboard box but when planter was lifted out the lavender plant was just about hanging on other plant were damaged, buds off the plants were in the bottom of the box along with a considerable amount of the compost/soil. This planter had obviously been dropped or thrown about despite several notices on the package adb]vising handlers to keep the box upright. Yodel were the deliverers. When I spoken to my friend who had sent this present, she contacted m&s the next day who yes reimbursed her the money, but stated that they (m&s) had had trouble with this item and had had several complaints. Why do m&s continue to sell this product or find a different carrier. I must add that I was extremely disappointed and in this present climate feel very let down
