“80th birthday disappointment”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Mimimonster on 14/05/2015

Flowers ordered for a cousin's 80th birthday (VERY SPECIAL!). Of course they took the money and confirmed the delivery for May 8th. The flowers did not arrive until 3 days later! I tried to call them (long distance from Canada as they had no toll free number) Was left on hold for ages ($$$$$) and then disconnected. I write an e-mail on the 8th to ask what was going on and several days later have not received a reply. I see from other reviews that this is not unusual. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE AND DISCOURAGE OTHERS FROM DOING SO. I should have checked the reviews ahead of time. I would have avoided this disappointment. Also they said they had live chat but they don't!

basically theft from credit card as this company took my money and never delivered the flowers to France. Despite contacting them I got a refund of £7 on a £22 order. Don't trust them

“Read the fine print”

★☆☆☆☆

written by TylerGallegos on 04/04/2015

My daughter is studying abroad in France and we wanted to send some flowers for her 21st birthday. They said they would be delivered on the 25th. The first attempt to deliver was a day late. My daughter had college classes until noon so she missed the first delivery attempt at 9am. We asked customer service to request an afternoon delivery. They referred to their policy that they would not allow requested delivery times. Second delivery attempt was at 9am again. A week later we gave up and my daughter had to find the delivery office and go down and pick them up. Needless to say they were mostly dead.

“Buy a Mercedes get a smart car”

★★☆☆☆

written by on 29/03/2015

The analogy is that I bought a lovely looking Scarlet bouquet for a relatives birthday for £50, what she got was a bunch of roses with some green bits worth about a tenner.I have had much better from my local florist for a lot less. I only know because she sent me a photo to say 'thanks'. I contacted Iflorist and was bumbed off with the usual seasonal excuse. I expected some slight difference but this was way off. To me this looked like a half interested attempt not expecting that I would ever see the result.Offered a £5 voucher which I will never use.

“Terrible experience”

★☆☆☆☆

written by highlandlady_scotland on 27/03/2015

I ordered Mothers Day special delivery flowers for a Sunday this year. The flowers were not delivered until Tuesday afternoon, by which point they had been with several couriers and arrived almost completely dead. When I contacted Customer services by phone they were rude and unhelpful and told me that the free delivery specifies that it can take up to 48 hours. This was not written at the checkout when I selected Mothers Day as it was a special Mothers Day delivery service! Why would I select flowers for two days after Mothers day! When the rude Customer Service agent would not offer me anything other than £10 off my next order (I will NEVER order from them again so what use is this) I was then passed the email address of the supervisor. In total, 6 emails were sent to her and 1 to customer services. All of which have gone unanswered. My mum was very disappointed with her bunch of almost dead flowers and I am out of pocket and one very dissatisfied customer. I will NEVER use iFlorist again and would not recommend them under any circumstances.

“Terrible product and service. Avoid this company!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by rjgr on 27/03/2015

I ordered flowers for Mothers Day at a cost of £44.90.I was shocked to receive a phone call from my Mum to say the flowers that arrived were dry, brown and had handfuls of leaves falling off them. I immediately contacted iflorist and sent them photographs of the dead flowers they had delivered, but it was only after sending them three emails and placing an unfavourable review on another site that I finally got a response. They agreed that the flowers were unacceptable, but only refunded £22.73. I contacted them again to say that I was entitled to a full refund and again, recieved no response. After a second email I got a message to confirm they had refunded 50% and no other comment. I have now emailed for the third time demanding a full refund and am still yet to receive a reply. Since using this appalling company I have seen many similar negative reviews regarding their products and services. I wish I had seen them before ordering! The product they provided was not fit for purpose, therefore I am entitled to a full refund. It is time that trading standards took a look at this company and I will be taking up the matter with them.

my son ordered me a bouquet of flowers including freesias (my favourite ) for mothers day but I received tulips ! which didn't even last a week. I'm very disappointed with the flowers and when my son complained he only received a £5 voucher which I am sure he will not be using. surley a full refund or replacement should have been given.

“No flowers for Mothers Day”

★☆☆☆☆

written by LibbyKing190 on 25/03/2015

Sent flowers to France for Mothers Day; ordered in plenty of time 9th March. Never use this company to send flowers; they shouldn't be in business. I did manage to get a refund after raising two tickets on their website; couldn't actually get through to someone on the phone as the number doesn't work.

“Terrible, dreadful, awful”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Jjvs on 24/03/2015

Ordered flowers for mothers day whilst away skiing. Sunday came, no flowers, tried contacting call centre 3x but to no avail. Each time (whilst calling from abroad) hanging on for between 10-15 minutes before giving up. Finally got through to call center on fourth attempt to be told, problem with delivery (having paid £6 extra for this 'service' and receiving many parcels from this company without problems) Politely asked not to deliver the flowers on any other day as the wife and kids would not be in and were upset enough, I was told I could not cancel! Flowers were then 'dropped' in my garden 2 days late, no signature, brown, lifeless and wilted. No one has got back to me still to this date!! Disputed it with Paypal, they do not cover flowers! £ 49 pounds for this service and seriously, the size of the wilted, brown bunch of flowers was reminiscent of a cheap perol station afterthought! What a disgusting service and experience, why do we still have traders like this, stay well clear!

“I ordered 2 bouquets, spending a bit more than usual...”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Pippa194 on 23/03/2015

I ordered 2 bouquets, spending a bit more than usual as it seemed a good offer. I paid a premium for mothing Sunday delivery. One bouquet was delivered on the Saturday which looked nothing like the ordered one. The flowers were dead and not the flowers or colour I ordered. They said they had delivered them early incase they weren't able to deliver them on the Sunday as had been paid for! The second bouquet were delivered on Monday night after many irate emails. This bouquet was laughable! There was one yellow tulip that could only just stand up dupe to its age and a brown rose. Even the foliage had had it! I ordered pink Lilly's! They told me if I read the small print they can change my order due to availability! The whole thing was a joke! They also forgot to deliver the balloon and chocolates! Dread to think what they would have been like. I have PayPal looking into it for me and although I now have the money back for 1 bouquet I have had no luck with the second. Don't buy from these people!

“Should have done my research”

★☆☆☆☆

written by peterherring on 23/03/2015

I really should have check this company out thoroughly before ordering. To echo the other reviewers, I ordered my flowers to be delivered on 15th for Mother's Day. They arrived on Saturday and when I complained they were not interested and tried to fob me off. To make matters worse the flowers started to wilt within two day and did not last the week. So, to sum up my experience....appalling service, appalling quality

“No Show, Terrible Customer Service”

★☆☆☆☆

written by CamdenMorrow on 20/03/2015

March 10th, I ordered some flowers for Mother's Day. Selected their free delivery option and selected the 14th as a delivery date. The 14th comes and goes, as does Mother's Day - no flowers. Tracking page shows that there's been a "Pre-advice Received" by Royal Mail. I put in a support ticket and explained I had not received the flowers and asked when I could expect to receive them. Their response was that the free delivery service is 48 hours AFTER the selected delivery date. I don't recall seeing this explained anywhere on the delivery page - but as a customer, I expect the delivery date to be the date the flowers arrive at their destination. If iFlorist know it takes 48 hours for free delivery service why not send my package 2 days before my delivery date to ensure they get there on the date I selected? Anyway, I decided to wait and see if the flowers will show up as I've already told my mum to expect something. Thursday 19th - still no flowers. I contacted support again explaining that the flowers are long overdue and that the tracking page is still unchanged and requested a refund. Response was "Your order went out for delivery but appears to have been lost in transit, I have now refunded your account please allow 3-7 working days to see this appear in your account" - I don't buy it. Not only that there was no apology at all. As for the refund? I paid £20.29 and they refunded me £19.90. Save yourself the hassle - don't buy from iFlorist.

“IFLORIST ARE RUBBISH!! ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by 102Wren on 20/03/2015

I clicked on an iflorist email offering free delivery for Mothers Day flowers on the Saturday immediately before Mothers Day. I ordered flowers and received an email order confirmation clearly stating Delivery Date: 14 March 2015. The flowers were not delivered until the Monday AFTER Mothers Day, and were in dreadful condition - virtually dead: the stems had to be almost removed in order to revive the few remaining live flowers. I raised a "support ticket" on the florist website on the Monday, and never received a response. I managed to get hold of iflorist by phone on the Friday and was told that when I selected "free delivery" for my order there was a "pop-up" message advising this would mean flowers are delivered 48hours after the selected date. If there was such a message it must have been small and instant because if I'd seen it I would not have ordered the flowers let alone include a message wishing my mother a happy Mothers Day the next day. iflorist could not explain why their email and order confirmation both clearly showed the free delivery option for pre-Mothers Day and also the delivery date of 14th March, nor were they interested to solve the issue. They offered me a £10 gift certificate, which I refused because to use it would have meant I had to use them again - and I never will. I shall also help tp spread the word about how they operate, in the hope that future Mums, wives, daughters, etc etc aren't left disappointed by their abysmal attitude and service.

“Delivered on wrong day”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Walkere211 on 20/03/2015

I have used this company last year and they were fine, but this year they delivered the flowers on 14th not the 15th as requested. Reading all the other reviews here I cannot believe that they are still in business. They will certainly not be getting mine again.

“iflorist your an absolute disgrace !!! ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Haynesmx187 on 20/03/2015

I cried this Mother's Day 15/03/2015, I cried because you as a company ruined everything, on the 8/03/2015 I placed an order for flowers for my mum as I wanted to bring a smile to her face on Mother's Day & your service guaranteed delivery on Mother's Day itself, I was over the moon & felt a pang of excitement wishing I'd love to be able to see her little face light up on this Mothering Sunday morning, I knew I was going to be seeing my mum on the Tuesday following Mothering Sunday as she'd had bad news that her brother in law was sadly losing his battle for life, but I knew she'd bring her flowers with her on the drive from France back to the UK so she could enjoy whilst staying here, I also wanted her to smile as she had recently lost her own mum, my grandma & she had been finding it difficult accepting she wouldn't be able to see her own mum again & to add to all this she had also lost her little dog Darty who had also recently passed away, so you see I desperately wanted my mum to smile even if it was for only a little while & YOU took that smile away, like you took my money as quick too ! I've sent numerous emails, no reply, I've telephoned, no answer, your an absolute disgrace & believe me I will not rest until I've taken this matter further, if your a customer thinking of purchasing flowers from this company then my advice to you would be PLEASE DONT ! I've given you nearly 72 hours to respond & still nothing, I'm writing to watch dog as your an absolute disgrace & you've ruined not just my mums Mother's Day but a lot of others too ! Bet the owners or owner of iflorist have treated there mother lavishly on all the monies myself & others have paid out but got nothing in return !!!

“Don't bother!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Audrey424 on 19/03/2015

Sadly the whole experience with Flowerfete.co.uk / iflorist has been wholly unsatisfactory. Initially after many attempts of trying to order online, I was unable to do so due to your website not responding so called customer services instead and placed an order over the 'phone. I specifically wanted to order a bouquet of Freesia's, and was really pleased when I thought that this is what I had ordered. I now realise that without any prior contact or any mention in the e-mails telling me that my order is ready to be dispatched, that this has been changed to something completely different…..to something that I didn't want or order. Spent too much time trying to send a message via the website and was unsure if it had even sent as it doesn't seem to work properly. Apparently the e-mail address that I initially registered with when trying to order online for some reason isn't recognised so then had to hold for 15 mins to get through to a customer rep. If the company policy is to substitute orders for other things if they're no longer in stock then surely this should be pointed out on the 'phone at point of order and the customer should be instructed to read the terms and conditions as yours are clearly very different to other florists - I've never experienced substitution before? I have since left 2 messages for the manager asking for for a response and it's been ignored.

“Very poor service”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 19/03/2015

This review is written as the recipient of a Mothers Day bouquet ordered by my son. The bouquet in a box was delivered on Tuesday 17th March and left on the doorstep by a Hermes delivery person. I do not know the actual time of delivery as I was out until 12.45pm. Having waited in all day Sunday and Monday in anticipation of the delivery,I finally told my son to cancel the bouquet as it was a complete waste of time and money for him. It appeared he was unable to do so or there was some kind of administrative error. Without wishing to disappoint my son I have to say the flowers are half dead and certainly not worth waiting for considering the high cost involved. I will never use this company myself and will tell others not to bother either.

“Disgusted ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Griffithzp500 on 19/03/2015

Flowers ordered for Mothering Sunday ... iFlorist claim to guarantee delivery, so when flowers fail to arrive, I email to ask what happened ... company respond with 'you should allow 48hrs around the delivery date' and 'it's in the T&C' (the T&C section 5.5 tells me they guarantee Mothering Sunday flowers by Mothering Sunday!), tell me my order will be delivered on Monday ... Monday comes and Monday goes ... another email ... zero response and zero contact ... a phonecall to iFlorist connects me to a man who tells me that 'your flowers were returned damaged in transit' ... really? So where was my phonecall/ email/ notification of any sort that these day-late flowers were damaged, I say? "Oh, well our system is a bit all over the place at the moment and we've been having some issues," he says - you don't freaking say! He then tells me he can re-order the flowers if I want him to ... Have you cancelled the order then? I say ... is that what happens? You tell the customer the flowers were 'damaged', keep their money, don't deliver and wait and see if they complain before you send another bunch? He laughs and then asks me if I want the flowers - which he can't organise for same-day delivery - or if I want him to organise a refund ... I opt for a refund ... at which point he hangs up! Absolutely appalled.

Is this company safe to use? I ordered flowers to be delivered on 13th Feb, but they were never delivered, after several phone calls and sent messages they told me that they were with the courier, having checked with my bank they took the money out the next day after I ordered them (ordered well in advance). It's now 4 days after they should have been delivered, but not getting any replies to my emails or phone calls.

I'd say yes and no. They're a ligit company. But they don't run it ligitimately in my opinion! Email them - they usually reply quickly. However you'll either get a friendly reply or a rude one.... Either way, they'll think a £5 voucher to spend on their trash quality items will make it alright. I'd recommend a refund if I was you. Remember your consumer rights (good old Google will help if needed). Don't let them get away with it. They are a disgrace and I've learned you get what you pay for (hence will stick with the much more famous brandd - but not sure I can name them). My flowers arrived dead with missing chocolates. They replaced - but replacement didn't arrive when promised so they arrived dead again and still no chocolates - they said "chocolates are subject to availablilty" that's nonsense - subject to availability is regarding an ENTIRE order - either you get it all or you get none of it (and get a refund) they can't send you part of an order and say that's allowed. Hilarious! Don't let them get away with it. Good luck resolving your issue.

I would not recommend them at all. I wrote emails and eventually got a reply saying the flowers weren't that bad and refused to give me a refund. They are soon to take your money but when it comes to refunding..forget it.

This company is NOT reliable and I am sorry you got caught by their clever advertising and glamorous website,as I was. In my case the flowers destined for mothers' day were "only" delivered the next day,but they were not at all the ones I ordered and, already bumped during transport and half stale, they died within 30 hours after delivery...Not exactly the kind of gift you want for your beloved elderly mom! On top of it,the courier was rude to her because obviously late and rushing for his next appointment...I complained repeatedly and all they offered was a 5 £ voucher towards my next purchase! Useless to say I never used it. Now I send chocolates from a reputable manufacturer. Always on time, and always delicious ????
