I purchased an order from them about 2 months ago - recieved half of it about 2 weeks later (a bit late - but not too terrible) with a note to say the rest was out of stock and would follow.
2 weeks later, nothing - tried to get through to no avail on several occasions. When I did I was met by a, I felt rude and abrupt salesman who told me that the goods will be with me in a week and hung up.

1 week later nothing had arrived. I rang again and asked for a refund, and the salesman kept repeating the obviously stock phrase " We'd be happy to give you a store credit", this went on 4 or 5 times. What is so difficult about the concept of a refund that they find hard to grasp? He finally told me that to issue a refund I'd have to email their order department with the order ref. number.

I did and as yet am yet to recieve a reply or refund. If I don't get one by the end of the week I'm taking a trip to the citizens advice bureau and plastering as many forums as I can with my case.

Poor customer service, inability to deliver and rudeness mean that I will NEVER shop with them again.

I agree with this review because...your comments are all correct - par for the course with e-moto apalling customer service, rudeness and bad communication.

They take your money make you wait weeks for your parts then say it was made to order even though it is a standard part, but what this company really wants is for you to ask for a refund and then they keep 10% even if they clearly can't deliver.

Would love to take up complaints with eMoto myself, but the rudeness, abruptness and nonchalant attitude of the staff was just not worth my time or effort, and I believe that others should be made aware of the difficulties, they may face should they choose to try and make a purchase - however, following my experience I would not recommend they do. Their website may be full of self aggrandisement, but the reality is they have completely missed the basic principles of customer service, which is a total shame, if only they realised that a small purchase, will more than often lead to multiple future purchases, and greater increases in money. In addition a complaint dealt with effectively will keep a customer & that a happy customer will sell your company by word of mouth which is greater than any marketing you could pay for. Unfortunately, after my experience of eMoto, I will not return. I only wanted to know why there was no contact made to let me know an item would not be posted out to me, despite an email stating it would be on it's way, and the money having been taken out of my account a week earlier, but I was met with a 'don't waste my time' attitude which was rather disappointing as I'd already made the decision to purchase many other items - their loss is a reliable companies gain. All I can say is that we have the benefit of freedom of choice, and I wish I had come across this thread before I'd placed my order, and then I could have made an informed choice, but one thing in know for sure is that I will not be choosing them again.

I ordered a Ducati front fender in carbon for my 999, WOW the quality was amazing and the fit, I got it within 5 days although their site quoted like 7-10 days. I am really happy, they even sent me some Ducati Corse stickers. I have seen some cheaper parts on the net, but I guess what they say you get what you pay for, I was happy and will go back for more in the future when I save some more £££'s!

I ordered an eprom chip for my bike, things were looking good, the automated email claimed the order was being processed, then the money was taken from my account.
A few days later another email stating the item would be dispatched that week. Magic, I thought, the sun is shining, great time to test my new mapping!
A week later.... no sign, so I tried to call, just an answer phone, so I waited another couple of days, before I dropped them an email, they replied to tell me they had apparently already sent me an email to say the item was not available.... there was no sign of this email, AND there was also no sign of the money in my account.
So I called again, this time I got through to a man, and when I explained my annoyance of having the money taken out and an no notification of the item not being sent, he told me he didn't see my problem, that I was wasting his time, and put the phone down.
I may have only been ordering £100 worth of stuff, but I'm a biker and I like my bike to look trick, so the order; had they understood the basic principles of customer service, could have easily built up. but now, I'll not recommend them to another soul.
