The worst airline possible. They checked me in for my flight & also checked me onto my connecting flight which also with them. When I got to the desk at my connecting flight, the 2 staff members were all over the place & would not talk with me until they had finished whatever they were doing. “Worst business class experience ever except for Aeroflop!”

My wife and I flew TAP from London to Lisbon an then to Accra yesterday May 12. We were seated in business class. First row and subsequently row 3. Our comments: Bad service, bad food, no food choice, bad attitude, poor communication, inexperienced or incapable crew, safety announcement a farce, unexplained delay in Lisbon resulting in loss of luggage in CapeTown, our final destination. “Haven't been on it yet and already frustrated!”

We booked with Tap to fly to Marakesh via Lisbon on the 7th of April. On the 26th of Dec last year get a phone call from Tap saying that this flight was cancelled and we'd have to fly on the 6th instead. This meant that we had to change our hotel booking for which we incurred an extra of £120. The claims number provided by the airlines gets you nowhere. This must be a fake review, written by a TAP employee. I have traveled with TAP 72 legs the last 8 years and I´m a very quite person. Just ONCE have the crew been "acceptable" the rest of the times they have been rude and arrogant. The only reason why I fly TAP is because they are the only one who flies direct to Fortaleza, Natal and Recife from Europe.

Both flights to and from Lisbon were pretty much on time and the on-board experience was good. However, one piece of luggage was lost on the outward journey and was returned after 41 hours (therefore no change of clothes for two of our family!). On the return trip we checked in 2 hours 20 mins before scheduled departure. “A 3rd world airline”

Starting June 27 we spent 3 days in the Lisbon airport trying to get to Barcelona. It's been 6 days since then and nobody from TAP has any idea where our luggage is. It's been one delay, cancellation, and indifferent employee after another. When we arrived to check in at the airport for our return flight on July 2 there was a line with hundreds of people and ONE counter open. i was on the exact flight. my flight was at 1 and they canceled it at the last minute. They had me waiting all day until we had to rent a cab for 1,000 euros to sevilla spain to catch a flight to barcelona. Tap portugal is the worst airline. it is july 14 and i still dont have one of my luggages

“TAP Incompentence”

There was a strike in Portugal on Thursday, June 27th. TAP continued to check in bags. I waited for five hours at three different gates before they cancelled the flight. There were lines two miles long for rebooking. They were unable to return the luggage (there are currently 10,000 bags in Lisbon waiting to be sent). I had to sleep at the ariport. I also had a very bad experience on the day of the strike. Booked to fly from Malpensa to Lisbon onTAP executive class, we were given no information other than there was a delay. This delay tuned into hours with no communication from TAP as to what was happening. Eventually flights were cancelled and there was a 6 hour wait in a queue to be rebooked and/or accommodated. About 7 hours after the flight was ascheduled to leave we were told we would be taken to a hotel (staff would not reveal the name) by bus. Mnay people crowded onto this bus, including elderly and women wth children. After waiiting in another queue at the hotel we were advised that there were no beds available and another bus would be sent. By the time we arrived at the Crown Plaza Milan airport there was no food available and no way to get anywhere to eat. The next day we were routed via Luxembourg to Lisbon, the flight was delayed again. We finally got to Lisbon almost 2 days late but bags did not arrive. It is now Tuesday evening and I still have no bags, nor any communication from TAP. Very difficult to reach them by phone from London where I am now. Their baggage handling company Groundforce have told complete lies for days as to the whereabouts of the bags - first saying they were all located, the next day saying only one had been found, the day unable to locate them. i have lost hope that I will ever see my bags again

I share the same pain with you. I mean the experience from the point of check in was horrible. Sat 29th flight from London heathrow to Miami international via Lisbon. The check in attendant whom attended to my friend and I was rude. Flight delayed due to the strike which is excusable. I got to the destination couldn't find my suitcase. They did not even know if it left London at all or if it was lost in Lisbon. I filled a form out and was given a contact number and was told I would definitely get contacted the next day. It's July the 02nd and still no word so i have been out here for 3 days without my suitcase having to buy clothes, etc. Between the days I have been here I have made calls to different numbers. The local number I was given at the airport always rings and goes to voicemail and asks me to leave a message. Called it today and the voicemail box is full so obviously nobody is attending to that line at all. I have called the office in Portugal many times and they do not even know where my suitcase is. Communicating with some of the operators in English is difficult. Now I plan on going to the airport tomorrow to speak to somebody in person to see if that may help. This has been the worst travel experience for me. I am starting to think I may never see my suitcase now..

NEVER FLY TAP! NEVER!!!! I had the most misarable 2 days of my life sleeping on different airports because surprise, surprise, TAP were late again. In one day I wated in total 3 hours for their flights. But the second delay destroyed my whole weekend. The worst thing is how the TAP employees were so cool about it and didnt even appologize. Jesus, if you prefer flying turkish or whatever the other company you apoint, you, sir, don't have the least idea of how a airline should be. TAP is one of the best in the world, but they can't invest in luxury, they have to chose so they prefer invest in securaty and maintenance of their aircraft,. Wich is what makes you get to your destination in one peace. Get it !

“Shambles at Miami”

Checked in for a scheduled flight from Miami to Lisbon and on to Manchester, UK. Flying Executive (Business) with departure scheduled for 16:30 Monday 3rd June. Waited with no information in lounge until 21:00 when TAP's agency staff arrived to tell us to collect our bags as we were going to be taken to a hotel for the night as the plane had a fault which required a part only available in Europe. I too had a terrible experience with TAP, we got to the airport to check in and there were no available seats so queued to speak to an adviser who then told us we couldn't sit together as they had booked myself and my husband together and my 4 year old on a completely separate row at the back of the plane. “It just gets worse”

I had a terrible experience with TAP in August this year. When we eventually arrived back home, I got on to the 'complaints service'. My emails have been ignored and 4 months on, no-one has had the courtesy of coming back to me. I know my complaints are being received as I have had the automated response from TAP. TAP Portugal at the airport in Salvador, Brazil is a disaster. Complete incompetence. Someone needs to go there and sort it out. The employees are not trained properly. “Cancelled flight. No apology.”

My flight with TAP was cancelled for no reason. I didn't find out until I arrived at the airport at 4.30 AM. It left the next day. No apology or reason was given. No complimentary sandwich or even a cup of coffee, let alone an hotel room for the night. Worst is that TAP refuse to reply to my complaint. All I get is a computer generated reply saying that they will look in to my complaint as soon as possible, but I never hear any more. Absolutely brilliant short haul when you compare them to the budget airlines on similar routes. I used their Manchester to Lisbon route and was most impressed with the low price of the ticket, free 20kg case in the hold - meaning there was room in the cabin for the passengers, free food and drink and free check in and seat selection all for £112 return.
