I have never had any issues with this company and in my experience if there is a delay in receiving funds it is usually something wrong that you have done. I have used this company for 4.5 years and I have never had a problem. I would most definitely refer my friends to this site. Although they are ceasing offering gambling transaction in Canada, I will still use them as my web wallet. They have always paid me without delay and I will continue to use them.

You are a pee on and an idiot. Hundreds if not thousands have had issues with this company, myself included. They rarely reply to emails. I sent 5 in the last month. Guess how many were answered? Zero. "Only complainers leave reviews"? That is such a stupid statement if baffles my mind. Even bad companies have few transactions that are fine. However, if you were trying to get 1200 dollars from your Skrill account to your bank account and have had to jump hoops and make 5 long distance calls and had to listen to their idiotic hold music with a message that you will be transferred to the first available rep every 20 seconds and still not get to speak with anyone, you'd be whining like a school girl. So please understand that just because you have had no problem does not mean that they are a good company for all.

“I made the mistake of placing an order through a...”

I made the mistake of placing an order through a website that used Moneybookers (skrill.com) to process payment. After paying for the product, I never received it. The merchant's e-mail address was invalid, and the Live Chat feature on the merchant's website was no longer active. I contacted Moneybookers (skrill.com) immediately to inform them of the situation. The only e-mail I ever received was an automatically generated response with a case number and no other information. They never responded to my inquiry. Because I was unable to receive a response from the merchant or Moneybookers (skrill.com), I was forced to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. I filed a chargeback to get my money refunded by the credit card company. The majority of the reviews for Moneybookers (skrill.com) are very negative, and I strongly advise you to avoid Moneybookers (skrill.com) like the plague .

“Now on 3rd support ticket, still ignored”

DO NOT open an account with these fools. I have opened 3 support tickets and had NO response for over a week. My account verification that was supposed to be "2 to 4 days" is now almost two weeks and no money. I think my money that I have there is gone. Don't trust them with your money. Their website is a complete joke. Think they have low fees? Think again, you'll be lucky if you don't lose all the money transferred though skrill.

“The worst service ever”

I have tried to withdraw my money from Skrill account about 3 weeks ago but failed. I contacted their so-called help team to solve my problem but I received no positive results till now. Instead of solving my problem they just send me notifications that they have created a ticket for me. I am so sorry for my decision to use their services. I do not recommend anybody to use their services. It is better to pay more than regret later.

“What happened to you!?!”

I used to use Moneybookers all the time to transfer money between Hungary and the UK. Tranfer from my Hungary bank account to Skrill's Hungary bank account, then withdraw from Skrill to my UK account. Easy... Then I got an email from them saying that the bank details had changed, so now I should transfer my money from Hungary to their Germany-based bank. OK... why would I do that when I can just transfer from my HU bank to my UK bank? No answer... Called them earlier after several failed attempts at getting an answer to my email, and was hung up on by a very rude customer service lady whose shift was just about to finish. Now I'm looking around for an alternative option. Avoid avoid avoid!!!!

“Liers - Bloodsuckers - Worse than animals ”

I'm from Pakistan. Skrill gently robbed my $41 today. Let me tell you their way of crime so you can avoid becoming a victim of their trap: I transferred 188USD to my Skrill account from Odesk. When I transferred these 188USD to my bank account in Pakistan, they sent to me an email confirmation of transferring 186USD, but in actual they converted my money into Euros (at a very, very low conversion rate) and transferred the Euros onto my account. They keep confirming me that they have transferred 186USD , but in actual they sent Euros with an unacceptable conversion rate that decreased the value of my 186USD to just 141USD.

Service = Terrible Used their instant transaction when the money did not register I emailed them and no answer - Do not use their instant transaction (worse then gambling) Personal = Terrible Non existent - you probably have bigger chance getting answers talking to a computer. Money Management = Terrible No responsibility for their client’s funds So the question is: is it safe - Big NO they could re-mane the website to scram Their should be laws against these services from operating on the net

“Don't wonder if they eat all your money and don't even...”

Well, my review is no different than some of the existing reviews and the reason is that my experience has been same/similar as others'. They have a terrible service. They apply extra charges at their will and don't even tell you why. Even in you ask them, all you will hear is that - additional charges can be there and we can not be held liable in such event as per the user agreement. How happy it can make someone, one can easily imagine. Man if you are applying additional charges at least inform clients in advance OR at the least reply to their support tickets satisfactorily and with courtesy. Don't just talk about the policy/terms/agreement cccrap. I have already started looking for alternatives and hopefully I'll get rid of them very soon. My advise to everyone is just stay away from them unless you really like banging your head on a wall at midnight.

“Used to be one of the best”

Used to love this site but over the last year I had a lot of issue with them. I am not sure what went down with their service but they just wouldn't let me add money. I contacted their customer supports seeking help as I was paying some one online using moneybookers, it take them couple of days to get back telling me that they will enable that soon !!! few weeks later I gave up on this site, they are trying to provide a payment method online, how on earth can it takes them months for an online shopper to be able to fun his account online !!!

“Do not use Skrill Moneybookers as your online Merchant.”

Hi I have been using Skrill Moneybookers as my online merchant account and have lost for a total of £7800 in chargebacks. It is the most insecure payment method with zero security. The customer service does not know what they are doing and cant give you a straight answer. They have not been able to recover any of my money at all and cant give you a reason why this is happened. One email said please be patient we are disputing these chargebacks and they have not won a single case. Basically if you have a stolen card you are able to use it with Skrill Moneybookers and send the goods to a completely different address the card is registered to. 1 case it took me 9 months before they told me they had lost the case and said in the email please report to the Authorities 9 months later "I right" The worst ongoing experience i have had and seriously put my business under pressure.

Moneybookers/Skrill - DO NOT OPEN ACCOUNT WITH THEM! You will regret..... No service whatsoever, they don't reply to emails and as far as I am concerned, they are a bunch of clowns........When I withdrew SGD 51.36, they charge me SGD 4.99 as fees. And then their bank (Royal Bank of Scotland, Singapore) charge me SGD 40.00 as fees to transfer the money to my bank (Maybank, Singapore). This is local bank to local bank, why the international transfer fees? Emails I send them gone unanswered! At the end I got back SGD 6.36 out of SGD 51.36. RIDICULOUS! Never never never used them............

“Worst of all”

I thought I can finally get rid of paypal when I stumbled upon Skrill and how wrong I am. Skrill does not offer any flexibility to play with your info. As I am new to Skrill, I tried to change some information here and there and soon after, they sent me an email say that for security reason, i need to forward them copy of id for verification. I have not even start to use their system. Cmon, im only trying to play around with my information and have not used it to pay or receive money. And the WORST of all, email to them takes weeks and no reply. So I dont have a choice but to stick to paypal. At least they reply email promptly and they are more flexible when it comes to changing my personal particulars. I hope Skrill closed down soon.

Definitely paypal is a better service. I suddenly lost access to my moneybookers account , and then it would keep happening, they would send email they want brightly coloured passport to let me enter the account. I would call and they would deny what they said by email, and allow me entry into the moneybookers accounts, (customer numbers 18811177, 22237033) and the same thing happen over and over. I called today after a year of non-use to shut these 2 accounts down and they are saying they wont. Moneybookers had originally tried to shut down my accounts>= 1 year ago, because they say I told them my purpose of opening my account was to be an ebay trader whereas I had not done so. I mean now my 2 accounts have balances(18811177=2.84USD) and (22237033=2.87GBP) and are frozen. They said as I called today explained I do not have this brightly coloured scan as my passport with the home office, and the guy said they will find out if they can allow entry without brightly coloured passport. They have emailed me after that asking to send brightly coloured passport. PS It is not illegal for me to possess a moneybookers account, so waht the hell?

“No answer from Skrill”

I placed a support call over at the end of August after make a mistake about a deposit from my bank account to the Skrill account. I tried call Skrill every day at least 4 time a day, but they do no answer nor do they reply to my emails. Bottom line, after Moneybookers was changed to Skrill, their level of service went down the hill! Stay Away from Skrill!!!

moneybookers block my account without any notification ,my account can received money as normal ,one day I have an order need to refund, but I see the refund can not process, after contact monebookers they said I need to send below information : • A clear and readable copy of photo ID of Company Representative, in colour, registered on the Account (Passport, National ID and Drivers Licence only). Front and back of any card used for ID verification, as well as the double page of the passport; • A proof of company address either a utility bill or bank statement only, not older than 3 months or any official document that also includes the address i.e. Certificate of Incorporation or a Certificate of Incumbency; • A scanned copy of Certificate of Incorporation/ Articles of Association; • Filled in copy of the Merchant Questionnaire (please find attached); • Filled in UBO and Directors form (please find attached); • Signed copy of the Merchant Agreement (please find attached); • Signed copy of the Fee Schedule (please find attached). I send all of the document ,but after one week nobody reply my email, I contact them again, they send email to me request above information again, I send it again, but they said my moneybookers register address not the same as company register address, they said I must send a utility bill ,the bill must have my company name and address , I send above information on 13 April 2013 ,till today 23 Aug 2013 ,they have not unlock my account, and they send emai to me they will close my account on 28 Aug 2013 , ane the money on my account can not fefund,

“Deceived”

I was really excited about this service. Website sucks (the new version is much better though), but OK... Captcha on login, annoying. Login locked for 24h after several failed attempts. This is useless and ridiculous. Anyway, promises to be a great deal. But actually it cost me more than Western union. It is only worth it for VERY SMALL AMOUNTS - like $100 (where a flat fee would really be a bad deal for you). A customer tried to send a payment. Skrill put a limit on them and they had to verify their address. It took like 2-3 weeks. When I finally get the payment, I tried withdrawing (like I did successfully with the 1st payment), and it forced me to verify my postal address, although I had already verified my bank account and phone number and my limits were very high. So it forces you to verify with NO VALID REASON. I wrote a mail to enquire, never got an answer, although it says everywhere on the site that they will answer in 24h and encourage you repeatedly to write. Very annoying. Once I get my money out of it I'm never using it anymore. I'd rather pay more and have my money, instead of begging, waiting and going through hoops to have access to what is mine.

“Skrill never answers e-mail.”

I am done with them. I am just trying to fund my gambling accounts to do arbitrage wagering. I need a deposit verified because I changed credit cards. I am fully verified on the "know your customer end". A full week, not even an e-mail reply. This is the worst service I have ever seen, from a money exchange provider. As an a side, it is quite possible, they are being investigated for money laundering. I would not deposit a penny with them. The United States government has been on a tear with electronic exchanges, and this may well be the reason. I cannot say for sure, but their behavior as of late is highly suspect. I used to work for a bank, and something is sadly wrong here. Yes, they get a zero rating. I too, cannot click zero! I will fund all my accounts slowly, and go with bank transfers! What a way for a Canadian to have to wager. I am looking for other options, if any of you have suggestions.

“No Email Support Whatsoever”

Sent two emails trying to hook my bank account with them. I live in Canada and the bank code field just doesn't seem to work so I asked them for more details. Two emails and already a month trying to verify my Skrill account and yet still response through email. Calling them is not an option as I would be billed with long distance charges and chances are I will be on hold with their support. Just not worth the trouble to even look into that. Given by their email support, I also just don't want to experience their phone support, after all, even it's toll free, doesn't reassure me into using them. Just avoid them! Their email support ticket system is horrible, they do not respond so if you have an issue, you're pretty much screwed.

Try resetting your password, sometime this is a security measure to make sure your account is valid. The best way to contact Skrill is to call them, you will get an instant answer that way.

Skrill offers horrendous service. That is your main problem. It used to be called Moneybookers. Moneybookers was created in the early 90's more or less, as a way to fund a new online sportsbook, called Gamebookers. At the time, they accepted E-Gold. You could say, gamblers with E-gold, wanted to bet on sports, and only Gamebookers, accepted E-Gold. So E-Gold players essentially launched the platform, or at the very least, helped the bookmaker. With time, gamebookers got into the money exchange business. They were good at first, but grew too big for their shoes. The last two years, e-mailing them was just about a futile effort. They do not have the infrastructure, to truly service the market they built. And that is the key problem. There really is no good solution to this, I am a trader, I trade sports. I dumped them, because the service was so poor. And several places that offer live trading, have done likewise. They are also no longer available at certain sportsbooks, in several countries, including Canada. I would look at other options If I were you. One would be to find an exchange service, that will convert for you. You will pay a small fee. Do a google search for that. Try the following as your search criteria, and find a company you can live with. Research the exchange provider well, so your funds remain safe. Just google the following; exchange service skrill to paypal All the best! P.S. Paypal cannot be used in a lot of coutries, for gambling purposes. At one time, it was an option. That is where the conflict is, and why you need a work around. Also, try opening a new Skrill account.
