Mobile rainbow.........theres definitely no gold at the end of this rainbow....rainbow mobile do not pay cash back even though i have religiously send bills and kept to the terms and conditions. They do not contact customers, and i am taking this up with trading standard agency.

Got bored with waiting for my cashback of Mobile Rainbow, so lodged a claim with HMCS money claim online: www.moneyclaim.gov.uk this cost £25. All cashback owed since last March and costs were paid within a month. Give it a go. Put in a claim. All my cashback has now been paid back in full.

If you think you can manage to talk to someone over the phone then you are wrong. I sent my 1st cashback paper work on 6/08/07 and the 2nd on 4th/10/07 now 3rd is going tomorrow. Have I got a penny from them yet...??? of course NOT. This a very bad company. I am doing all formalities if I can't get anything back from them I am going to contact CONSUMERS TRADING STANDARD. I think there are 100s of people suffering because of this company's service so everybody should try to make a complaint to CTS. Thanks for reading

Its an absolute disgrace that Mobile Rainbow are allowed to continue trading after so many bad reports. You are given one excuse after another for non payment of cash back claims!!!! Avoid at all costs, it is not worth the hassle or stress even if you succeed through the courts.

I am coming to the end of a 12 month contract and have not received one cash back cheque. The first claim is still being processed and Mobile Rainbow have rejected my second and third claims as arriving too late which is certainly not the case.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. ITS A HUGE SHAM. HAD 4 BAD EXPERIENCES IN MY FAMILY WITH THEM. MOTHER Was told SHE WONT GET HER CASH BACK as she changed her talk plan within her 12month contract (She CHANGED IT AFTER THE 12 MONTH CONTRACT HAD EXPIRED WITH THEM). They have made it impossible to get cash back as they want 3G to write to them confirming this. 3G called them to explain plan was changed after 12months. Rainbow demanded a letter which 3G cannot send out as only send out templated letters.

THEY LOST MY BILLS AND NOW WONT PAY OUT MY ANY CASH BACK claiming i didn't send all of the pages in. Idiots! I resent them and at first they said they havent receievd my recorded delivery post. Now they say its over 15days so you have
breached the T+C's!!!

Have to ask for every cashback from Mobile Rainbow as it is never sent.

Any cash backs not sent recorded are never received.

The customer service department are never there to answer calls. All e-mails sent do not get replies. Overall very disappointing.

Would never use this company again or recommend it to anyone.

For 3 years I have never had my cashback paid on time, every time I call them I am told it will hit my account in the next 5 - 7 days, this has gone on for over 6 weeks, they have also taken money out of my account without permission and refuse to refund it. They hardly ever reply to my e-mails, I would avoid this company!

Free gift offer with mobile phone at Mobile Rainbow was not what it seemed - after conflicting information given online and with welcome letter I received with mobile after I sent in a bill they never contacted me about this I rang them to check I had sent wrong bill and I told them the letter i had was different information to what they were saying they told me to send letter to them - no one ever rang back then i rang again to be told i had now missed the deadline by 2 days - therefore i would not be getting the Nintendo Wii as the free gift i ordered after taking out the contract with them. No one is English at the call centre you can not understand what they are telling you and they do not help you out as everyone tells you different information

I sent my claim to Mobile Rainbow as instructed but I have now waited almost 4 months for the 1st cashback claim and still not received it. This company did not honour any cashback. My advice is to stay well clear as they fobbed me off with excuses. Do not buy from them, instead buy from a company you can trust

I was unlucky reading reviews after placing the order to Mobilerainbow. As soon as I read reviews, I gave a call to cancel my order and that's where the nightmare started.
1. I was told that order has gone through and they can't cancel.
2. There will be £19.99 charge for cancelling the order when I send it back.
3. The handset came after 4 days, unsealed, I've sent it back.
4. After two days I started asking for a confirmation about receiving and cancelling (they put on their terms conditions just 7 days for returning). After 5 days I received an email saying, that they received the package and deducted £19.99.
5. 3 days later they gave me a call and said that they received a package but without a box and charger, and said that they deducted from my account for this.
6. I called to my bank to stop my card, but £30 were already taken from my account.
Stay away from them! Go to service supplier straight, you'll be better off.

The relationship with Mobile Rainbow started really well. A 3 contract for £25 a month with 12 months free line rental was too good to be true. I ordered the contract and got a call the next day from Mobile Rainbow to confirm the details of the deal. For my contract, I had to submit my bills at 6 months, 8 months, 10 months, and 12 months within 15 days, and they would pay within 45 days. Sounds easy enough, but it has been one of the most painful ordeals I have had to endure.

I submitted my first claim ten days after the 6 month bill was received by recorded mail and followed it up with a phone after checking the Royal Mail website that it had been received. Mobile Rainbow claimed that they never received it and asked for Proof of Delivery. I sent it off, and they transferred it to "the concerned department", and said that I would receive payment in 45 working days. Well, 45 days came and went. I followed it up again, and now it was "it has been verified and will be paid in 20 - 25 working days". Further follow-ups went down to 10 working days, then 7 working days. Every time I contacted them about it, it was still 7 working days.

I had enough, and I am now taking the legal route through the HMCS Money Claim Online. In doing some research, I found I am not the only one. If you are in the scenario where you have not received payment within the 45 days promised in the terms and conditions, you can use the money claim online site and claim the whole cashback plus expenses. This is the only way you can guarantee your money.

STAY CLEAR OF MOBILE RAINBOW... getting cash back is like getting blood out of a stone, they must have a long list of excuses as to why they will not honour the cash back.
All three of my cashbacks I have had problems with, my last claim 3 months ago has still not come, they promised to pay within 30 days. After 7 phone calls they kept saying it will be in your bank in 10-15 working days... this never happened.
I WILL NEVER GO WITH THEM AGAIN.
I seem to remember a saying: 'If its too good to be true...'

Got 12 months free line rental had to send my 1-6 bill and 7-9 bill in no problems. If you keep to the terms & conditions and send by recorded delivery, the trick is after sending pester them every other day to see if the have received the paperwork and ask them to e-mail you to confirm so that is more proof. Happy cashbacking.
