got blocked from face book no reason keeps doing this now asking for bank details facebook is no good

I must say I do love facebook, and I go on it everyday. What I hate is that it makes it to easy to spy on your old school friends, work colleagues and acquaintances. There's something that makes me feel a guilty happiness when I read their status about being skint, overweight or depressed about their brake up. And I hate it when I feel like I have to stay friends with someone even if I don't like them because if I delete them then it causes massive drama amongst friends of friends of friends ect. What I hate the most is I can't escape the Facebook revolution as it's sucked everyone in and if your not part of it then your abnormal. I tell my friends and family my good and bad news face to face just like it use to be instead of publicising and bragging to over 300 people I don't really like. Let's bring back real social interaction instead of this cyber rubbish

We all know that facebook has become a part of our lives. But the privacy settings of facebook have been completely disturbed. They should take care of these. Rest is all good on it The Wall, Bio, Photos etc etc

My Facebook account is no longer available. The reason is that one of my 'friends' has reported me because of sharing a link to a radiobroadcast by the Danish public service radio. The title of the broadcast was rather controversial. It read 'Experts: Legalize drugs' and related to the fact that police and military around the world now for decades has tried to combat drug crime - without much luck. Perhaps even the contrary. The Facebook team employee who looked into the matter, has apparently never heard of anything so exotic as Danish public service radio and probably thought it was the propagandatransmitter of the mafia. Consequently he or she ‘deactivated’ my account - apparently assuming that I was trying to persuade my friends into taking drugs! Facebook cannot be contacted, and misunderstanding cannot be corrected. Sad that Facebook can’t recruit people with better education and a shame that the company can’t afford a decent user service!

you block your account, they treat the customer like s**t, they dont realise that without the account holders they are nothing. they dont listen. they dont care, they take your money and close your or block / suspend your accounts hate it.

It is a good social network website, I can easily contact with others by using it.

The site is a good way to connect to friends but there should be a tactful reminder WHEN Facebook shares *all* information provided to them with these APP

Facebook - I don't even know where to start. It sounds so sad, but it's actually such a big part of my life. I can keep in contact with so many people; I've just left school and everyone's gone to uni, so it's the perfect (and the only in a lot of cases) way to see how everyone's getting on, and what they're up to. It has everything you could ever want from a social network site - photos, private mail, public messages, apps, games, groups, fan pages etc. Absolutely everything. You can customise your security settings with regard to everything on your profile - for example, you could set some photo albums to only be available to you, and others can be set so that the whole world can see them - so it's really easy to gain the exact level of privacy you want. There's so much good about it that I don't even feel I can express it without writing an essay, so I'll stop there. But basically, everyone has it, everyone loves it, so get it. NOW. Really, I'm not joking.a A bad point: IT WILL TAKE OVER YOUR LIFE, say goodbye to getting any internet/computer-based work done.

One FB leads the way in Community Social hubs.But as they went on with marketing they've forgot their major role and their primary concern is now money.

I love Facebook so so do I only give it three stars? A number of reasons. 1 Without Members, Facebook would not exist. Yet they treat members with contempt. Their system prompts me to add new suggested users but when I do, they stop me by saying I don't know them. In some cases, this happens despite me having 7 or 8 mutual friends with that person. 2 One of my friends sent a "friend request" to someone she thought she knew. That person reported her and my friend was banned for a week from making any friend requests. No chance to explain or anything, just treated her with contempt. 3 Worst of all, there are many business pages who use Facebook to gain new customers and then scam them. These sites use images that breach copyright and they block anybody who posts a negative comment or asks a question they don't like. While we can be blocked and scammed by these businesses, there is no way on Facebook for us to report these companies who abuse Facebook. So Facebook has become a tool for these businesses to cheat people and we have no voice. Facebook is great and I love it but they need to remember that it would be nothing without it's members.

I appreciate they're just trying to better develop the site, ultimately it's "improvements are driven around improving advertising conversion rates. Sometimes these changes wreck the user experience. On the most part it's a good social network. Far superior to any other that has been made before, and probably will be forever.

Facebook sell your personnal details to advertissement companies. It's perfectly legal since it's written in the conditions you sign when you join. If someone wants to know about your personnal life, the 1st place they'd go is FACEBOOK. Also, if your pics are private, some of them appear in google image.

I don't really understand why people are crazy about the social networking. I had fake account only to play some online games. Always wonder what percentage of software of this site is really to spy on user and percentage is really as it says. Would never recommend. If have friends, write email, call them, meet them on weekend :)

and the new changes are pretty awesome i think. they reckon Facebook it going to take over Youtube and things too. Either way, we all love a bit of facebook don't we? which reminds me, i haven't updated my status today. :-)

I discovered a long last friend from middle school through FB. The only drawback is it sucks atleast an hour of my time each day, pretty addictive!

Facebook is certainly a useful way of keeping in touch with people, but I find the GUI temperamental. It's not unusual to have to reload the page 30+ times before everything displays (full sidebar, more than just the last 5 or so posts) and even then things like video/photo thumbnails/'Like' buttons etc are badly misaligned. I also find that when typing a new post the characters are very slow to generate onscreen.
The homepage doesn't exactly contain vast amounts of information so it's surprising how badly it tends to perform.

I think facebook is the best community site to communicate with lacs of people. I like it so much. Wish everyone sign up with facebook.
