I ordered 2 pairs back on April. The first pair arrived and were very good. Could not fault them. I am still waiting for the second pair. I have emailed and phoned on and off for about 3 weeks. Am going to try consumer direct for advice before looking at options..

I ordered my boots on 30 April and they took my money immediately however I have now heard or seen nothing from them (9th June). The phone line always goes to a fax when I telephone, and they have not answered my messages or faxes. I am looking into how to get my money back. If anyone has a contact number that they have used and had an answer from please can you post it as their web site has also now gone down. Thanks. Would absolutely not recommend to anyone.

I too ordered boots on 15th April and the payment was immediately debited. Chased in mid-May by telephone and was assured by the gentleman who answered that these fine, Italian, handmade boots would be with me within 2 weeks. Since then I haven't been able to get hold of them by fax, telephone or e-mail. Their website appeared as though it had down yesterday.

I wish I had found this site before I ordered my boots! I am having the same problems as everyone else. The money has been taken but no boots received. Haven't received any reply to my e-mails yet. Tried phoning and it goes straight to answer phone whenever I try, with not enough time to leave a message - I was cut off and so had to ring back to leave my number.
Has anyone managed to get a refund yet?

Ordered boots April 23 and money was taken on that day. Boots are still not delivered and emails are not answered. I am going overseas in two weeks and if boots don't arrive by then they will be useless. This company is clearly going out of business or is at least in bad trouble. Very disappointed.

It took six weeks from ordering for my boots to arrive. When I got them, I was unhappy with the fit, they were really baggy around the ankles. I returned them by Special Delivery on 7th May. Royal Mail attempted to deliver them the next day, within office hours, but I'm told that no one was there to receive them. I have sent an e-mail and telephoned, leaving a message, as I couldn't get an answer, asking someone to contact me to let me know when they have either collected or rearranged delivery of the boots so that I can receive a refund. As yet, nearly a week later, I have received no response.
Based on this experience, I definitely will not be using the Calf Width Boot company again.

That said, after I posted to say wasn't very impressed, I actually got a call from the MD apologising and assuring me that I would receive my boots the next day - which did happen.

Also have to say that whilst the boots are very nice, I am not sure I would bother to go through all this rigmarole again.

I am having the same problems as others.I returned my second pair of boots i exchanged rom the first as they still didnt seem to fit correctly after two weeks still had no refund. They have so far not replied my 3 emails. I wouldn't use them again as customer service is poor.

I ordered 2 pairs of boots on 9 April and payment was taken that day, I have tried to chase up where my delivery is with no joy and am now getting concerned that my money has been taken and I will not get anything for also, also a bit concerned with some of the reviews which seem to be similar to mine.

Ordered and paid for my boots back in March after the site was recommended by Caryn Franklin in an article in the Daily Telegraph - however have still yet to receive them. Have phoned, emailed and now faxed to try and find out what on earth is going on.

Having read the last few reviews here it is not looking positive, which means that I will have to look in to ways of getting my money back - not something I envisaged having to do.

My boyfriend ordered me some boots for my birthday in mid march and calf width boots quickly took his money but we still haven't received my boots.
Having phoned numerous times and never had the phone answered we are starting to get worried.
I an really upset and extremely angry.
They have many positive statements on their site but I am doubting their authenticity,
We're at a loss as to what to do as they appear to be uncontactable!

Would definately not use this company again, poor quality product and non-existant customer service.

My wife ordered a pair of boots costing over £70 from this company mid-March 2008. She paid at the time by credit card. The boots have not been delivered. I have emailed and got no reply. The companys phone number goes straight to a message to which no one has responded to yet. I am still hoping it will all work out OK but having just read Chelley25s Review, who suffered the same problems that I am currently encountering, I am beginning to fear the worst. Mike Barrett, the companys director, responded to Chelley25s review by roundly discrediting her side of the story, but I am experiencing exactly the same problems. Would someone please either refund my money, deliver the boots, or contact me with an explanation for why they are doing neither?

Great boots, fantastic soft leather, most comfortable boots I've ever worn, alongside easy & efficient ordering and dispatch system.I cannot believe how comfortable these boots are! I received fantastic customer service with the boots arriving in no time at all, and along with 3 friends I have since purchased another style which are equally as comfortable.

The boots that I got from The Calf Width Boot Company are really fabulous, stylish and excellent quality. All my friends loved them. Delivery was really fast too - I ordered them on Monday night and received them on Wednesday morning. Another plus point was their really user friendly website.
