I have tried many fake tan lotions, mouses etc over the past 10 years. One thing was certain - the first applications were always a disaster, streaking, patches etc. I read reviews of Famous Dave tanning stuff and to be fair it looked as though it was going to beat the rest hands down. Got three Dark Tanning mouse 200ml bottles. Used the FD tanning mitt. First off it looks weird, smells a little but not unpleasant. Started applying and yes it certainly did everything that was promised. Dried quickly, didn't stain clothing or bedding. Left it 12 hours and showered. To be fair there was some tan coloured run off, but that's because I plastered it on first day. The colour is exotic brown, the best I've ever had Next day topped up, just coz I could - even better. No downside to this stuff. Brilliant. And I'm a bloke who likes to spend time in the garden on a sunny day. Awesome!

I ordered the moisture tan self tanner with bronzer...received the wrong product ....contacted the owner and he tried to say that I did receive the correct product...neither bottles had pro self tanner with bronzer on them like the image on the site that I ordered from. Bait and switch. Now he won't even send a label to me to send them back at his expense!!! Wants me to pay for his mistake!!!

My initial usage did not turn out how I had hoped, but after a couple of tries I perfected it and it does give a tan that doesn't look fake, I love it! The color is quite natural and lasts for about 5 days

I'VE been a user of this tanner for a few years NOW. it is my all time FAVORITE. it does not turn you orange or leave you STREAKY. there is a slight SCENT, but it ISN'T that BAD. after a few showers the smell goes AWAY. (ONLY option was mild and VILE, but the smell ISN'T VILE) if you are looking for a wonderful tanning lotion to give you an amazing GLOW, you have to try this tanning LOTION. you WON'T be DISAPPOINTED!!!! -TRACI

I have been using Famous Daves Moisture Tan for several years, now, and have never found another that can compare. Absolutely no streaking, very natural tan, easy to apply. Never a streaky or orange look. Don't waste money on any other product. I have tried many from the cheapest, to the most expensive, and this is the only one I will use! I always exfoliate first, take a warm bath, dry well, then apply. Perfect!

This lotion is a must-have for pale people like me. I struggle to maintain a vibrant tan for longer than a week. So, this lotion will come in handy this winter when I go months without sunshine. I've tried other self-tanners, but there are none like Dave's. There is only a subtle scent. The lotion comes out white and does not stain or rub off on anything. The lotion, yes, is a bit pricey but 100% worth the money. Don't go to dangerous tanning beds- splurge on this lotion. I think the tan looks better than a real one, completely serious. :)

This is the easiest lotion to apply. After just 5 minutes, you can put your clothes back on. I never see streaks and the color looks great. I feel like I glow. I will never go back to expensive store-bought brands.. I am a customer for life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I have used just about every sunless product out there and Famous Dave's is my favorite. I don't have a single complaint. The color is natural, the scent is pleasant, and the price is right. I am a repeat customer and will stay that way!

I've tried a lot of different self tanners because although I tan easily, there is a history of skin cancer in my family and I avoid sun exposure if possible. The lotion goes on very easily and has a very light fragrance that isn't noticeable once the lotion is applied. I usually put it on after a bath or shower and also use the Tingly Peppermint Scrub which is very refreshing and helps exfoliate/moisturize prior to application. The color looks very natural and I'm now on my second bottle. I'm addicted to this stuff! The lotion is definitely worth the price. I've tried cheaper self tanners and they do not compare.

I first tried Famous Dave's Moisture Tan a few summers ago when I saw it on Ebay. I was doubtful as to how it would work, because I have tried literally everything and anything under the sun; cheap and expensive. I am middle-aged, pasty white, with some age spots (why lie?), and ran the gamut of results with others...none terribly favorable: Was splotchy and streaky after applying, sticky and couldn't wear clothes right away, stained my sheets, smelled awful, made me look orange like an oompa-loompa, settled in my slight wrinkles and enhanced my age spots, etc.. Just horrible! This stuff worked magic! It went on easily, smell was so slight you barely noticed it, dried quickly and I was able to dress, slept in it and my white sheets weren't stained, and best of all...I looked like I'd spent the weekend in the tropics by the next morning. Of course there is the little prep work that you have to do: Exfoliating, wearing gloves when applying, and taking care around knees, elbows, and feet...but you have to do that with any of them. I promise results that you'll be pleased with. I know I'm satisfied and have been using it faithfully now for years.

I am very fair skinned and have always wanted a natural looking tan. I've tried lots of different products, many of which turn you orange or you have to apply every day. But once I discovered Famous Dave's tanner, I've never looked back. It is very natural-looking- a reasonable shade for my skin tone. There is also Fair Skin and Face which is a little lighter and I use it on my face. I only have to apply it about every 4 days. It dries quickly and doesn't come off on your clothes. While it is pricier than other tanners, you can figure in how much LESS you have to buy since you apply it much less often. I just wish they ran

I brought Famous Daves based on reviews and I was not disappointed. It is easy to apply there is very little smell. The color looks natural and shows up in a few hours. The color lasts for 4-5 days and wears of gradually. It was dry in a few minutes, it was not sticky feeling.

I bought the darker version of the moisture tan, and use it specifically for my face and neck area, simply because the bottle is quite expensive and this way it will last forever! I use St Moritz tan for the rest of my body as the colour is equally amazing and it's a third of the price so it makes sense, but I wouldn't use it on my face at all. The dark version of this tan is amazing, don't waste money on trying out cheaper tans, buy this one as it's all you will ever need. Instant colour, then a beautiful colour develops, perfectly natural, and it leaves your skin wonderfully moisturized with a glow. AMAZING

I have been using Dave's Famous Tanning lotion for over a year now. This is the only tanning product I trust. Just like all tanners, you need to be patient and get the hang of how to put it on properly, but once you get your routine down, it's great! Exfoliating is the key, and after you shower 8 plus hours later, make sure you use lotion to help hold your tan on longer. DO NOT USE PRODUCTS WITH OIL, i have learned this the hard way, because i Used to get really blotchy, finally figuring out that was the reason. I know a lot of us have problems with are hands and feet, and we get the glove look. I'd like to share what i FINALLY figured out what works for me.. Apply lotion (non oil) I use eucergin to your hands and a little to the wrist area. when you are doing your arms, and the tanner is 'almost' rubbed in, rub your hands, not so much your fingers... there is enough tanner to give your hands some color, and they should not turn orange because of the very little you applied. It will probably take a few times to get it right, but hang in there! This product does NOT give you the orange appearance.. I completely recommend this product, it's reasonable in price and gives you a beautiful glow. I hope this helped... -TRACI

This is by far the best self tanner I have ever used! I'm not able to go tanning anymore because I'm more prone to cancer now due to having an illness I had. This is the closest that I have come to having a nice tan that looks like I've been to a tanning bed. It doesn't turn my skin orange, it doesn't have a smell to it, it dries fast, and it does not get on your clothes! There is nothing bad that I can say about this product. I highly recommend this product!
