The Apple iPod Mini 4GB MP3 player is worth a look. It's easy to get music onto it, and the sound through the supplied headphones is excellent!!

I've had an iPod Mini for over a year now, and it is the worst purchase I have ever made. Mine is now sitting on my shelf broken. Why? It just decided to pack in for no reason, just after my 1 year warranty ran out. How convenient! Apple say I need a new battery which I'll have to fork out £40 for. I'm just going to buy a new player instead. My bad experience appears to be common. All of my friends with iPod Mini's have had problems. One person's click wheel somehow stopped responding, another's hard drive fatally corrupted, another has a battery problem just like me. iPod's aren't what they're hyped up to be.

I have had an iPod Mini MP3 player since they were released on the market. Although the storage capacity is not as high as some of the other iPod's, it is definitely worth the sacrifice for the smaller size of the Mini.

My ipod does not stay charged for more than a couple of hours - so take it for a day out and I can listen to it on the way out, but not on the way back. I do a lot of long-haul flying (main reason I bought it) and I can only get a couple of hours out of it in-flight. Sent it to be fixed, but it doesn't seem any better now I have it back.

I was originally bought the Apple iPod Mini MP3 player for my birthday back in 2004. At first it was brilliant, but after I put more than 500 songs on it, it started jamming up and freezing, which is bad for a product which costs £179.99.
Then there's the rubbish battery life!! I sent it back to Apple and complained, but all they did was put on the new firmware for a Mac computer. I had to then restore my iPod back to the factory settings.
The price which is a total rip off at £179.99. I think this is too much for a personal music player, as I find the cheap USB ones better.

The Apple iPod Mini MP3 player is fantastic!! It's not too big and not too small; it's just perfect!! The sound is fantastic; especially on big speakers, and it's very easy to find your music on this incredible piece of technology.
5***** stars! Well worth the money!!
A little note: I have had the iPod Nano for 2 days and it is already scratched too pieces, so I wouldn't recommend the Nano!!

If you are looking to buy an mp3 player whatever you do don't get a mini ipod!! I got one for my birthday 2 months ago and am about to take it back for the third time. When I connect it to my computer itunes doesn't recognise that it has come up so I can't put any music on it. Also the headphones are of a very poor quality and go all fuzzy after about 2 weeks.

The circle is the Apple iPod Mini mouse and if you spin your finger round inside the circle, you can navigate.
You can also use it as a alarm clock or a PDA!

25.08.05 - I am currently now on my third Apple iPod Mini MP3 player!! Having received my Mini iPod in late February, it has been nothing but a time consuming burden. It originally worked for three months with the occasional hitch of freezing, and poor battery life, then in late May it stopped working after a mere 20 minutes (after a full charge). I received a replacement after three and a half weeks, and this worked for a week. Apple treated me very badly. READ THE SMALL PRINT, and if your getting it personalised allow 3 weeks extra while they send it to Asia.

I thought being a PC person that the ipod mini was just a fad and all hype....Way to go Apple you have gained my respect.
Ipod has come a long way since three years ago with a very poor battery back then.

I have owned a Mini iPod for a year now, and I've had to send it back 5 times. The headphones are useless (they just break), and the battery is terrible. Although it is lightweight, and the customer service is great.
I do recommend it to others, but before you decide to buy one, compare it to other MP3 players!

I wouldn't recommend the Apple iPod Mini MP3 player. It is not worth the money, and the battery life is a big disappointment. Your rechargeable old batteries will have more battery life than the battery life of the Mini iPod.

I bought an Apple iPod Mini in the USA immediately after its launch in September 2004. Due to Prolonged use and travelling in India, an amount of dust got inside it.
As the product was still under warranty, I called their Service Centre, and was told that the product could not be serviced as it is a MOULDED product. So just throw it away, and buy a new one if it stops working due to dust.

If you plan on listening to music on the iPod Mini, it will die on you in no time. This product is the WORST.

I got my Ipod mini 4 months ago. The software was not great, but once worked out, it was straight forward to use.
I did get a lot of use out of the mini, but I have sent it back, and received a refund for one reason only. The battery life is a joke. At first I was getting about 6 hours before a recharge. I was not happy with this, but this was getting worse by the week. In the end, it was lasting about 4 hours. I have since found out from other people, that this is a known problem!
You have been warned!!!

I got a pink mini ipod in January 2005..i was meant to be getting it for christmas but they were sooo out of stock that i didnt manage to get one until january. When i first got it i was very impressed with it..it was straightforward to work and it sounded great. Six months on i am still quite impressed..however i recently realised the battery life doesn't last as long after charging it for a long time, (if it was to be dead i'd put it on charge at night and take it off charge in the morning). I also noticed that the volume of the songs seems to be quieter than they used to be. However it is a sexy little piece of art!X

I just got my Apple iPod Mini today and I have been absolutely thrilled with it so far. Its so cute! Its the best thing I have ever bought. Its really clever. You just plug it in and add iTunes automatically which uploads all the songs in your libary! It has excellent sound quality and you can even play games on it while you listen to songs. Its absolutely brilliant and you can get absolutely loads on it! If you are thinking of buying an MP3 player. Buy a mini iPod. They're brilliant! Pure brilliance and anyone who says that they're not are probably just jealous of everyone who has one.

I love my i-pod! I bought a 6G about 2 months ago and never leave home without it. I also bought an i-trip and have it constantly playing in the car. It's great for gym, walking, work, car, anywhere!

The Apple iPod Mini - Priced well nowdays, but by the time you add the variety of addons, price goes up.

Having owned my Apple iPod Mini for over a month now, I can easily say it's one of the coolest players out there. It has a great user interface, great battey life, and the build quality is good too. But it's size and feel makes you very wary about taking it out in the big bad world. I was almost scared to take it out for if it got scratched or stolen. So I would recommend if you buy one to buy an "iSkin mini" as it protects the whole iPod, including the screen. Go Buy an iPod Mini!

Day 2 I did encounter a problem. I switched it on and it just displayed a pic of a folder and an exclamation mark so I plugged it into my pc and when i took it back out it started working. Fingers crossed it wont happen again.=)
