“Scheduled delivery failed to come and no phone contact”

On friday I phoned confirmation for delivery with Furdeco who deliver for Debenhams and received their confirmation text. Delivery was scheduled for between 8am and 11am yesterday(sunday). They have my mobile number and asked for home number in case of problems. I waited home all day but no delivery and no contact regarding why. Tried calling the delivery company but their offices are closed weekends.

“Where is my refund!!”

Sent products back over 3 weeks ago and despite numerous phone calls I am still waiting on my refund. Avoid this service at all costs. Rude customer service staff.

“The worst company for customer service”

Order no 700008543407 Ordered on 28 th nov, still waiting on 16 th dec. have rang 6 times, I am now expected to ring their couriers to track my order. I bought from debenhams and the not the couriers. Debenhams need to get in touch with the courier and inform me on where my order is. I just looked at the couriers review, if I knew what I know now I would have never ordered from debenhams. Call yourselves a department store is a joke. The big concern I have is I am being told now that I cannot cancel my order after 30 minutes of placing the order. Debenhams need to get their act together and stop treating customers with disdain.

“ATROCIOUS ONLINE SERVICE”

I ordered an item to give as a Christmas present. Today the 13th Dec. I rec'd an email informing me my order was cancelled & payment refunded. No explanation as to why. Reading the comments on here and on their FB page I won't be shopping with Debenhams again.

“avoid online order!!!”

ordered two items online, one arrived within 2 days no problem but when tracking the item it says that i had in fact recieved the item i was actually waiting for. in order to get in touch with customer services to inform them of their mess up they have the cheek to only provide 0844 numbers where i was then told yes your item was sent back as it was unfit for delivery, would you like a refund as they are no longer in stock...DUH!! didnt have an email or a phonecall from anyone to inform me i would not be recieving the product and only got a refund when i chased it...very poor service.

“ Krups dolca gusto mini me coffee machine”

Very noisy although makes a nice coffee you only get six pods with this machine. Three coffee and three mik, instructions very unclear on the krups, pictures no writing instructions , Easier to read on line. Downlload the pdf instructions on line then print or send to adobe this makes life a lot easier.

“USLESS DELIVERY SYSTEM ”

I ordered 2 items. One being the Clarisonic and one some make up. i received the order promptly but when opening it only one of the items has been sent to me. i paid for both and the delivery note stated both had been shipped to me. To top this off the clarisonic which i had spent over £100 had been opened and the box was ripped. Like it has just been picked up of a shelf in a store! it didn't look brand new at all. I have contacted their customer serves and after being on hold for 10 minutes i was told they were unable to help me as my over was over £100!! i was told to wait to be contacted by the relevant department and this could take 72 hours. after they contacted me i could 'possibly' have my item exchanged Having spent over£100 this is not the sort of service i was expecting. I was also shocked to find they shipped my item with Royal Mail and there was no sign to say the item was fragile so people would handle it with care .. so I'm guessing it was bashed around looking at the state of the package will not be ordering from them again!!

“Rubbish!”

made an online order on 03/11/14- apparently it was despatched on 10/11/14 and 5 days later still not received!! Been on hold to customer services now for nearly 1 hour...NOT GOOD ENOUGH! Will not be shopping with Debenhams ever again!

“Dress was so creased spent over an hour ironing it”

ordered online for click and collect parcel was at local store 2 days later :) when a staff member came back with my parcel i thought that can't be my John Rocha dress as the bag was 12ins x12ins and the dress was a satin 1950 prom dress with a double petti coat (the ones what flare outwards) got home and it was so creased . i needed it for that evening out so had to wear it. spent over an hour ironing all the layers. i was so upset. here was me thinking it would come on a nice coat hanger and with the designers bag over it like a dress bag they use at a dry cleaners :( don't know weather to ring customer services. i did take photo of how bad it was

“Useless”

wanted to contact a store to check stock, given incorrect department and no answer. Called customer services charged for the pleasure they could not get thru so asked me to call the store as they are not allowed to call customers back. A frustrating and costly experience. John Lewis gave me quick clear accurate information ordered they are a dream to deal with. Will avoid buying from debenhams plus find the stores a bit messy and difficult to find the product you want.

“4 times calling at £6”

1 piece of my order not received & was told to ring back 4 times,they only now have said they will contact concession and call me back but had to ring back to find out they will contact me back in 3 DAYS & its already been 2 weeks, beautiful items for sale but lose any saving & free p&p having to chase never arriving items. very disappointed in what I thought was an higher class shop. terrible.

“ lunch at Debehams cafe in Rushmere ”

Had chicken curry and chips lunch with my partner at Rushmere Complex in Craigavon. The chips were hard inside and the curry was like a watery sauce with a few minute pieces of chicken dotted through it. It was awful and i will not be back.

Customer service does not exist. No-one actually wants to help you even if it is Debenhams who are at fault. Exceedingly slow to process returns, I am actually wondering if I will ever get my money back. I have asked to close my account and even this has not happened. Shop anywhere but here, if you have a problem you may as well give up. One star is one star too many.

“DONT BUY FROM DEDENHAMS ONLINE!!”

I ordered 2 bikini tops online 4 days before going away. I PAID THE £4.99 FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY - did not arrive even though their 'order status' said it had been dispatched. Rang customer services who said I would definitely get it the following day - NO SHOW! I had to travel up to their London branch and had to make do with another size. Have come back from my holiday and still no delivery 12 DAYS LATER!! Rang customer services AGAIN who do not know what has happened with the order. I have demanded a full refund including the NEXT DAY DELIVERY CHARGE AND MY TUBE FARE. WILL NEVER USE DEBENHAMS ONLINE AGAIN!

“Worst customer service”

I ordered a dress for an event 2 weeks ago. I paid extra for next day delivery. My dress did not show up in time, Debenhams had no solution to my problem and could only offer a refund for the delivery, which 2 weeks later has still not been refunded. I have called the service 5 times now and each time have been promised a call back which has never happened. The dress arrived after the event that I needed it for and Debenham's solution was to tell me to take it to my nearest store for a refund. When I called to make a complaint there was never a manager available I was told that someone would call me back and they never did. On the final occasion I spoke to them I was told that it had already been logged as a complaint so talking to a manager was unnecessary!

“They Just dont Care”

As someone who works in a customer facing role I understand the importance of empathy and concern towards customer concerns - even if I didn't necessarily agree with their views. I had thought that a big High Street brand like Debenhams would be kings of customer service - how wrong was i! Their returns policy actually conflicts with your basic consumer rights - but they seem unconcerned about this. For me the cost of the item in question was trivial in comparison to the loss of trust I now have. Debenhams - get your act together. You've just lost a customer who spent over £330 with you this year over an iten that cost just over a tenner!

“Awful Customer Service”

The customer service teams just don’t care. I placed an order on the 27th May 2014 (716858834). I was sent the wrong order. I called you and you said you would collect the wrong item and re-send the correct item. You did neither. Second call to yourselves. You advised items would be on the way. Still items not received and still no collection. On the 6th June a Myhermes driver arrived for a collection but no parcel delivered. Ring you up again for the third time. (I am being charged to keep ringing) you and then inform me that the order has been cancelled! No correspondence whatsoever received in relation to this cancellation – unbelievable. Please advise when I will receive a refund ASAP. The whole process is a disgrace and you owe me money for items you haven't sent to me.

You order some item in good faith believing in the promise of the ad. Nothing is true you have been gulled. Ringing the stores exposes you to ridicule politely expressed. I deeply regret at having anything to do with this company.
