Regarding the "PHONE MEMORY FULL" issue. I've been using this phone for past 2 years and I also have a same problem with all of you. The first time this problem occurred I brought it to Nokia Service Center and they said that they just have to reprogram my cp and it will never happen again.. But a month after, my cellphone keeps on saying again that my "phone memory is full" even though I am not using the phone memory and almost deleted all the files stored in it. Then I decided to bring it back to Nokia Center again.. For the second time, they said it again that they have to reprogram my cp again. So I let them do it again and I paid 560 for full package of reprogram. But again, after 2mos., the "phone memory issue" appeared again.. 2years using it, it is the 3rd time that the "PHONE MEMORY FULL" issue occurred again.. I wonder how it happens but I ask almost all the cellphone technician about this problem and there is only one solution for this.. It is to "DISPOSE THE N73 CELLPHONE UNIT" because there is no way to fix this problem and whatever you do it will always come back the same old problem. It is a defect of Nokia N73 that's why they discontinued it selling to the market. I really love this phone that's why its so hard for me to dispose this unit although i know my problem will not be solved forever. I hope that NOKIA will be responsible for it.. Its so expensive but then its not worth the money.. They just wasted our money in buying this unit that is not good to use. PLEASE NOKIA, GIVE US AN EXPLANATION WHY THIS PHONE HAVE A "PHONE MEMORY FULL" ISSUE AND WE ARE HOPING THAT THERE COULD BE A SOLUTION FOR THIS. Or else.. I guess.. All Nokia phone is not worth buying..

The Nokia N80 gained popularity from N73 but the research work done on mobile models tells us as the Nokia's N73 set is far better than Nokia N80. This research also clears more plus point of Nokia N73 which is this model is more efficient and flexible then It's new version but also it is cheaper.

The 116g N73 sometimes also referred as Multimedia Computer. The reason behind that name is its extensive functions like Web Browser, Video calls camera, MP3 Player, Photo Camera, Bluetooth etc. Like in all N-Series Mobiles the Nokia N73 also have Media Player 10 and WMA file support along with stereo audio support. The Nokia N73 is a great music player too as it supports a lots of audio and video formats like MP3, WMA and AAC.

Nokia N73 is simply the best from Nokia's N series Mobile models. The N73 IS 3G Smart phone with fantastic camera video/picture quality, FM Radio, video calling and of course music player. The N73 Nokia mobile gained a great popularity in market. Even nowadays when more than three or four years are passed the Nokia N73 is the still popular mobile set. The fact is that the N73 is a smart phone plus Camera. As compare to its previous version which actually was N70 which was more than 70% smart phone and just 30 % camera. But, Nokia N73's 3.2 Mega pixel Camera's brilliant clarity and color makes N73 as 50% Camera. Also, it adds a Carl zeiss auto focus lens which makes photos sharper.

Not impressed with the Nokia N73 at all. The phone has been trouble since the first month I had it. It has been in for repair on 5 occassions. It turns itself off when it feels like it and very slow on sending and receiving messages. It will also stop working so constantly you have to turn phone off to get it to work properly again. Camera resolution is very good though.

overall good, i currently use 1, have been using the Nokia N73 for 2 years now, and it's the second new 1 , the 1st 1's joystuck stopped working after 6 months, i have taken extra good care of the new 1, the phone seems to slow down after a bit and i find i need to reboot every now and then, the colour fades off the face and back of phone, the camera slide seems to become too sensitive and closes the camera if you touch in the wrong place, but good day to day phone.

This was my second N-Series phone after the N70, the first thing I noticed was the incredibly clear resolution, the leap to 240x320 makes a world of difference. The phone is actually quite good looking and less chunky than some. Day to day operation is a breeze and for those wanting a bit more the phone is feature packed. The camera is excellent though not as good as the N95's, video quality is adequate also. Memory can be expanded through the memory card port, I had 1Gb which was more than adequate at the time. The interface is typical S60, reliable and modular. This was the first phone I had that I could add applications to. I had a SNES and Mega Drive emulator along with DOOM running on the phone. Other system tools and features can be added also. All of this makes owning a N-Series phone an enjoyable experience for those willing to put in the work.

Of all the Nokia Nseries I would say that this is the most practical to use and very hand. It has all the features that you need without really being overly too functional that some functions you may never use. The functionality is so practical that each feature is for everyday use whether for business or for leisure. It is very practical to use indoors as well as outdoors, you may leave it at home but you would rather have it with you at all times. Even after the Nseries released the next of the long series I would always go back to this model. It's like having your wife and your girlfriend too.

“I have bought the Nokia N73 phone one year and a half...”

★★★★★

written by on 21/08/2008

I have bought the Nokia N73 phone one year and a half after its release with the view that a year is plenty of time for initial teething problems to be resolved. My little bundle of communication has no faults that it is so often associated with.

It is a fairly solid phone: it feels nice in the hand and perhaps a little heavy - but it's certainly no brick. Texting is easy, all the more simplified by that you add your addressee prior to sending. The sound quality of a phone call is pretty good, and absolutely fantastic in comparison to the Motorola phones I've owned.

The battery life is better than of any phone I've owned. I tend to listen to music a fair bit on it, and I can go for 5 days without having to recharge.

This is a fantastic jack of all trades phone.

The camera is alright in comparison to a decent digital camera; in comparison to a phone camera it is fantastic. Many of my photos on facebook appear from this phone. The video, unfortunately, is still of similar quality to most phones - but better than most nonetheless.

A big bonus for this phone is that it has such a large screen. This means that you can actually see what you're doing without poking your nose into the phone. I love that you don't have to scroll and rescroll to read a text message.

The MP3 player is user friendly, and with a 2GB card I can store a heck of a lot of music. The ear phones are very comfortable. I've never owned a SE, so cannot compare, but the music quality is decent. One thing that annoys me is that if you wanted to switch to different ear phones - you can't, the ear phone socket is of specific design. But I like the ones supplied, so it's not a problem for me. Another annoyance is that the phone does not recognize MP3 format - you have to convert all the music you want on your mobile into the M4A format (which you can do with the software provided with the phone). This doesn't take too long, and it does mean that there's plenty of storage for other things on the phone, so not a great evil.

The phone in itself is pretty simple and user friendly. It didn't take me very long to figure it out. If you were to sit down and play with it for half a day upon getting it (as people generally do to get over the initial excitement of getting a shiny new toy), you're sure to find it easy to use.

The FM radio works great, however I use it very rarely seeing as all my favourite tracks are on the phone ready to be listened to.

In fact, there are many features on this phone I have used rarely, if at all. However the ones I have used - I use regularly and I am happy with them.

Summary: this phone is a good all rounder. The camera and MP3 player aren't the best on offer, but they're good enough to substitute the real thing. Battery life is surprisingly good for a phone with such a large screen. And to top it all off - you can use it to make phone calls too.

Ive had the Nokia N73 phone for a year now. Had the locking up problem in the first week just took it back to shop and had the firmware updated, no problems since. I like the MS VISTA style when browsing the gallery folders. The camera takes good sharp photos, the autofocus works well and also has a good range of shooting options. The image resolution is 300dpi which amazed me as I have a Sony 8mp compact camera and its resolution is a measly 75 dpi. With its built in stereo speakers playing music tracks sound better than other single speaker phones. Fairly good volume also with variable equalizer options. All in all its been a good phone. Fit a big memory card and you have a one stop solution when going on holiday, only one charger to pack and you got a phone ,camera and mp3 player that fits into one pocket.

All the negatives ive heard of for the N73 have happened to me, (though i've just fixed the main one) but i've also benefited from all the positives it has to offer, which is why I still really like this phone and I'm still using it after 15 months, I even gave my 12 month upgrade Sony Ericsson phone to my girlfriend because I preferred this one!
