Renault megane coupe
Thought price was too good to be true and was almost put off buying after reading a bad review but thank goodness i wasnt.
Found the transaction very smooth,price was as quoted and specification of vehicle correct and delivered on time.The guys were very polite and helpful and always available to answer any queries.Paid initial deposit on credit card of £350 (receipt arrived very quickly)which was deducted from final invoice.
Will certainly recommend Nationwide car sales to anyone.

Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec purchased 1st March 10
First time using this method of purchase via internet and was a little apprehensive. However service was excellent, car delivered to my wifes place of work on time and excellent value for money. Will not be buying new from a ford dealership again!!!
Service book and handbook not sent with car but has been promised in the post within 7 days.
Log book will be sent out after 6 months

I bought a ford focus st3. Great price. Customer service was excellent, even after deposit paid. Delivered on day required. Delivery driver friendly. Paperwork came as and when expected. I would recommend highly. Ian

I Bought a New Ford KA from Nationwide Cars, customer services were great, always friendly and dealt with everything excellent. Many thanks to Luke and Ian at Nationwide who were very helpful and friendly and got back to me at all times. The KA came on time, delivery drivers were friendly, and i love my car! i would recommend this company to anyone - don't be put off by he negative reviews as i would definatley by from them again with their great savings of around 3k! Great value for money!!

I was quite worried about buying a car i had not seen, but my worries were unfounded. I ordered a new Ford Fiesta, it arrived on time, in perfect condition, the customer service was fantastic, and i'm loving the car, it's brilliant. Also saved me nearly £3k on the forecourt price. To think i nearly payed the same for a second hand one. I would recommend this to anyone. Yes the log book may take 6 months before it arrives, so what? As long as it gets to me eventually, who cares. Don't be put off by any negative reviews.

I have today received my long awaited Ford Fiesta Titanium. I ordered the car in March and due to production delays have waited longer than anticipated for delivery. During this time I have had regular updates and contact with Nationwide Cars. They have always been polite and returned my calls. The price I paid for the car out weighs the wait. Yes I would use Nationwide Cars again. Think!! Who is to blame for the wait Nationwide Cars or the manufacturer?

We were a little apprehensive buying a car without actually seeing it first but had no problems. The owners were helpful, easy to contact and gave us a very good deal. We paid a deposit and the balance on delivery. The car arrived on time and was exactly as described over phone. Overall we were very pleased with the whole experience and would buy from Nationwide Car Sales again.

After spending days looking for the best price possible for a Fiat Grande Punto I came across Nationwide Cars Sales. I have bought a lot of items over the internet including second hand cars but spending £11600 with out meeting the dealer took a leap of faith. The order system ran perfectly and a small deposit using a credit-card was all it took to get things moving. Originally told it would take ten weeks, to be fair with the world being in the mess it is I should have expected a delay! Apart from me doing the chasing to get info when the ten weeks was up everything went great. Fantastic car at a great price delivered in perfect condition. Very pleased.

I found the staff at Nationwide Car Sales to be friendly and helpful at all times during the stressful and at times worrying business of buying a car unseen from a voice at the other end of a phone. I signed a disclaimer form that I would not sell the car for six months so I am concerned to read other reviews that the log book was actually withheld. The car was delivered at the time given, 9.30 am and in clean condition in spite of a delivery distance of 480 miles. The driver was a mature man who seemed to care about the car. The price paid beat all the dealers in my area by a considerable margin and I would certainly buy again in the future and recommend the firm to other people. After reading some of the other reviews I feel that some people may have been unlucky with their problems apart from the retention of the log book. I consider this to be unnecessary in view of the disclaimer form duly filled in and signed.

Being naturally sceptical I was wary about buying a car over the internet / phone. However I found the staff at Nationwide Car Sales helpful and easy to deal with and the prices were the best I could find. My new car arrived last week at the estimated time. I would have no hestiation in using this company again.

I found Nationwide helpful on all occasions I spoke with them, although it was not easy to contact them as they often seem to be on answerphone.
I would use them again.
I bought a car considerably cheaper than if I had sourced it locally. It arrived on time in perfect condition.
The long delivery time seems to be in line with all dealers so no fault of Nationwide.
The only problem is that I have still not received the vehicle registration log after almost seven months. This is particularly annoying as I have a personalised number plate which I cannot transfer without the log book.

I received my new Mazda 6 today one month after my initial enquiry. The web site was really easy and informative, the staff were always very polite and helpful and if I could not get though on the phone I would leave a message and they would always call me back. I was kept informed of progress and delivery confirmed to suit me. Although the trade in price for my old car was low this was outweighed by the savings on the new car. The delivery driver called me to advise of the delivery time and even took the effort to jet wash the car prior to arrival. Based on my experience I would have no hesitation in recommending Nationwide Cars to others and will myself use them again.

I have always been sceptical of ordering items online however when I found myself in need of a new vehicle for quick delivery, due to an unfortunate incident with my previous car, I wished for a quick delivery and best price. I had contacted Nationwide Cars and explained my situation, the staff were very courteous and helpful. They informed me that the vehicle I was interested in could be obtained in 7-10 days time, which was very quick indeed and I was able to use a hire car provide to me by my insurance company whilst I waited for my car to be delivered. I was kept up to date over my order and contacted 3 days later by Nationwide Cars to be informed that the car had arrived into stock and offered a delivery date of Thursday 11th December which I duly accepted. The vehicle was delivered to me on Thursday at around 11am the driver had contacted myself prior to arrival, which I was very impressed by. The whole experience was an extremely pleasant one and far better then I could have imagined, I would recommend Nationwide Cars to anyone who wishes to purchase a new vehicle at an excellent price and with a high level of customer service.

Whilst the staff at Nationwide cars are always polite, there is no point ordering a car from this company if you ever want one to actually arrive. I am amazed that with this type of service they are still in business.
I have been car less since August and decided that the deals on Nationwide cars were so good that I would order a new car. I paid my £350 deposit and was told to expect a call in 10-12 weeks ready for delivery.
10 weeks later I had heard nothing so I contacted the company to find out how my order was progressing. It was at this point alarm bells began to ring as I was informed that I should wait another 2 weeks before expecting to hear anything. Two weeks passed so I called them and was reassured that they were waiting for a response from their supplier regarding the whereabouts of my car.
I then spent 4 weeks chasing my Nationwide Cars rep for updates. I barely ever received call backs and was always told the same response of "I am waiting for information from my supplier". Eventually it turned out that the dealer had lost my order number and was unable to find my car. I was then assured that despite not having and order number that the car had been ordered and that it would simply "turn up".
Last week I eventually decided that I had been taken for a ride for too long. All along I found it difficult to believe that it was possible to loose an order number (surely it could be tracked?!). Nationwide cars have now conceded that the order was never processed by their supplier and provided me with a full refund.
My main frustrations with Nationwide cars include:
1. Why do Nationwide cars not request order confirmations when processing customer orders with suppliers?!
2. Not answering all calls I made.
3. That Nationwide cars accept poor service from their suppliers - if it was my company I would be furious that they had been unable to process an order an then own up to it.
4. The explanation of "I am waiting for information from my supplier".
5. Their failure to suggest solutions to the problems - I felt I was generally leading the conversations.

Having done the rounds of the Ford dealerships in my area Nationwide Car Sales quite easily beat their quoted prices for a Mondeo 2.0 TDCi Zetec Estate, even with £1000 worth of extras added on. Delivery dates were inline with those of the main dealers. The car arrived on time and as per specification. The staff were always friendly & helpfull although sometimes difficult to contact. Although not a great fan of dealing with things over the phone or inter-net in all I found Nationwide easy to deal with. Although not for eveybody I would recomend Nationwide Car Contracts as an attractive alternative to main dealers.

I ordered a Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi in February 2008. I'm still awaiting delivery Sept 3rd. I don't mind so much, but I was contacted recently and told it would be ready for delivery on Sept 1st. Subsequently I have contacted them and am still waiting for a reply.
I will update my review if and when my new car turns up.

This gentleman's vehicle was finally delivered on the 24th September 2008. unfortunately the delay on the vehicle was beyond our control and was caused by the manufacturer themselves. He had promised to update the review upon receipt of his new vehicle but as yet seems not to have done so.

The service I received from National Car Sales was fantastic, all the staff I spoke to were very friendly, and always willing to help out. From the word go, I was constantly kept in the know about when the car would arrive, and all the small details about it. Plus they gave me a good price for my old car as a trade in.
I always felt pressured by sales people when going to look at cars, but having found the car I wanted I went to NCS and found the whole process stress free.
I would recommend them to everyone who is looking to purchase a car in the near future.

Just wondered what you would do if you had to produce your documents to the police during the 6 months you had to wait for your log book - then things become more complicated if that happened!
