When applying for a cash advance at cash converters in hove, portslade, station road I was accused on money laundering all because I stated the money was for investment for Jewellery, all checks went through find but the idiotic midget of a manger said there was two much risk on money laundering. If he had and intelligence or a hit of common sense, he would of asked himself who in there right mind would launder £200. To be completely honest I would debate the fact he wouldn't come close to the IQ of a ferret !

I went on their website and bought a pair of DJ CD players - or so I thought. Technical problems their end prevented both of my credit/debit cards working, it would not connect to the 3 D secure screen and they would not accept my payment, nor would they accept payment over the phone. The items were in my basket whilst I was going back and forth with the store and my card issuers to try and identify the problem...which of course was their website, but they at first denied this. Then the CD players disappeared out of my basket, and into another persons! At that point, after contacting their Levenshulme store again for the umpteenth time and complained as I had been the first person to try and buy these, "Riz" confirmed that their technical team had identified a fault connecting with the 3 D secure payment stage and that this other person couldn't pay for these either. I then said that I was very worried that I had been trying to pay for this item for over an hour and making numerous phone calls, helping identify a problem on their website, only for it to then be fixed and someone else then being able to buy them from under my feet. There was talk of taking the item off sale or refunding the new buyer if the payment went through. And of course, due to me telling Cash Converters of the problem, they got it fixed and this other person was able to pay in the end and they left me high and dry without a care in the world, after spending 2 hours and £10 on phone calls to try buy the items myself as I had got there first. I will never see a deal like that again and they couldn't care less despite me being there first and helping them fix their website, which in turn helped someone else get these over me. My overall experience with cash converters online, as been quite good, BUT lately, i have found that trying to get info by email can be quite difficult, which can and is frustrating, item's which i've had recently have been faulty ( i believe is due to lack of good testing ), also asking me to use my own money to send back their faulty item's & not rebursing the full amount

i bought a radio/cd player for my car,got a email saying it is packed and ready to be posted.so i waited and i waited,no parcel arrived,so I had to contact cashconverters and ask where it was.they said it got damaged so they never sent it,more likely they sold it for more money,but why not let me know it was not coming and they did not refund my money until i asked them too.very poor service.

Item was out of stock after ordering. Missed out on buying other items from elsewhere. Said it had been dispatched then days later I got a refund? Didnt give a reason for the refund until I asked.

I've had use cash converters many times before with no problems but this time it was my worst experience ever! Slow delivery, no communication and on the end item arrived in condition not as described. When I returned faulty laptop to the store they even didn't know it has arrived until I called next day and provided tracking number as a proof! I requested return postage costs by emailing to both Falkirk store and customer service but they didn't even bothered to replay. I guess customer service depends from branch location.

Regarding the transaction: After contacting your staff at the shop of purchase I found them to be helpful, polite and informative. 10 out of 10. Concerns: I have concerns that my details will be passed / sold to other businesses and I will be pestered with unwanted phone calls.

I placed an order for a kodak camera, paid for it & then a few hours later recieveemail saying I was being refunded for it. Pathetic

Ordered for the first time off Cash Converters the store item didn't arrive when you logged in it said waiting to be dispatched when I rang up they said it had been posted when questioned they said the person who deals with online sales was off for two more days. Next day item arrived with special delivery stamp on it to arrive by 1pm when I was told it had already been sent why LIE.

So i found a great bargain with a 3ds and charger as it said in the listing on there site. But when the item came in the post there was not charger. So rang up and within in a week we had a charger so. Will defiantly recommenced them and also a great company to sell you items to as well.

Ordered online and money taken from my bank. 3 days later had an email to say item no longer available as it had been sold in store. Then took 10 days for money go back into my accounts. Wouldn't use them again.

Buying from Cash convertors gives you the chance to pick up a bargain, I bought a near new DSLR camera for a fraction of the retail cost, my main issue is the lack of contact after the sale was done, having purchase the item over the new year bank holiday I did not expect the camera to arrive quickly, however I did have to contact the store to find out where it was! the "person" who runs the online shop went sick and my goods just sat in the store, I can understand this but would have liked an email at least, Having called to express my concerns the camera arrived the next day, so perhaps they just need a little reminder! overall good and will use again, different stores have different experiences, some have good contact and reply quickly other seem not to bother.

Looking for a very specific item and found it. Goods arived 2 day later, exellent!
