MobileShop is Rubbish, beyond belief. I ordered a Nokia 6230i from them and when the phone arrived the manual was entirely in German. I have transferred my old number across from Orange which has happened today so my old phone is now useless. As they haven't sent me a manual in English yet I have had to figure out how to fit the SIM, battery, and memory module myself.

I rang them before ordering over the net and was clearly and unequivocally told that I would not have to pay for my mobile number to be transferred from Orange to O2 as long as I ordered over the internet. Guess what? They charged me for it. I exchanged a series of e-mails with their customer service who repeatedly ignored that I had been told the number transfer would be free.

After fitting the SIM etc and putting the back cover on I wanted to take the back cover off again to see if I could transfer the numbers on my old SIM. No chance. The back cover steadfastly refused to come off again. And yes, I was following the diagrams in my (german) manual and I checked on Nokia's web site as well.

So I rang their customer service and explained the situation. Their attitude towards their customers is as bad over the phone as it is via e-mail. Now I have to send the phone back at my expense, and even then they are not promising to replace the handset. What a silly, cutomer-hostile attitude. If THEY decide the handset is faulty then maybe they'll send me a new one, if I'm lucky.

I've even tried e-mailing their M.D. about all this but unsurprisingly, got no reply.

Surely there most be at least one good mobile phone company out there?

This is the third time I have used www.mobileshop.com and once again they have excelled themselves.
I plumped for a his and hers special, where you buy 1 phone on contract (only with orange for this deal) and you get the exact phone free on pay as you talk. 2 days later, 2 Sony Ericsson K700i's at my door. Cannot fault this company in any way, though if I was being pedantic, I would say the choice of BOGOF's phones is limited to 5 different handsets, Sony being the best of the bunch (IMHO).

Having dealt with Singlepoint4u directly for the last three years and encountered numerous problems e.g waiting a couple of weeks for my Niokia 7210 to be delivered last christmas and then being told i would have to pick it up myself from a store. when i finally got it they had changed my number without informing me ect.... I have been looking for a new phone and wanted the Sharp GX20 so i enquired around the shops, carphonewarehouse, the link ect... and got quotes from £150 to £250. At Mobileshop.co.uk i got mine for £50 plus insurance for £4.50 (normally £7.00 with Singlepoint). The customer service is spot on (phone lines open till 21.00) and you can check your delivery status on the website and they inform by e-mail. The phones take 2-3 days to come. Funnily enough Mobileshop.co.uk actually connect their contracts to Singlepoint4u who quoted me £200 for an upgrade and didnt seem bothered they would be losing a customer.

After having problems ordering the new Nokia 7250 on O2 from other sites (which used Singlepoint4u content provider), I was dubious as to the outcome with mobileshop.com. Due to the high price of this phone, I decided to take a step down and go for the 6610. To my surprise, I got a follow up phone call checking my credit card details within hours of calling. The following day, I received an email stating that the phone had been dispatched, and received the phone the very next day.

I've just received an Ericsson T39 from Mobileshop.com and am very impressed with the quality of service. Ordering on the 16th of December I expected delays with Christmas as most home delivery services get back logs at this time of year. The phone arrived in two days as promised and I received several emails telling me what was happening. I opened the package and was pleasantly surprised to find a few extras I hadn't counted on. Very impressed by the level of attention to detail. The accessories were bundled in a smart mobileshop.com branded box and the documentation enclosed in a branded envelope. All this speaks that they are meticulous in everything they do.

If you also include the fact that they are offering the best deals around by a long way you can see they are a winner. I know where I'm buying my next phone from.

Highly recommended.
