“Repair took 4 weeks when promised 3 days”

Having difficulty finding a local centre where my device could be fixed, I resorted to finding one online. mobilephonerepairing.com offered to fix my device for £100 (£40 more than what others were stating) however, the thing that attracted me to them was their claim of fixing my device in 2-4 days. I contacted them and after reassurance from the individual, on the other end of the line, that the device would be with me within the week, I sent my device of without hesitation. After a month of waiting and constantly being let down, I was promise a discount of around £20. However, after the repair, no discount for the appalling service was given and I am now in the process of disputing the charge set. Would definitely not recommend this company, even as a last resort.

“Dodgy”

It all looks kosher until you actually get to speak to them. Totally amateur. You can hear the punters at the market in the background. I was silly enough to order. They were incompetent enough to save me. When the UPS van hadn't arrived I amused myself by looking at the reviews. I bailed out immediately.

“I pad pro repair”

This company are incompetent... I sent my I pad pro for repair, it only needed the back replacing, it came back after 7 weeks!!!!It had a smashed screen, which they tried to justify ... I am furious! It looks like an elephant has stamped on it, DO NOT trust this company!!!!

From a company seemly professional, to rubbish company in five long weeks. Two day turn around, five weeks later, still don't have my dell laptop after numbers us calls, suffering abuse impudence, and down right ignorance from the companies representative. While he was the pinical of professionalism and the other man being the polar opposite, guess which one was the initial contact with the company! He took the money and had the laptop uplifted, with out difficulty. The knuckle dragging idiot, nearly opening his mouth to speak, contradicting even himself, well, he was unable to remember how the laptop was uplifted, so today when lying about payment methods, I can readily understand his predicament. Just a pity the company feels it necessary to used idiots when there is those unfit to live by themselves I.E. care in the community who could do so much better. Five weeks waiting for a laptop which was supposed to be a two days turn around, treated like an idiot trying to find out what was happening with the laptop, please, if you ever require any repair to anything, give yourself peace of mind, go to any other company. Overall rating cannot say zero!

“Cracked Kindle Screen”

I sent this company my Kindle to get the screen replaced and when it was sent back, which took nearly a week, not the 48 hours as they claim, and also cost a lot more than their original quote, the Kindle did not work properly. I spoke to Amazon and they said it sounded like the screen was fitted incorrectly and was putting too much pressur eon the screen, causing the Kindle to open things randomly and basically act completely haywire. They insist I send it back at my own expense, refusing any compensation of any sort. I have told them I have no confidence sending it back to them and have had to buy a new Kindle. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

“A bad mistake”

I blame myself for not taking the time to review this company. Had I read the reviews, I wouldn't have trusted them with my sons toy phone. They promise a 48 hour turn around which is fanciful in the extreme. They have had my phone for nearly two week and still cannot confirm a delivery date. Their quotation price for the repair has risen three times from £50 to £160 and its still not finished I suspect. I made it clear to them that I had to have my phone back by a certain date and if they couldn't guarantee that they were to cancel the repair and send my phone back to me. This they agreed to but two days after my deadline, I still do not have my phone, repaired or not. It is almost impossible to have meaningful dialogue with them as you can only communicate via their own email reply area on their site. In addition to this, they state that they will respond to you within 48 hours. Defiantly do not trust this company with you goods.

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!”

Whatever you do, do not send your phone to them. It seems like a great offer, £70 for them to collect your phone, repair it and return it to your door all in just 48 hours. After 5 days and £84 later (they forget to mention VAT isn't included in the original price) i finally received my 'repaired' phone only to find that despite the lovely new screen it didn't actually respond to touch along one side of the phone. Upon complaining i was told i must leave a message on their private message board and await further instruction. A week later i finally received a response telling me that they would take another look at it but i would have to pay the postage and packaging both to and from their base in manchester. I ofcourse protested this as it was their fault the phone was still broken and yet i was going to have to fork out another £30 where i could have gone to apple in the first place for just £55. In response i was told that i had agreed to this in the T&C's (even though these were sent after i had paid the deposit over the phone) and there was nothing they could do. The customer service is next to none with no complaints procedure over the phone, only their barely functioning message bored. The correspondence since i complained has been blunt and unprofessional. Whatever you do, do not proceed with this company. I will be sure to complain to trading services so hopefully no one else has to deal with them.

“nokia lumia 650 screen”

48hr turn around, I recently sent a nokia Lumia 650 in for a screen repair. Gent on the phone was great took a payments of 17.99 for postage and said the remainder of the quoted 69.99 would be collected upon completion of the repair. The phone was collected the same day amazing so far. After 4 days of no contact I emailed them to be told there was more damage than thought the price would now be 109.99. Discussed by the quote I advised not to repair and return the phone. To which I received a reply 3 days later stating now the phone is beyond repair and I would have to pay an additional 11.99 for it to be returned. £30.00 for doing nothing. Postage I fully understand. After stating I was angry at this I was informed I had agreed to terms and conditions. Clearly they want to keep the phone to fix and sell on. After asking for the complaints department I was told there isnt one you need to complain on there secure page. Absolute joke of a company strongly suggest reading there reviews before using. No customer service what so ever

“Screen repair iPad ”

iPad Air 2 glass screen was cracked but the screen still playing it was just getting through and the touch screen started to jump through options! Quote were around £140 but elite phones could repair at £69.99 (Realised later as it was not too clear that VAT will be on top of this price). Easy to deal with fast and efficient phone call sent shipping details and sent by UPS. Then got worried after reading the reviews and everything is up front payment wise but never used before so gave them the benefit of my doubt! God only system for tracking then informed repair done and need to pay. Upfront to release for delivery! Came when it said checked out fine looks as new no unsightly glue or edges am very happy with it and nothing else seems wrong so I do recommend them from my experience!

this company promised the could repair sonny ipod docking station in 4 days and return it to me aaaaaaaaaaa what can I say ipod was deliverd in 1 day confirmed then I don't hear anything for 5 days I got in touch by email using password given to me promises promises but no ipod cant speak to anybody keep being refer to email still no ipod for all I know could be fixed and sold on just received one email saying cant be fixed putting it down to experiance

“gross poor service ”

This company have sent back a mobile phone Sony Experia Z3 compact that they had supposedly fixed for my son. big joke, on opening the package the screen had been cracked. when trying to resolve this issue the admin staff person said it was void as the screen was cracked and that they would not repair it or give a refund. whichever technican repaired the phone, he/she didn't do a very good job because the screen was only fixed at the sides and not the middle, yet they still sent it back? I'm not surprised it was cracked as it hadn't been securely glued in place. Yet between them and their so called courier service it had been broken! because it wasn't sent in its original packaging this makes the whole repair warranty invalid! Who keeps the original packing just in case their phone breaks? They also said the Chief Executive - a likely story, he didn't have a telephone number or an email address to discuss it further, so what does that tell you about this company? This company have taken my son's hard earned money of £130.00 for nothing, and they have stopped him accessing his work because of their non repair. Their customer service attitude was insolent and no concillatory offer as a gesture of goodwill was offered in terms of a refund. Do not use this company they are awful!

“Avoid don't do what I did ”

I had a smashed screen so I sent it for repair to them they seemed to be the cheapest so I went with them. After I sent my phone they would get the screen and fix it. It took 3 months to get the screen lieing constantly saying it was coming and many lies of why it hasn't come and saying it had when it didnt and blocking my call so they didn't have to talk to me so most of it had to be don't by email. Then the phone was fixed they sent it back the quality was so poor my fingers cracked the screen by touching it the Wi-Fi didn't work and they blamed me saying it was Sony quality parts when it looked poor and put on poor they refused to fix it and offered me £5 off at most and blamed me so and basically said they wasn't any warranty on it when they said thier will be there liers and cheating people out of money someone has to stop them. Please I beg u not to go with this company they are fake and with take Ur money and lie

“AVOID”

Why couldn’t I have seen these reviews BEFORE I dealt with this company? I contacted them by phone and was told that it would cost £90 to get my phone’s screen repaired including shipping. I agreed and was asked for my card details and had to pay the deposit of £17.50. Afterwards, I was emailed a shipping label that in small print notified me that there would be an extra 20% VAT added onto the price. This had never been mentioned over the phone and the email was only sent after they had taken my £17.50 deposit. I sent my phone to them along with a message on their site giving my phone’s screen password which they replied to. I received an invoice for £108 and once I had paid this fee I was messaged saying that because I had not provided my phone’s screen password “the device could not be fully tested” (even though I HAD sent my password). I also noticed that £108 had been taken out of my account in addition to the £17.50 they had already taken. So in total the £90 job had cost £125.50. I received the phone a few days later and of course the job was horrendous. There was lumpy black glue all along the phone’s screen outline and it had chips all along it also. When I turned the phone on there were yellow patches in certain areas that are VERY visible on white backgrounds and when you swiped along the edges the screen would make those tie-dye patterns that LCD screens make when you press too hard. I contacted the company by phone and by email and was told that “the device has been through a full test before it was dispatched to you” and that it was working perfectly. This is unusual considering I had already been told they could not fully test the phone as I had not provided a password! After calling 3 times already I have been given various excuses in relation to my deposit but there is no sign of it being refunded. There is no way they will refund me the hidden VAT charges as they insist that it was outlined in the terms and conditions that were sent to me AFTER I had paid a deposit. They told me that I can send them my phone again and “IF” it falls under their warranty when they inspect it I won’t have to pay any additional costs for repairs. A quick Google and I’m now aware that there are uncountable negative reviews, YouTube videos, and an entire Facebook page dedicated to warning others of this disgraceful company. Learn from my mistake and AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Report to trading standards

Quoted £360+VAT to replace hard drive, load Windows 10, replace power port & supply. this process started in March now touching June work done so far is the HDD replaced and windows 10 loaded. still in talks regarding the replacement of the power port and supply taking forever, only have email contact this service is unacceptable. DO NOT USE THESE COWWBOYS!!

“Is this a fraudulent company ?”

Contacted on the 1st of May collected 4th May. after contacting several times told on the 19th May "beyond economical repair" waited 2 weeks with no communication to be told can't fix it. No one will speak to you, everything must be on line, no explanation given whats wrong, whats the cost why did it take 2 weeks instead of 2 days. Then to add insult to injury told to pay another £9.99 to get the console back. So all in all charged £34.49, took over two weeks and still not repaired or returned.is this a way of getting cheap parts to use in future repairs. This is an awful company who couldn't care less about the customer and refuses to even talk to them on any level. avoid at all costs...

“After getting a quote to replace the faulty power...”

After getting a quote to replace the faulty power issue. (£120) They said the screen was smashed during delivery. It happens. (£300-400) However I do not need the screen as I use a projector. They kept insisting on repairing it even though I told them no. After messaging back and forth many times and they realised I was not going to pay them for the over priced job. The cost was back to £120. Then they emailed me again saying there is something wrong with the hard drive which would cost more to repair. I did not replay as they said they would keep in contact. EVENTUALLY they emailed back saying they fixed the power issue but now the computer was overheating. (note that the hard drive issue was never mentioned again.) They said that they will fix the broken GLASS for free (also note that this was apparently a job that could cost up to £400) and charge £99.99 to "improve the cooling system". I then asked him if after all this, would the computer be all fixed, he said yes. So apparently the screen didn't smash and it was only the glass. From what Ive seen in the there reviews, they will try to charge me VAT. However, I asked them if there would be any additional charges other than what Ive been told. they said no. So I do not think they will be able to charge me this "VAT" after saying I didn't need to pay them. I will cut my losses and sell the computer as spares and repairs on eBay. Do not use them.

Sent phone for repair wouldn't turn on they said they had fixed a new port only worked for a few days then same problem wouldn't charge sent it back at my cost now they are saying my fault I have damaged the port by plugging in the wrong way as if. I am a pensioner and have paid £105.00 in total and still the phone doesn't work very rude after sales insisting my fault when I said I wouldn't pay for the postage to return it said he would keep the phone. Total Rip off merchants. Hundreds and hundreds of people having problems with this company . They should be stopped . I have reported them to the manchester Citizens Advice and they are to report them to Trading Standards. Like another reviewer they damage your device and ask you to pay to repair it. I was sent an email to say they had repaired my phone today when I had already said I didn't want it repaired. DONT USE THEM

“Useless and Dishonest”

An inoperative camera on my phone. They charged me for the courier to take it to them and did not deduct this from the final invoice even though they state "we pick up the item for repair using UPS". Furthermore they claim to have replaced the hardware and reloaded the second ft ware but the camera still doesn't work. Please avoid them - give your gadget to a ten year old you may have better luck!

I have Samsung Galaxy Note II phone. I was using it okay soon after purchasing it but suddenly I am not able to login. When put on it goes direct to the Samsung Galaxy Welcome screen and then POP messages come on for all Applications with the pop up messages as follows: "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped." Ok. This pop up messages comes on for several other applications. How do get the phone working normal again? Regards
