Bought a silver ring with crystals. After a few weeks crystals fell out. Got it exchanged but now ring is losing silver colour and turning bronze colour. Would never shop here again.

“no refund policy”

Birthday ruined by no refund policy. curb chain purchased instore at Nuneaton for precious crucifix, to replace previous H. Samuels rubbish. their products would not fit crucifix and wouldn't give me my money back....credit voucher for more of their rubbish!!!! gave wife credit note for a lot of money for stuff she doesn't want there. I have been robbed. Don't go to these people, period, instore. you are better off online, at least you get your money back!!!!!

“Would never shop there again”

My daughter bought me a bracelet with a charm on for my birthday, the charm came off first day, took it back to exchange, was told I must have done it, terrible customer service, can't find complaints procedure.

“Faulty goods but refuse refund”

Item worn twice but then broke. Asked for refund and told they don't do refunds. Quoted Sale of Goods Act and Consumer Rights Act. Still refused to refund me. Told them that they were breaking the law and announced it when shop was full of customers and told other customers not to buy there. Suddenly got a refund! Blatantly flouting the law. Awful service won't buy there again!

“Insulting customers!”

I visited Ilford Warren James Store, only to be subjected to inults! 2 female staff were in the store 28/8/17 around 4pm. When I was insulted for no apparent reason. I was just purely looking at some necklaces when the female member of staff, suggested what she thought i looked like to her collegue! To my disgust I asked; Is there a problem? The staff who disrepected me said; " No, my collegue was disgussing your blouse". Which was clearly not the case. I decided to go out shopping purely for that intension and nothing else! It seems to me to be very childish to name call individuals who simply are intrested in products and nothing else. She needs reminding of her duties as this is not professional behaviour and brings down the name of Warren James in ilford! Disgusted customer.

“Wouldn't recommend this jewellers”

My husband and I got married last August we bought our matching white gold wedding bands from Warren James Southport. My husband's ring has looked tarnished for a long time so much so it looks like a cheap brass plumbers olive. I took it back to the store and was told there was nothing they could do and that it must be his skin?! The inside of the ring is fine so surely that would be the first part to go? I would NOT recommend buying from Warren James, cheap and inferior quality products

“dont shop here”

bought a bangle for my grand daughter it was too small they would not refund and there was nothing else i would have like to buy for her apparently you can only get a refund if you buy on line how stupid is that told all my friends and family to stay away from this retailer

“Not fit for purpose -ring”

My partner bought me a ring at Christmas which I was delighted with. However within afew weeks the main stone had fallen out andvrinf was ruined. My partner contacted Warren James and returned the ring this was months ago. We have not heard anything back. Extremely disappointed both with product and lack of customer care

“Where is the ring I ordered”

I visited the Nottingham store on Saturday to buy a ring, it was out of stock in my size but was advised to order online, I placed my order the very next day, expecting to receive it in a few days, today I receive notification from PayPal that you have refunded my PayPal account.... I have not received any correspondence from your company, no explanation and no apology! Here was me waiting to receive my lovely ring! Is this how you treat your customers? NO APOLOGY......NO COMMUNICATION.....NO SERVICE..... One disgusted customer, I look forward to receiving your comments!

“Diamonds fall off and a dent in necklace ”

Wanted to give earrings to a friend for her wedding. A diamond in it fell out. The quality was rubbish I also bought a heart necklace and there was a dent in it like a part chipped off. I'm so disappointed

“RUDE STAFF, RUBBISH JEWELLERY ”

My boyfriend had bought me a Fortuna ring, in a rose gold colour as a surprise. I had returned the ring for a bigger size with no issues, however within a week of having the ring, the rose gold coating had disappeared completely and scratched leaving an unpleasant gray smudging affect, as well as this the crystals from the front of the ring had fallen out. I took the ring back and was told in a patronising manner by the manager of the store "You must've showered or got perfume on the ring" which I hadn't. I was given a card of the care required for the ring and I followed it all correctly but of course the shop couldn't take any responsibility for the lack of quality within the product. The staff need to be reminded that just because you're a young person, you should still have the same consumer rights as somebody older, because my boyfriends mother took the ring back and got quite a different reception from them.

“Misleading 'refund' policy”

My fiancé bought me a wedding ring from Warren James in Croydon at the weekend (8 July 2017). I was unsure of the ring and said that we might want to return it if we found something I liked more. The sales assistant advised that we had 16 to return it. What she didn't say is that we'd only be offered an exchange and not a refund. On the Monday, I found a ring in another high street jewellers that I deemed to be more suitable, and my fiancé subsequently tried to return the first ring, only to be told that he wouldn't get his money back. He was also told that Warren James does not promote their 'no refund' policy as they only offer exchanges. Nowhere in the store does it say they only offer exchanges, and the language used by the assistant was very misleading (a clear tactic employed by the company to lull customers into a false sense of security). She said, and I quote, 'you can return it within 16 days'. She didn't add that it could only be returned for an exchange. Had she, then we wouldn't have proceeded with the purchase. Needless to say, Warren James will NEVER get another penny from me or my fiancé. Once bitten..... I am giving a one star rating because I can't leave it blank. If I could I wouldn't rate it at all.

“My favourite place ever”

I always shop in derby shop. I love manager with long black hair she is so pritty. She deserves crown from Claire's accessories for giving me good services everytime. I am lonely man and she makes me hole again when I speak to her. We have lots of laughs together and she sells me very good jewlry. I would get a nice ring from there to propose but makes me sad that she is married lady. Shop is very nice and good and I really like her.

“mens 9ct gold ans silver ring.”

I bought this ring as a replacement for my wedding. I only had it a week and only wore it for 3 days when I noticed it was covered in scratches. So I took it back and they ordered me a new one and said that it shouldn't have scratched. Wore my new ring for one day and that also got scratched. Took it back this time they told me it was my fault and not a manufacturing problem. It is clear that Warren James jewellery is total rubbish and should be given a wide berth in my opinion.

“Faulty Earrings”

My Husband bought me a pair of earrings for our Anniversary AfterI had worn them a few times they went loose We took them back to the shop and all they did was try and tighten the backs but they made them worse as they bent them I asked if they would give me a new pair of backs and they told me to go and buy a pair somewhere else I will never shop there again

“Customer service brill!”

I am a social worker and often 'go that extra mile' to help those in need but my recent experience as a regular customer who likes good jewellery proved Warren James staff also go that extra mile to help customers in making choices of jewellery especially when customers want that 2nd opinion before buying. I needed some advice and support in regards to the purchase of one of the more expensive pieces of jewellery sold by Warren James staff - staff ensured they gave me this advice, I found staff helpful, pleasant, smart, patient, caring, understanding, conscientious - nothing too much trouble....they are 'worth their weight in gold' in my opinion and I would always ensure to recommend to other potential customers about their first class service. “AVOID THIS JEWELLERS ”

My fiancé bought me a dress ring from Warren James in Clydebank on Easter Sunday, he was unsure of my ring size but was advised by the Assistant that the ring could be returned and they would measure my finger & order in my size. I took the ring back to the shop 7 days ago and picked a different ring. The Assistant advised the ring would have to be ordered and should be in for the beginning of June or offered to phone the Braehead store, which she did and they did not have my ring size. Given I have large fingers the chosen ring would incur a charge as it would have to be customed made. I was unhappy with this and asked for a refund which was refused . I then asked for a credit note and was informed the credit note would have to be used in the issuing store and would have to be used within 6 months & could not be extended. I had no choice but to accept the credit note. I e.mailed their Customer Service Dept on my return from the shop, my e.mail has went unanswered. I also looked for the e.mail address of their CEO without success. My next step is to contact Trading Standards or Consumer Advice. DREADFUL COMPANY AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

“Poor quality”

Brought 2 new chains here for my pendants, one being a small diamond I had had for 30 years. Lost my diamond after a few wears as chain must have broke while I was out. I had no recollection of catching it - put it down to bad luck although I was devasted at the loss. Wore the other one but broke on 2nd wear luckily whitle I was sitting down at home. Stood up and dropped onto floor. Only changed chains for a different length - costly mistake. Do not buy from this jewellers.

My partner proposed to me but the ring was the wrong size. When I bought it into their store in Wellingborough they didn't have my size so they gave me a voucher that I can only use in that store. I wonder how long it will take for them to bring my size. The voucher is valid for 6 months but I don't want to wait so much for my ring.What should I do?

My partner proposed to me but unfortunately the ring was the wrong size. I bought it into your store in Burton to be resized and my ring couldnt be exchanged because I had worn it,it was ready within 2 days and my ring fit perfectly. When I got home I noticed a crack in my dimond that wasn't there before. I was so disappointed and thought Warren James wouldn't exchange my ring so you probably wouldn't replace my diamond either. It has been annoying me every day so I'm sending this message in hope this problem can be solved! Can you help me?

I'm afraid I found them awful in terms of customer service- my ring bent out of shape and my partner had to fight really hard to get it replaced. Their 'revenge' was to complain to his bosses (he occasionally did some work for them) even though this was a private transaction. I would be really firm and threaten to take them to the small claims court. Their main depot is at Banber House, Whitehill Industrial Estate, Reddish. It might be worth going down there. Needless to say, we went elsewhere for our wedding rings! They're an awful company and I'm sorry you received the same terrible service we did. Good luck with it.

You need to approach warren james...I have had dealings with them,,,,you really should have checked it before you left the shop to flag up to them that there was a crack...they are awful to deal with I tell you and the quality of their items are equally as bad! I would go into the shop and get head office address and the area manager and take it up with them...hope you get sorted out soon!

I put a £65 deposit down on an engagement ring a couple of days ago to secure it. Unfortunately my partner and I have decided that it's just too soon! I see from the receipt that they don't refund deposits, obviously I don't want to lose max £65. Would I be entitled to a credit note?

You should get a credit note but my experience I would avoid all dealings with the company. Customer service is a nightmare and worse when you contact head office.

Just bought £170 curb chain from Warren James as a present. Now I worried because there is no hallmark on the chain. Does this mean it is not gold and will wear off? As it is for a present it will look just like a cheap piece of jewellery without any hallmark. Not happy, want value for my money.

My fiance brought my engagement ring about 3 months ago now, I've had it for about 2 and I hardly wear it as I'm an engineer and don't want to damage it. Its 18ct white gold and 1/2 carat diamond. Yesterday I was shopping and went to turn around and my finger tapped the wall, not hard, no impact, literally touched! And I instantly knew something was wrong, I looked at the diamond and half way down the diamond it's cracked horizontally!!! There are no marks or grazes as I never wear it and there was no impact or knock! So I took it into a different jewellers as there wasn't a warren james near by, they said it definately shouldn't have cracked and even wear and tear diamonds shouldn't do that.. so where do I stand?? Because I've had it more than 30 days but obviously it's not fit for purpose.. and with reviews their customer services and policies aren't great. If they say they can't do nothing then where do I go? The ring was approx 1,000. Many thanks

I've ordered a ring special size, having to pay 50% cost to order. It's non refundable. With hindsight, I think this is unfair. Can the money not be used for something else? Also, it's taking 6 weeks. A Hatton Garden jewellers takes 2-3 weeks. Who looks more professional?

My partner got my engagement ring in Warren James and it was one size to big, they sent it off to have a smaller size and say it will be 6 weeks before I can get it back. Is this normal? Very disappointed that they take so long.

Bought necklace from Warren James that cost £60. The first time I wore it the clasp broke. Can I demand a refund? I bought it 2 weeks ago and I've still got receipt.

I bought my engagement ring 2 years ago. I wear this ring about once a week. I noticed yesterday that there is a diamond missing. I thought engagement rings were designed and made to last alot longer than this. What is your advice on how to fix this?

I brought my daughter some gold earring for Christmas just 4 weeks ago. The description of them are a hollow love heart shape with diamanté. She dropped one on the floor trying to put them in and it snapped in two. Will they swap them for a new pair?
