Hi all, I ' m terribly sorry but everyone should know this. I brought a (beloved, been gifted from a special person that we recently lost) bulova accutron. The watch was 4 years old and was accidentally bashed on the floor because the strap mechanism failed. The watch stopped working. I brought it to the watch in Leicester. They kept it for nearly 6 months... I called several times to know the situation or any date to be delivered. I had may watch back 6 months later.... Was "working" but the stop watch wouldn't go back to its 0 position. So I reported it and they had the watch back for another 4 to 5 months ( free o charges of course) to fix it. When the watch was back it was making a strange noise and would work only if winded up manually. I brought the watch to a specialist in italy who dismounted it in 10 seconds in front of me and showed me the problems. 3 of the screws that hold the mechanism to the cage were missing. The weight for the automatic movement was hanging freely, in position but completely detached to the mechanism hence it could work only if charged manually. I spent 395 quid to the watch lab to destroy my watch, I didn't have my watch for nearly a year to have it back worse that what it was (but polished... Yes was polished) and had to spent other 300 euros (lot less that the watch lab to fix it properly with originals parts). I strongly recommend that whoever need something more than a battery changed (and even there I would be suspicious) would take a flight to Italy and fix the watch there. Will be even cheaper that the watch lab with the plus of a nice break in Italy!

I went to the store in Highcross shopping centre Leicester and asked about replacing the pin that holds the buckle to the strap on my Casio G Shock. Before I could say anything else the guy behind the counter fixed it and said it was free of charge. How about that for service, thank you ever so much and I will definitely return in the future as a paying customer.

Took in my watch after calling the branch. I'd been given a cost of £39.95 for a strap alteration. When I arrived I was told that the price had risen to £49.95 after the operative had spoken with his manger. I should have walked away on principle but I'd driven all the way into town and paid for parking plus I wanted the watch for hat evening as was planning to wear out. Wouldn't go back.

Visited the Leefs branch. Had battery change and reselling of my gold watch. Very friendly efficient service. Would recommend to a friend

Visited Brent cross branch with a watch was told unrepairable,man told me to give him half an hour I did and now watch is working perfectly,well done guys,superb.

Used the Watch Lab in Glasgow Silverburn for a repair to my husband's DYNY watch. Very helpful staff, efficient repair and at a price much less than other quotes I had. Would definitely recommend.

I took my Michael Kors watch to the Watch Lab to get my battery replaced and the end result was excellent. In addition to this, I got a discount on a professional clean ( it really needed doing!) but my watch came out looking brand new. I highly recommend this service to anyone wanting some work doing to their watch, the staff are professional and talented at what they do. You can trust them with your precious time peice!

I took my Ebel watch to the Leicester outlet. They replaced the cell for the price and within the time quoted so I am very pleased. Previously the watch had been sent to Ebel in Switzerland. They said that the watch had to be serviced as it was rusty inside, as well as supplying the new cell, all at a cost of £300. The Watch Lab couldn't find any rust and replaced the cell for £120. I would definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

Tried to up the price if a repair by 50% after having watch for 3 weeks. Repair carried out elsewhere at a fraction of their original price.

I had never been here before but thought I would give it a try and am so glad I did. I was greeted very kindly by who I think was the manager. I wanted my watch battery replaced and have found it hard to get it replaced elsewhere due to the type of watch I had. The manager knew exactly why. He knew all about my watch make and style and what needed to be done. His knowledge really impressed me and made me feel at ease about handing over my watch. I was told to come back in an hour. I did so and was greeted with my watch all ready for me. I was told all about what had been done and reassured about guarantees. A really quick and easy experience with people I knew I could trust from the moment I stepped in to the shop.

I needed a replacement battery for my watch, but was short of time to catch a train. The friendly team at Leicester Highcross helped me with a faster service than normal and when I returned to collect it in 15 minutes, it was ready and waiting. Thank you for a great service.

I took my Casio G shock to Liecester branch. Very efficient staff. Not phased by my watch. Replaced the battery which is what I wanted. But added bonus were able to reseal the watch for underwater use. I thought I would have to surrender this feature to get the battery fitted. Only took an hour! So no hassle of sending watch away etc. I would definitely use the service again.

I took my Timex watch in for a new battery. The watch was also resealed and I had it cleaned. The watch looked a lot better afterwards and I have experienced no problems. The service was very efficient, quick and the employee - he was really helpful and polite. The price for the work was reasonable.

Excellent service, speedy repair to 2 watches within the hour. Informative staff. This is the 4th time my family have used the Watch Lab in Leicester and i would not hesitate to recomend. Repairs to Next, Sekonda and Superdry. The lab is situated right in the centre of the Highcross shopping centre, easily accessible.

Excellent service from The Watch Lab at Southampton. My husband's Omega watch needed a replacement battery. The battery was replaced, and the watch cleaned within an hour. Staff helpful, polite and efficient.

I was greeted with a smile and the staff were very courteous indeed. The battery of the watch was replaced free of charge as the last one you fitted hadn't lasted long enough. I will definitely use your service again.

Mentioned as do repair on branded watch...did rip you off with the name of service...send my Rado watch just to change a battery but given back as working and realised as the crown broken...and took back to the shop abd then mentioned that needed servicing... to me the they does not know how to repair but they are not capable of handling th watch...has they lost the parts from the Rado as after been given to Rado service centre. They are not capable of handling and expensive watches...they do well know to rip you off with the name of Servicing.....so I would appreciate not to take your watch to The Watch Lab....this is from my experience.

Do not recommend. Have done a full restoration on my vintage ômega seamaster (auto) and 2.5 years later watch stopped. Spoke to the branch manager in Brent Cross whobwas rude, patronising and absolute money craver. Tthe watch was full restored less than 2.5 years ago by watchlab(it took than several months to carry the work) I paid £590 for it. Now the watch stopped working they are telling me that a full restoration needed at the cost of £690. Have they not done that previously?? Becareful, check others first as they cannot be trusted.
