Been with them since November and I cannot understand the negative reviews as I have had no trouble with them. You may have to wait a few days for delivery but its always tracked so you can look online to see when it will be delivered. I pay every month and always pay a bit more than is expected and can honestly say I have been very happy with them. If I do not like an item I can arrange a pick up and I don't have to go all the way to the Post Office to return. Returns are back with them in a couple of days. If I ring Customer services they have always been polite and helpful. I suppose if you are aggressive with them, you cannot expect them to be polite with you.

“Smell of Bags would gag a horse”

Purchased handbags to open and realize,they were horrid in smell. from 1 to 10?They were beyond 10.They smelled of moth balls. When I contacted them they said there would be a charge for restocking, that they would charge me, if I retrunred them.I could not believe it.

“rubish”

I wish i never sighed up for fashion worldthey gave me 150 pounds to spend then they just told me that i have to pay by credit card i am a good payer i pay on time and always pay more than i should but still keep sending me there rubish books that say that i have 150 pounds to spend i emailed them 3 times they say there get back to u in 3days but they never do rubish cheap clothes and boots that rubish quality and rubish costomer service that nerver solve the problem or get ba k to u dont shop with them

“Appalling company. ”

Appalling company.

Would give 0 out of 5 if able to. Ordered items requesting that if order could not arrive by certain date as I was going abroad to cancel the order. The order did not arrive in time. Arrived back to the uk to find the order in my back garden. I returned the items. Later I find that I have been charged a late return fee for each item and they will not refund that amount.
They also kept the money that I paid for the order, ie not refunding my debit card instead keeping it in my balance of Fashion World account.

Expensive for cheap quality clothing.
Terrible customer service.
Appalling, appalling, appalling.

Steer well clear from this company.

They usually give you an idea when you order how long it will be. It's a bit unfair expecting them to deliver by a certain date. I have been with them a few months now and have had no trouble. Returns are picked up within a couple of days. As for leaving parcels in the garden, that is the fault of the Courier and I would complain to them. They should not have kept your money though. I would ring them and tell them you want to close your account and they will then have to refund you.

“Fashion World is great for fashion for both men and...”

Fashion World is great for fashion for both men and women and delivery is usually fairly swift. The only down side is the supply and delivery of electrical items. Most of the electrical items (if not all) are supplied direct from the manufacturers which leads to longer deliverly times and, quite frankly, a poorer level of service. Most of the problems will be outwith Fashion Worlds control but I feel they many not pay enough attention to the service being offered by the manufacturers.

To date I have had an electric fire delivered to me which was left at my back door in the rain and have waited over 14 days for a tv that was supposed to be delivered in approximately 7 days. The delivery company phoned me up on a Monday night after 5pm to say delivery would take place between 8am and 12am the next day, so I cancelled all appointments and waited. At 11.45am the courier turned up at my door to tell me that my TV was "not there" and it "will be tomorrow now". When I pointed out that he was possibly "scamming" me and making off with the goods he got quite sarcastic but calmed down enough to suggest I call Fashion World. I did and after trying to pan me off with the old "it does take longer from the manufacturer" line they did see my point about checking whether the tv had ever been on the van or not. I then received a phone call from the drivers company to tell me that my tv would be coming the next day but surely they knew that at 8am in the morning and could have phoned instead of wasting my morning.

On the plus side, have ordered a washing machine as well and it turned up early, with excellent communication from Expert Logisitics the delivery comapany and the men who delivered it were polite and friendly.

I would also recommend that you try to pay as much as you can when your statement arrives from Fashion World because they do apply interest to the balance and I notice from various online forums that some people have been caught out by this and have ended up getting in difficulties with payments.

“Fashion World offer a good overall service, customer...”

Fashion World offer a good overall service, customer service is better, but again based in Manchester, along with Kays and Choice For You.

It takes a while for customer service to get it right with amendments, but they do get there.

There are too many options on the automated service (phone options).
