Last order in February - received a 2.75 kg bag of food instead of a 3 kg bag. Contacted company and Zooplus told me to send a photo! and have never refunded or replaced.

Order received today Snack box containing 5 items only contained 4 - have contacted await response

I was impressed with Zooplus' service until now. They advertise goods that are not available and allow you to place the order which is annoying as there is no mention the item is not in stock when they do not know when it will be available.
Some of their emails do not go through and return.
I received a reply to one of my emails in German.
They no longer seem to care.
They advertise products on a German website www.smarterdeal.co.uk which are misleading as they show pictures of other product but what is sold at a low price. i.e. £69 cat wooden box showing a price of £4.99 which is in fact the price of the plastic tray inside it, etc...
Zooplus is based in Germany so the UK consumer regulations do not apply.
Their prices are good but now the service is not.

Ordered a Eheim Aquatic Vacuum cleaner. After 3 weeks, the internals began making a grating noise then the item went completely kaput.
I returned the item for a replacement, as the one sent was inherently faulty. After a month I've had no replacment. Very Very Poor Customer service.

Electrical items use two pin plugs and adaptor supplied is giagantic and not practical when space is at a premium..from my point of view.
The Eheim is submersible and like the air pump is very quiet in operation. The aquarium water does become cloudy during use, this is mentioned in the instructions, but this is collected in the filter and clears after a couple of hours.

Shame the quality is poor

Is it normal to wait a week for a package from Zooplus? Ordered on Sunday and still waiting.

Some of their products are imported from other countries e.g. Germany and the Netherlands and, in those circumstances, they take a bit longer to arrive and I would say that a week is not unusual. I suggest you check the tracking information that Zooplus provide when they advise you that the order has been despatched. That should give you some idea of where the order is. If it is coming from another country then there will inevitably be a delay. I know that when I order large bags of dog food they are often imported and therefore I do not expect a next day delivery which I usually expect from Amazon. Apart from one recent incident, when there were significant delays and no meaningful information forthcoming, I am very happy with the service provided and the very good prices. You may be able to get your orders quicker from other suppliers but, from my experience, there is an extra cost.

My packages usually arrive after 3-4 days but I ordered a cat tree this time and that took about a week - maybe coming from a different supplier. Did you have an email confirming the order? I've been shopping with zooplus for several years now and can't fault them, even if I've had a problem with the order it's been easily resolved.
